I've had a mailbox with Village Postmark for over 3 years, it's a nice location with reasonable hours.
It's great to see the improvements made recently with the new owners. They're energetic, helpful (above and beyond actually), and have made the place feel welcoming with great new services.
They now added email notifications whenever they receive a package for me, which is very convenient. Alex even helped walk me through forming an LLC and getting a federal EIN number, which was easier than expected.
I've shipped stuff, received many more, and they give service with a smile. What more can you ask from a mailbox service?

Came in to set up a digital mailbox and get something notarized. The offer lots of other services, it's a one-stop shop! Cute spot in a super convenient location. The new owners are also super nice and helpful!

I was weary to come in, but it was the most convenient and I learned they had just recently bought the business!

I decided to open a PO Box due to school and village Postmark was the closest to me when I googled it. Alex, the person at the front desk, was so kind and patient with me. He guided me through the process and in no time I had a PO box!

I have been using Village Postmark for both my business and personal needs for years. I can always rely on this company and they are always really helpful even when I have tons of packages to pick up. For all the bad reviews that I've read on this, they all take things too personal. People complaining about a passport picture and being lectured about their employer in the previous reviews are probably miserable or don't have a sense of humor.

I agree with the other reviewers who said the owner here is unhelpful, rude, and condescending. I had to get forms notarized for my remote job, and she didn't want to notarize them because she felt it was outside what a California state notary is authorized to do, which is fine. If she'd just said she didn't feel like she could do that, apologized, and let me go, I wouldn't be writing this review. However, she insisted on lecturing me about how my employer was probably not legitimate and said I had just asked her to do something illegal. She told me to "keep my eyes open" and that my employer would get shut down if they were ever audited. My employer that I've already worked at for a year isn't even headquartered in California, so they're in a different jurisdiction and just recently went fully remote, which she might have found out if she'd bothered to ask instead of subjecting me to a five-minute lecture before letting me leave. I think she assumed I was a 19-year-old kid from The Claremont Colleges because I'm petite, but I'm actually a 32-year-old woman who can take care of herself without being talked down to by someone who runs on assumptions. I ended up going to the UPS down the street and they notarized the documents for me. Just save yourself the trouble and go there for your shipping and notary needs.

My husband and I went to get a passport picture at Village Postmark, BIG MISTAKE AND WASTE OF MONEY. I should have walked out when the long hair old women said "I take GREAT mug shots" yikes the picture was completely washed out and blurry. I took one look at it and said WOW you weren't kidding about great mug shots. She should work at a prison, she has the perfect personality for one. She missed her calling. Needing a PP pic today l, we went to The UPS Store Claremont, they offered 3 different photos to chose from and it was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them. Thank you Phillip at UPS. And Phillip also said the photo she took would have been rejected bc I was wearing white.

Will only payout checks for money transfers does not keep cash. Will take cash payments of course. Terrible service and wasted time coming here to learn their preferred business policy
