“I went to scribner with my hubby and two small kids under 2. We were welcomed and they gave us a nice table in the shade. The wine is delicious and the food (Paesanos) was also great! We had a pizza! Definitely will come back. The grounds are beautiful”

“I went here on July 15 to see Beauty of Japan which I recommend seeing if you can, they were all very passionate about their performance. Also, the theater was nice (only complaint was that there was no AC on a hot evening but I'm not sure if they don't have AC or chose not to use it...). Comfortable seating and easy to see the stage.”

“What a treat in Elk Grove. My brother is a member and took us for a round. It was an amazing day with lush fairways and challenging greens. This course kicked our butts on the greens. They look easy and that's just it.”

“Today's event was a multicultural festival day in which everyone gets to share a little bit about their heritage. The weather was perfect this year compared to last year because it was raining last year.”

“The Elks Lodge on Riverside/Florin is such a warm, hospitable place. They have re-opened Sunday breakfast with a to-order omelette bar, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage. Juice, coffee, tea. It's all really good and well worth the $15.”

“Great Venue! The building is actually a sports complex, however, it transformed to a multipurpose facility this weekend. The Creative Space and Sacramento Asian Pacific Cultural Village hosted the first ever Asian Pacific CultureFest and we were here to support local small businesses. My daughter actually was one of the 80+ vendors who participated. SASF is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1994. This nice, large, clean facility can accommodate different types of community and sporting events and can hold a lot of people. It is actually a basketball gym and is located in the Laguna West area in Elk Grove (near the Apple Computer facility on Laguna Blvd). Family-friendly place. The venue and the staff were great! There were restrooms in the facility and also an in-house kitchen for other types of events that will need one. Well-kept grounds with plenty of parking. I had a fun time supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses. I didn't have any difficulty finding the place. Review #2576”

“We had a lovely weeding here over the summer! Our guests were all from out of town and completely taken back by how beautiful our space was. We had oyster shuckers for cocktail hour and a waffle truck for dessert. We loved that we could easily bring in our vendors.Anette (owner) was so helpful and just beyond sweet and fun to work with. We definitely recommend and look forward to visiting over the years as we hit new milestones ?? ”

“Came here after a weekday evening discussion of "what do you want to eat?" "I don't know, what do you want to eat?" After cycling through multiple dinner iterations we setted one OneSpeed. So glad we came. Was expecting it to be super busy/crowded as it was a gorgeous evening out but even though patio was full we were able to be seated quickly inside. I've been here many times before, (even hosting our wedding dinner rehearsal here eons ago), but after ordering I just happened to observe the Staff for a bit being situated in a booth with a good view of the restaurant. What I noticed in a few minutes is that the Staff working there on this particular evening seemed genuinely happy. Whatever the owners/management are doing, I hope they continue to do so as this translates into good customer service, and also great food. Opted for the Fried Brussels Sprouts for an Appetizer and the Garden Pizza for the main dish. I've never had lemon on pizza before so was curious to give it a try. After a few bites, I found it a bit hard to take. My wife then pointed out I was chewing actual lemon slices. After proceeding to take them off I found (to my surprise) that the lemon flavor really worked well! Brussels Sprouts were done really well, nice and crispy but not overdone. I ordered their Berryessa IPA, which had a super dank flavor. I am really easy going with beer but just found it overpowering. I politely asked if I could have something else instead. Couldn't find an appealing alternate beer so settled on the house red instead, which was really nice. Generally speaking, one of the nicest dining experiences I have had in a while. Came in a bit spun out mid week and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!”

“An authentic Hong Kong style dim sum restaurant that has plenty of delicious options. From the moment one enters the door, servers warmly greet you, ask for your party size, and beckon you in. Right as one sits down, servers with carts flock to you, rapidly and eagerly serving you all sorts of delicious options. The service is immediate and lightning fast! They all speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and many will ask if you would like to order anything specific that isn't shown on the carts. The sesame balls with red bean paste was my favorite dish, but the others didn't fail to disappoint as prices are quite affordable, starting at 4.50 for small dishes, 5.00 for medium, and 5.50 for large dishes. The room is also lavishly decorated with a stage and dance floor (probably for weddings), drapes hanging from the ceiling, and chandeliers dotting the area.”

