Love that we have a country club in Clayton, but they miss with food and beverage service. Everything takes forever no matter what you order. Golf course is in decent shape, but as a social member I'm only allowed on after 1pm.

I am a professional wedding photographer. I shoot at a LOT of venues. Oakhurst is right at the top of my very favorite venues to work at. The entire staff is incredibly friendly! The DJ, Jeno, is outstanding and very professional. The grounds themselves are beautiful and wonderful for getting MANY different backdrops that are unique for weddings portraits. I have shot about 20 weddings here and always look forward to my next one. On top of that, many years ago I too got married here. Wonderful venue!

I reached out to venue directly with no response so after a lot of thought and consideration, I write this to inform you of a unsatisfied customer/client. My daughter's wedding took place at your venue recently and was not what we were promised. We had a successful rehearsal the day before with Ashley (new event Director) and she stated she would be 100% available to us for any concerns we had throughout the wedding day, her entire goal for the day was to make sure things run smoothly. Well they did not. I had asked at rehearsal to modify the seating at the ceremony site from 5 chairs per row on each side to 6 due to family's needs and that had yet to be done upon arrival. When we entered the bridal suite there was a table with our small, food bites and mimosas, however there were no plates, napkins or waters which she had assured us the day prior there would be due to one of the bridesmaids asking if she could bring her canteen with water and was told by Ashley they would provide waters. After getting all our supplies in the room I went to locate Ashley to ask her if she could please bring plates, napkins and waters to the room but could not locate her anywhere in the building. Went to her office downstairs on 3 separate occasions over the course of two hours until finally the accountant asked if there was something she could help me with. I asked for Ashley and was told she did not know where she was, whether she was offsite or not but that she would contact her. I asked if she was there and she said she did not know. By this time it was almost 2pm. and the chairs that were supposed to have been moved at the ceremony site were not, so I took it upon myself to go ahead and move them because the arrival time of guests was 3pm. A very short time later Ashley came into the bridal suite and stated "are you looking for me?" I said yes, I have been for 2 hours and gave her my requests and she proceeded to tell me she was in a meeting with the general manager. Don't tell someone you are going to be available the entire time of their event and then disappear for hours and have no coverage (could have designated an alternate person). A short time later as we were getting ready for the ceremony my daughter watched her Octagon fully decorated with white draping and her flower spray tumble over. This Octagon was not what we were originally promised when we decided on your venue, she had been promised the white arbor but due to it being destroyed during a prior storm event they had replaced it with this Octagon so we sufficed and had full draping applied to make it what she envisioned. Now her beautiful spray flowers that we paid good money for had been crushed with the Octagon falling over on them. I again went looking for Ashley to inform her and after several minutes found her. She couldn't believe it had fallen. She did go out with a couple of male assistants to pick it up and dust off the white draping and try to fix the flowers. It was then secured with bean bags. I would have thought these security measures would have already been in place. Just glad my daughter and her fiance were not standing there when it tumbled over because it would have been right on them causing injury I am sure. . Now onto the after party... The wedding took place from 4:15p until 4:45p (a 15 minute delay) so we did not get into the reception until 4:50p and were to have an hour of hosted cocktail hour. Well at 5:30p partygoers were told that cocktail hour was over and they could purchase any and all drinks. This is not what we paid for. Dinner was wonderful but not one table was cleaned of any dinnerware. When it came time for cutting the cake the bride and groom did not have cake cutting materials available as previously requested to cut the cake. We had to have waitstaff retrieve it from the kitchen. The DJ announced that the cake would be cut in the back and then brought out to the tables in a few minutes. Well a short time later no guests had cake yet. After the cake was cut it was brought out to the back table and n

We held our wedding reception at Fairfield Oakhurst and had an amazing experience! Myra and her staff are excellent. The view of the golf course is stunning and the venue is beautiful. We and our guests had an incredible time! A once in a lifetime experience.

This review is long overdue. I was interested in a membership at Oakhurst CC and Robbie Fiedler was the one to help me out. From day one he was timely with correspondence, professional, and didn't waste my time. We scheduled a walk through to see what Oakhurst had to offer and Robbie was quick to help get everything setup. He gave me a detailed rundown of the grounds, amenities, and membership details, and answered all my questions; Robbie was highly personable and best thing, was genuinely interested in my getting to know the country club. With Robbie as part of the staff, I'm convinced that customer service is high priority at this club. If you are interested in membership at Oakhurst, Robbie is your guy!

We were at their booth this weekend at the Clayton Art and Wine Festival and were easily dismissed after winning a Golf for 2 and was offered a free chap stick. The next couple after us spun the wheel and was asked if they were interested in a membership after winning the same Golf for 2 that we just won previously. We felt discriminated against because we were persons of color and the other couple was White. This is the reality of being a person of color in Clayton, CA

Events people stole our wedding photos and without our permission, are using them for all of their promotional materials. Absolutely disgusting. Can't get a call back from management either.

We are so glad we chose Fairview Oakhurst for our wedding venue! Myra went above and beyond to make our day so special and amazing. The ceremony site overlooking Mt. Diablo was gorgeous, the food and drinks were delicious, every moment was so fun. I loved getting ready in the bridal suite, taking the golf course around the grounds to have a private moment to take couple photos after the ceremony, and the dancing/sparklers at the end of the night. Thank you so much for everything, Oakhurst!

The views are breathtaking and is a nice venue to hold a special event, however If your objective is to go there and socialize there is not much of this unfortunately. Families go do their thing, tennis, golf, swim and go home, not much socialization unless you attend the social events. Not much to do for little ones either.

Moving my rating up to 4 stars because of the amazing General Manager, Marnie. She was the woman I had mentioned before who was my saving grace of the day. She reached out to me and apologized for our experience and cared enough to make it right. Thank you, Marnie :)

It was a great venue with beautiful views! The golf course was a perfect back drop for our sunset photos. The food was actually pretty good! We had 80 guests and the servers did not bring our cake out efficiently. We had guests on the patio, the dance floor and at their seats. Some of The cake was put on the cake table and some slices were put at empty seats. Not all of our guests got a slice of cake do to distribution and we did not get our original cake topper back because they threw our away. I found out after, The bar tender was cutting people off drinks after one drink and was giving my best man a hard time for ordering two drinks for him and his wife. I had payed for an open bar. Over all it was a great evening! But a few things should've been better from oakhurst.

Perfection! First word comes to mind when thinking of my daughters graduation party at Oakhurst Country Club. From the start Myra made the planning so much easier. Details I didn't think of Myra coached me along about. Not to mention vendors we're super helpful and friendly. We LOVED our centerpieces. Most of all the space was but a dream. Almost every guest in attendance mentioned how lovely the space was. The terrace alone is worth every cent. The sunsets at night OH My gosh! The Mountain View's overlooking the valley. The service super helpful, willing and felt like all fell together perfectly because of Myra and staff. Our first hour of drinks were included, my guests loved that added touch. I loved the beef ribs, the mash and pasta salads. Yummo! Most of all the space, I cannot tell you how many times my daughter called me to say what a lovely time she had because of the space and everyone being present on such a special momentous occasion for my family. There is nothing I would of done differently except maybe hired a photographer to have pictures family having an awesome time. Thanks Oakhurst, Myra, Bryce and Marnie. What a wonderful time we had! A memory that will last a lifetime.
