I have always loved Stater Brothers. It's close and convenient. And carries things I sometimes cant find at Walmart. Plus everything is not locked up behind cabinets. I just dont have the time time to wait for someone to unlock a door for everything I need to purchase. It's well organized and clean. AND most important, there are NO self check out isle. Please stay as you are. Don't fix something that is not broken. It's perfect.

Very clean market meat area excellent selection the butchers very helpful to answer any questions you have highly recommend the marinated chicken to bbq outside.

Not safe!!!!
Do not bring your family here! The staff will not speak up. Unbelievable!
Been coming here for more then 30 years, I usually go an hour before closing, in the past the service has been ok. The only thing that needs a better system is the produce, however that is not has upset me enough to decide to never buy from this store or any if the stater bros markets again. At check out my debit card was declined several times. And i could see and hear the cashier getting frustrated at me. As I asked him to run the card another time. As he was telling me he already ran it, I told him to run it again knowing I had funds in my account. As I was telling him this another employee of stater bros. Who was off duty but in line behind me started being extremely rude and threatening to take me down. Told me he would “kick my As!” Challenging me to go outside.Talking all kind of trash. This guy said he worked at Stater Bros and he hated people like me. What irks me the most is this cashier who knows me said nothing and the box girl said nothing, as this person was threatening me. So I left the store in fear. Shame on you Stater bros for hiring such despicable employees. I did not get the employees(cashiers name) nor the off duty employees name, I left the store with out my groceries in fear of my life. I may not be anybody special but for sure Stater Bros Claremont California they just lost a great customer, who spends on average $400 to $500 dollars per month or $6000 Per year for the last 35 years. Shame on that cashier! For not kicking the irate employee who was cursing and threatening me telling me he hated me at the top of his lungs. Shame on stater bros. I will never visit this store again. Its not safe anymore. Its been getting worse over time! I will go to Vons from now on.

It is a typical grocery store, located on the border of Pomona and Claremont. I would visit this store, many times. I would come here, mostly, to purchase groceries. The grocery prices were quite fair, and affordable. The people, who worked during my visits, were helpful and attentive. Definitely, if anyone is in the area, I would recommend to shop in this store.
