I couldn't say enough about this wonderful preschool! After touring several other schools in the area, I knew this was the one the moment walked through the gate. The play yard is beautiful! You see butterflies flying around, there are gardens that the children help grow, and there is lots of space to play and explore. Each classroom is beautiful! They are all so unique, creative and very clean. My children didn't want to leave and loved it immediately! Both of my children attended the Preschool and every teacher that we have had there has been exceptional! All the staff are so genuine and kind. They educated, show professionalism and truly invest themselves into every child. Jeri, the Director has so much knowledge. She is a wonderful resource if you need any advice, and is always happy yo help. Her passion for children really shows. She genuinely cares for each child, and truly wants the best for them. We really loved the school's learning through play approach, and my children have gained so much from going there. They both grew in ways that I had never had expected or imagined! The Preschool at CUMC is a true gem, and I'm so thankful that we found it!

We registered our daughter and in light of the recent shooting in TN we emailed the schools director asking about the protocol (we also emailed our older children's schools / all of which responded the same day )A week later with no response we called and they were pretty rude and annoyed about the question and relayed that there's no actual plans in place or procedureBig difference from our daughters pre school at seedling that has a plan in place and drills that the kids are familiar withAnd my sons elementary school at chaparral in claremont that also has plans and a procedure Unfortunate but I would not go near here if you want your child going to a school that has any sort of preparedness or plan in place , their stance is "if someone's going to get into a school they're going to get in" - understood but a mad scramble and chaos vs preparedness can go a long way Plenty of better options that also have lockdown drills, trainings and procedures in place

This review is long over due. I try not to review on Yelp as there may be mixed emotions in using this product, however Yelp can be great to receive general information for individuals that might not be not knowledgeable about the new area they live in. With this said, there are several "preschools and toddlers programs" with Facebook only accounts which are really just daycares and state they are preschools and/or academies in Claremont. As a parent, I feel a preschool should be NAEYC accredited and must be stated on the school's website or asked upon entering your child into your chosen preschool program. With this said, my kids have had the opportunity to attend the Preschool and I cannot give enough praise and "thank you's" to the team from their professionalism to their customer service. My kids have flourished in growth, and all in a safe and healthy environment! During COVID-19, I was very reluctant in attending the preschool however with solid procedures and policies in place my kids can continue to grow and learn with a balance in having fun with friends. Here are some takeaways... Pros 1) NAEYC Accredited Standards (Only 10% in the U.S.) 2) Children are growing in a positive environment to develop and learn 3) Modern methods of active learning 4) Always changing with new skills and creating patterns 5) Encouragement to get to the next developmental stage and valuing each child's family, language and culture Cons 1) Very Very low turnover and hard to get into program 2) Customer service and this is due to a small front and back office team who will most certainly answer all your questions in record time.

Both my boys (one graduated and another current) love their teachers and can’t stop talking about them when we are “safe at home”. Love the videos and songs we have seen to keep us going!

Amazing!!!! Let's start this off the best way possible. My daughter has been attending The Preschool for a couple of years now and she absolutely loves it there. She always looks forward to going to school rather then saying she would rather stay home. The staff are all super amazing, from being very sweet to nurturing and accommodating. Your are always greeted with a warm Smile and a Good morning by the Director Jeri or by Mrs Laura. The play ground equipment is always being updated, the gates are always secure and your child is always accounted for. I can always leave my daughter there for the day knowing she will be well taken care of and well loved. The activities that they do are always so much fun that I wish I could stay and participate rather then go to work. My daughter has learned so much from the staff with there curriculum and fun ways of teaching/learning. This school has many activities such as the fun chili cook off, the hoedown and even a silent auction you attend at the end of the school year. I could go on and on about this school but i recommend you check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Huge shout out to the Staff. My family loves you guys sooooooo much. We have not had the pleasure of having my daughter in every classroom but each teacher my daughter has had she has fallen in love with.Mrs Emily is always smiling, always so kinda and sweet.( she always dresses up for every occasion.I.E Minnie Mouse for Halloween, all green for St Patrick's day etc) Mrs Marta and Mrs Erika from the green room are so sweet, they too are always greeting everyone with a smile. They are a couple of very kind hearted and loving individuals that my daughter has Had the pleasure of being taught by. And my daughters current class room the yellow room she has Mrs Chris and Mrs Irene again both very kindhearted individuals that help make my daughters day so special. Knowing that each child is completely different the staff members are always willing to do the best they can to cater to your child's needs within reason of course.This preschool is near and dear to my family heart so come check them out.
