“My go-to favorite neighborhood grocery store, this one has some very specific ethnic foods as well as all the staple foods. Sometimes not stocked well because of high demand but most of the time you can buy majority of your food needs there. Who mange the store - Thank you! and keep it up!”

And in the store the owners or one of them charge products twice, be careful and attentive when they carry a lot of products, that's when they charge products twice...ask for a receipt and check how well it is.”
“I've been going to this location for years. I understand it is under new management. STOP MAKING YOUR EMPLOYEES YELL OUT HOW MUCH WE HAVE SAVED!!! It is insulting to us as customers (we can read the receipt) and it is embarrassing and annoying for your employees.”

“I love Lunardi's sandwiches and especially the Turkey Avocado on sour dough roll. They usually make the sandwiches to your specifications. Their sandwiches also taste better with a bowl of soup. Lunardi's offers many cold cut sandwiches and so far I had roast beef, pastrami, turkey and tuna. They all were excellent. The prices are very reasonable. Compared to other places. My sandwich without the cheese is about $12.99 Compared to $16 to $19 elsewhere. The soup is priced separate. Try it, you will go back; I guarantee it.”

They always try the new products themselves, and they are very keen about the expiration dates - you won't find an expired product on their shelves.”

“Special thank you to Gabriella, an assistant store manager who was left in charge of the store May 18, 2024. We placed a large deli 9 tray order online and received a confirmation. When we arrived to pick it up, the deli department had no knowledge. The trays were to be the food for the funeral reception for my mother-in-law and we were on our way to the service when we were picking it up. Needless to say, my husband was VERY upset by the mistake by Safeway.
Gabriella showed up at the funeral reception with 5 platters of food. She had made every effort to make it right. We really appreciate her attempts to right the wrong.
