Thank you, Armando and Sales Team!!! I will never go to any other Mazda dealership in So. Cal.. Most of the other dealerships in the area do not honor their Internet Pricing unless you agree to the purchase of their add-on packages. These add-ons are designed to add profit into the sale. The Mazda dealership that we visited out by the 15 FWY and the 210 FWY added vinyl door and handle protection strippings, interior seats material insurance, and an alarm system for a few thousand extra bucks. We denied all of those add-on packages and then we were given a $3,000 increase from the Internet listed price. Another dealership in Orange County played the same game of using add-on packages, showing a reduced price but then using the add-ons to recoup their profit. This is the sort of stuff that makes people not want to buy cars. This sales Scam was seen with their used cars.Kudos To Claremont…Claremont Mazda DID NOT play that game with us. Therefore, we decided to buy a brand new car because the price was right. We were able to agree on the sticker price, which was fairly priced as estimated from KBB pricing for our area. There were no add-on packages that we were forced to purchase. Thank you, Claremont Mazda! Customers do not want to play the ‘bait-and-switch’ game. This dealership appears to play fairly. I’ll be using them as my default Mazda dealership. We Love Our CX-5!!!

My experience with Mazda of Claremont was fantastic. And I give a huge shout out to Francisco Hernandez who exceeded all of my expectations in my sales experience. As a resident of Claremont, I had seen the Mazda of Claremont building from the 10 freeway when exiting Indian Hill. I had been intrigued with Mazda vehicles recently for their sleek body design and great reviews on Car and Driver. I wasn't seriously looking to buy a new car since the car I was driving was reliable. But my vehicle was coming up on six years. So an upgrade was intriguing, but not needed. I reviewed the inventory for Mazda of Claremont and the Mazda 3 models caught my eye. I put in an interest through their website and Francisco contacted me the next day with some great offers and incentives and we set a date for me to come check out the Mazda 3 sedans. On the day of the appointment, I instantly knew I had to drive home with a new Mazda 3. Francisco made that happen and sent me home with a carbon edition trim which my wife loves. Sadly, I foresee that I will not be the primary driver with my wife falling in love with the car. I really like the interior. It looks like a luxury interior for a modest priced car. The sleek exterior design makes me feel like I'm 25 again when I drive it. I love the smoothness of the handling of the Mazda 3. I set very clear parameters around how much money I could put down on a new vehicle and how low I needed the payments to be. Francisco was very understanding with me and met me at those parameters. Thank you Francisco! I am happy to say I am a proud owner of a Mazda vehicle and that is all due to Mazda of Claremont.

We came to buy a car after we made a deal with an online specialist only to find out a wrong car was waiting for us and the car we drove for an hour for was way more expensive then the deal we thought we were getting…we almost left extremely disappointed but Francisco was trying to make things right and made sure we can get our dream car for the best possible price and gave us some extra things and made it worth our time and money and we drove off with a new car! Francisco saved the day!!!

It was so thoughtful for them to send us a video of the inspection. We've never had that done for us before, so this was a great add on to your service. Thank you

3/5 star rating for a sweet and sour experience: I'll start by spotlighting those that deserve a 5/5 rating: 1). Julissa, the salesperson who helped me figure out what car to get. Julissa's attention to detail, knowledge of cars, and overall warmth made the car-buying experience simply amazing and she dispelled all of the myths and stereotypes of sleazy car sales people. 2). Charlie, a supervisor, was very understanding and supportive as well. He has been working with Mazda for over 20 years and he is great at his job. 3). Ram, the store manager, was empathetic and receptive to my negative experience and made the situation feel "right" where I was wronged. Now the distasteful part: after Julissa, my dad (who was there to co-sign with me), and myself were done negotiating, my dad and I were sent to Riza. When she arrived, she laid out that we would meet for 5-10 min to review the finances, "say yes/no to a simple question", and then sign and be on our way. When reviewing the finances, I noticed that the monthly total was not what Julissa and I agreed upon. The price was supposed to be $XXX.00, but on the paperwork, it reflected $XXX.56. Granted it was only fifty something cents, that wasn't the price we negotiated. When I pointed this out, Riza responded with "It doesn't matter. Just sign the contract". Then later, I brought it up again, and she got extremely defensive and said someone else must have put the amount in incorrectly and that it wasn't her and to "not worry about it". Then she asked the "simple yes/no question" of whether we wanted to add a specific insurance. After some thought, my dad and I declined, and that's when Riza really flipped. She started to huff and puff and then made got snarky by asking "why would you make a big deal about fifty cents but not want to fork out a thousand dollars for insurance?" My dad talked about the principle of the agreement. She begrudgingly said she would redo the contract with the right amount of $XXX.00. As she was breathing heavily, I pointed out it wasn't a personal thing by us noticing the price difference or saying no to insurance, and then my dad was about to say something and she *raised her arm* and put her hand in my dad's face and said "I know how to do my job!!". She printed the new contract and then was slamming the pen down and kept telling us to sign and then continued to slam her pen down demanding that we sign.At that point, I should have called a time-out because no one deserves to treat anyone in that manner. That is HORRIBLE customer service. Everyone deserves the right to say no.After we signed, she printed off the paperwork and handed it to me and said "good luck, you're going to need it, especially without that insurance" with the nastiest and resentful tone storming out of the room. All in all, I left that evening with a sour taste in my mouth. This was my first ever car buying experience and I *wish* I could've had a different one. I toyed for a long time whether or not to write this, but ultimately decided to share this story bc 1). It is my truth and for some sense of justice 2). My experience isn't just a one-off experience- meaning others have gone through the same horror! (When I shared with the workers my experience, they mentioned this isn't the only time this has happened. Also read Roberto G's 2 star review on Yelp from a year ago that mirrors my story) & 3). It could help a future car buyer in the future navigate if a situation like this should arise again.I'll conclude by saying that if you are interested in buying from Claremont Mazda, you *should* have a general positive experience! Ask for Julissa, Charlie, or Ram- they provide impeccable customer service and support. Honorable mention: when I returned to pick up a car accessory, Victor in the parts department went out of his way to help me install it on the new car, so shout out to him as well, proving good service does exist ther

I've been coming to Mazda of Claremont for about 2 years now and I've always had such great service here. In fact, this location has the best customer service and is so friendly! I recently took my car here for an oil change, but then found out I needed a new battery. Martin, the service staff, was so kind and had me in and out of there in less than two hours. Roy, the manager there was also very kind and very helpful! The staff here always makes me feel heard and valued. I appreciate everyone at this location for always caring about their customer!
