The folks in the branch are nice and friendly but not empowered to do much. Savings rates are pitiful. But what prompted me to write this review was that they closed a charitable trust account where I serve as treasurer. I received a note that these accounts required a physical address, so I went to the website and added my physical address. They then sent a letter to that physical address that they were closing the account because there was not physical address. I want to the branch to show them evidence it was a physical address, before the account closed and they said "yep, they are closing the account. there is nothing we can do". Can I open a new account? "Sure". Made no sense and caused me a bunch of time and the expense of getting new checks. I am happy now at Morgan Stanley. Still have my personal checking there but the days are numbered. Just a hint to WF -- people on the boards of charitable trusts are likely good banking customers. Customer since 1979 per my debit card.

Bank here if you like long lines and only 1, teller working! 20-minute wait! I won't be coming back here...

Quite possibly the nicest and most welcoming Wells Fargo I've been to thus far, and I've been to many. Came here for a simple transaction and they were so kind and helpful. It was close to 5pm so there was no line and they were fast and efficient. Thank you WF Claremont!

Exceptional customer service. Had to deposit a cashier's check. Had trouble all day w my deposit. Ran into this WF branch about 10 minutes before closing. They were friendly and went above and beyond to help me solve my issue. I was able to deposit my cashier's check w no frustration and they even stay slightly after 5pm to help me w my account issues. I went into the bank frustrated and stressed, and left this Wells Fargo Bank relieved, smiling, and happy. I am so thankful for their wonderful customer service and willingness to go out of their way help out a WF customer. I do not even belong to their specific branch location, and they were simply wonderful. Thank you Wells Fargo Claremont Branch.

I've been a long time Wells Fargo Bank (WFB) customer since 1993 and I still am... if I did the math right in my head... that's 29 years ago... just two years after graduating from high school. Amazing how time flies when we're having fun. I normally prefer to use the ATM versus walking into the bank for my banking needs unless I need to speak to someone or need to get something done that I can't get done via ATM. Nowadays, I'm finding myself walking into the bank more often than not because I'm helping my Mom with money stuff LOL. This Claremont branch is where I get my and my Moms banking needs done. If you have extra time to spare, it's nice to stroll around downtown Claremont... a very quaint place. Staff at this location is professional, friendly, and helpful. Sometimes you might get a bank teller who isn't the most pleasant... don't let them ruin your day just because it's just not their nature to be friendly... they can't help it. Whenever I walk into this branch, there is always a wonderful coffee aroma. I don't drink coffee, but I enjoy a good frap. Anyway, I feel humble whenever I walk into a WFB because of their history since the 1800's and they are still going strong. Give them a try and open an account at any of their branches today! Happy Banking!

I Absolutely enjoy this Location for Wells Fargo, I've been a Member as of 2004nand refuse any location with Rude People inside a Branch or out, this Location On Claremont isn't just Clean but everyone is Super Nice. I do have a Huge Down fall I'd Complain about they don't have any or Many at that anyone who can Translate any language other then English, perhaps that should be a Plus on anyone's Resume these days. Other then that I Love this place. Don't forget that due to Covid the Entry is no longer near the Starbucks view now it's towards the Parking lot Rear. And also Note that Appointments only if you'd prefer seeing a Banker in their Pod Cubicle. Even the Cocky Muscle Gym Rat is a Sweetheart and Straight ( Damn ) ha ha .. All in all 5

Best bank in Claremont by far. The staff is competent, courteous and competent. The personal bankers are quick and accurate when I have needed to discuss my accounts. The teller window moves fast and the employees go above and beyond to get my transactions done. Great branch if you are local to Claremont and like visiting the Village!

I have banked with Wells Fargo for something like 20 years. I went in a few months ago to the Claremont branch and talked with a manager about a sick relative of mine who also banks with WF. The manager was not only completely unhelpful but started laughing about all the problems our family is going through. It was completely disgusting. I asked for the number of a regional manager and was given one, but when I called it led to a number that was disconnected.

When I asked the teller to give me my savings account balance, She said my balance out loud. Not good.

Agree with Daniel A. Worst customer service ever. Fourth visit today to this branch for a simple activity. This time I scheduled 2:30 appointment with the one person I'm told can help me. Still waiting.

This branch has the worst customer service ever. I went in to do a credit card payment and didn't know why my balance was higher than I thought. Arlette, a teller, told me to call the number in the back of my card to figure out why. HUH!? I've never had someone tell me to call a number! At other branches they would sit me down with a banker and they pull up my info! They can see all of that! Right when we started talking to Arlette I felt rushed and like she didn't want to deal with me (I was the only one in line so they weren't busy) the overall vibe at this branch is so weird. Not friendly at all!

This is the worst branch I have been to by far. It is unfortunate because they previously have had some helpful and friendly people. The current manager, who I have never seen before, needs some work. Even though I have been a customer here for many years, and have been loyal to Wells Fargo, I was treated like a stranger. The Customer service center has no relation to this Wells Fargo branch, so do not bother with any information you are given. It will not match up with this branch's "policies." My advise to visitors? Get someone to work with you who actually gives a damn about their customer's concerns. My advise to this branch? Try to refrain from treating veterans like they are criminals.

Keep away. I know why Wells has had ethical problems. Highly suspicious. Went on Friday. Maybe a mistake. Maybe a mistake ever dealing with Wells. This branch has zero customer service. Managers rude.

I got some money from the ATM and went inside to change the $20's to $100's. I took out my driver's license and Wells card. I was greeted with an eye roll and "what's that for?" from the teller. One would think that with the recent bad press concerning Wells Fargo's business practices, customer service would be better. As a former Wells Fargo Team Member, this breaks my heart. It has become difficult to remain with Wells Fargo and I am afraid I have had enough. Perhaps a local credit union would be a better fit than this gigantic bank.