The package I picked came with 3 entries, a side and unlimited soda. The kids absolutely loved it. “The annual Filipino Fiesta is held every first Sunday of June at the Jose Rizal Community Center (Florin Mall Drive) to celebrate Philippine Independence Day. It's definitely a showcase of Central Valley Filipino-ness, culture and talent! It's run by six Filipino American community organizations and promotes community and youth relations, educating on history, with cultural activities and other festival events. The highlights of the fiesta include a parade, live entertainment, eskrima & arnis tournaments, traditional Filipino food. All ages, free entry, purchases out of pocket. 2022 was the first in-person event since Covid! The Fiesta went from 10am-5pm. When I arrived around 11am, it was pretty packed and I had to parallel park on the side street rather than the main parking lots. Weather was that weird overcast sprinkly light wind which doesn't scream "June" summertime, but for being out on the grassy area it was ok for walking. They had a charity car show/contest (Team LoveHATE and Neu Era), many many vendor booths from sponsors such as SMUD, UC Davis Health, Vaccinate All 58, Kaiser Permanente, Cache Creek, East Lawn, Sac Asian Chamber of Commerce (shout-out to Nikki S.!) giving out free 10-pack N95 masks and up to 3 Covid tests and other fun stalls like QTEA Boba (taro, milk tea, thai tea), a candle shop, a sticker shop, Filipino wares/crafts like island dresses, fun shirts, bracelets, Filipino flags, etc. My fave was the MTPhotos Sac mini photobooth and raffle (shoutout Misty T.!). They had an outdoor stage for music, performers as well as an indoor stage with performances by Sinagtala, tinikling (bamboo traditional folk dance), kung fu demonstration, Zumba, an oldies band, Polynesian dancers. The food trucks were very popular. Official vendors were Hella Halo (halo-halo), Pinorrito, Daisy's Desserts, My Lumpia Lady, Duffy's Hot Dogs, Angry Asian Chef, and Sugarbar. They had some tables and chairs for people to sit and eat too. I saw people eating chicken adobo and rice, lumpia, bbq on a stick, pancit! I picked up a few sweet treats from Ube Galore Breads & More (Bay Area-based) -- ube eggpie and ube cassava to take home...delicious!”

“When I lived out of state and had to visit Sacramento/Elk Grove, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express! It is such a beautiful hotel! I love the location as it is close to shopping and restaurants! It is also close to Highway 99! One year, I stayed during Thanksgiving week. I found myself shopping on Black Friday, just because I could. The stores were right there! The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is exceptionally kind too! Our room was always beautiful, clean, and spacious! I loved the full length mirror and vanity mirror over the sink! I appreciated having a mini fridge in the room! We especially appreciated the Continental breakfast for guests! They have a nice variety of food to enjoy! The staff kept it well stocked and clean to keep up with guests coming through! As a single mom, I felt safe being in the hotel, walking the lobby, and hallways. We had a beautiful view of the pool and the streets! I used to work in the hotel industry and rarely saw the hotel as a guest, so, being on the other side of things is fun! I want to take another opportunity to mention the staff as they are hard workers Be kind to them!”

“excellent customer serviceWe went to the rooftop pool and bar at Canopy for a couple of drinks and to relax at the pool, and were not disappointed. The cocktails and the bartender were amazing — delicious drinks and fast, friendly service. The pool wasn’t loud or crowded and it was the chill vibe we were hoping for. The pool is on the 14th floor and the views from the rooftop at night were beautiful. The restrooms were clean and very spacious, which really helps when you have to change clothes. We’d definitely go back!”
