I am responding to the several selfish, unthoughtful negative reviews posted recently. I have come to this post office for more than 20 years, beginning from the time I was a student at the nearby colleges. I have noticed how USPS head office have steadily reduced the staff, services, and capabilities here while the number of customers has remained the same or grown. Head Office has set up this post office and hundreds more like it to fail. Your unthoughtful complaints are not helping. Meanwhile, staff here struggle valiantly on. I thank them for doing their best in spite of conditions beyond their control. May I recommend before you slam the staff here that you consider writing first to USPS Washington DC and your representatives. Thank you.

You must first make an appointment to get a passport request processed. And only one staff member can handle passport requests. This means two trips minimum to the post office. A very frustrating way to make a slow process take even longer.

service is absolutely TERRIBLE and theemployees talk like they just smoked meth. they’re so beyond slow and rude. and why is there 4/5 windows when only 1 or 2 at the most are open ?! the line is always 15 people deep and 30 minutes long. i hate that this is the closest usps to me.

Do not depend upon this post office (or USPS at all) to process your change of address correctly. That is, even when they have record that you did it, the carrier will not understand what they are to do with forwarding. You could go for weeks wondering if maybe you just don't have much mail and then make the discovery that you could have missed important letters. Never, ever depend on USPS. In the shortest time you can detect, if you're not getting the junk and old contacts you used to get, get on it quickly. Because USPS will not get it right even if you did everything right--and you will have to make sure they do correct it. They won't realize (or care) until you do. Totally dissatisfied. I don't need post offices mostly now, except for things like a change of address--and only because dysfunctional USPS online would not let me do it. So this entire agency is no longer, in my view, good for anything.

Went today with my sister and the place was good but we were waiting in line and my sister asked someone there about getting here passport and she asked the guy and was rude to her he said "I don't know ask her" meaning the other employee who was nice he was very rude and shouldn't work there if he had that attitude.

Upland Post Office is always a pleasure to deal with. Most of the counter staff have been there along time. They are always pretty friendly, and they are good at finding things that might have gone not out in the next mail.
