As a female the last thing I want is to go to a gas station where I get stopped with false claims about theft and then having to exit my vehicle. Totally not safe.I am writing to formally register my profound dissatisfaction with the recent experience I encountered as a customer at this Chevron gas station. My visit on 1/23/24 was not only humiliating but also involved what I believe were significant violations of my rights, including unlawful detention, search and seizure, and false defamation.Upon my arrival at the gas station, my initial intention was to utilize the restroom facilities. While I was inside the restroom, my boyfriend made a purchase of chips. After exiting the restroom, I briefly returned to our vehicle before re-entering the store to inquire about purchasing scissors. I needed them to remove a plastic band from my Disney ears. Regrettably, I could not locate any scissors available for sale on the premises. What ensued was an extremely distressing sequence of events. As I exited the store and returned to my car, a Chevron employee confronted me abruptly, claiming that I had stolen merchandise and demanding immediate payment. She gets close to me where I am sitting in my boyfriends car and specifically pointed at the bag of chips my boyfriend had purchased and insisted that I cover their cost as well. Her accusations escalated rapidly, and she prevented me from leaving, subjecting me to an intimidating and unwarranted interrogation. In my attempt to defend myself, I requested access to the security footage she alleged as evidence. However, she adamantly refused to cooperate, withholding any proof of her claims. Instead, she asserted that she personally witnessed the alleged theft with her own eyes, further exacerbating the situation.Throughout this ordeal, the Chevron employee exhibited unprofessional conduct, resorting to yelling and harassment. It was only after my persistent efforts to assert my innocence that she reluctantly stated, "fine, I'm sorry," without displaying any genuine remorse.I wish to emphasize that this experience not only left me deeply humiliated but also raised serious legal concerns. My rights to be free from unlawful detention, unreasonable search and seizure, and false defamation were seemingly violated during this incident. As a customer, I anticipate being treated with respect and fairness when visiting any Chevron establishment. The unwarranted removal from my vehicle, false accusations, and unjustified treatment I endured are entirely unacceptable.I respectfully request that Chevron initiates a thorough investigation into this incident, closely examines the behavior of this employee, and implements corrective measures to ensure that no other customer encounters such distressing treatment. It is my hope that Chevron takes this complaint seriously and takes the necessary steps to ensure that its customers are treated in accordance with their rights and dignity. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and in compliance with the law.

Getting here: From the 10 fwy, you can take Indian Hill north and you'll run into it on the corner of Arrow. Experience: I frequent this gas station whenever I'm heading West, and it's convenient being right between the 10 and the 210 freeways. However, my experience can be a bit hit or miss. The location is on the smaller side, so it tends to get crowded during peak times, which can be a hassle. On one occasion, I tried to fill up on my way out, but a big rig was blocking the entrance to the gas pumps, causing me to have to find another gas station to fill up at. Despite these inconveniences, I still find myself returning for its location, but improvements in traffic flow and organization make this location a lot more pleasant.

This is one of the "Extra Mile" Chevrons who shouldn't be allowed to have this name. This chevron doesn't have a working bathroom for customers. They lie about it so they don't have to clean it and spend money on supplies.

The regular morning lady, that works here, must hate her life. I've been coming here forever and its the same thing every time.. She has her shoes kicked up on the counter, never smiles or even says a thing! No "good morning", "thank you", "come again" etc. It feels like I'm an annoyance to her.. Worst customer service ever! I actually leave here feeling negative.

Closes early. By far the most expensive gas in the area. Rude customer service. No beer.

It a chevron with an extended mini market inside. It works in a pinch and is very close to the freeway. If you exit here to fill up you have a few options to choose from. You can visit the attached McDonalds or cross the street for a Norm's and a few other specialty food shops. There is not much going on in this local area. The bathrooms are clean, the pumps worked and there was windshield cleaning supplies available.

I was quite silly and forgot to pick up my change after pumping. I came back 4 hours later and the owner gave me the cash back. Was soooo helpful! And VERY honest. Something you dont get these days!

3 part review... The mini mart is OK at best. Drinks are not that cold and their monster prices are a buck higher then most other places (2 for $4 here) Normal selection of chips and candy bars. There is a McDonalds attached to the min mart, I guess this is a good thing if you are into that type of "food" Onto the heart of any gas station, the gas and pumps. To be quite point blank the pumps here suck! In the summer some of the led screens have got so tore up by the sun you cant actually see the instructions on the screen. Most of the time there is no beep when you enter a number so you have no idea if it actually took your entry. If you use any type of corporate card be prepared to have to declined, or the machine just not accept it. And dont bother to go inside because they will say they dont accept the card. Finally if you do actually get the machine to take your card, good luck getting the gas back out of the pump. Every other station I go to I can set the pump and walk away until it clicks off at full. Here you will get a couple tenths of a gallon and it clicks off. I try to avoid this place like the plague. When i do stop in here it is usually to grab a drink and some cash as they allow $50 cash back on any purchase.

This station is pretty lacking. There's a small convenience shop (not close to a full-blown Extra Mile store), it's not open 24hrs, and there is no alcohol or tobacco products. Prices aren't great either.

I bought gas at this place a week ago. After spending 50 bucks on gas, my truck wouldn't start (my battery was going bad). I coasted over away from the pump to clear room for other customers, then I went in and asked the owner if he would give me a jump start. He said, "ask someone else" and turned away. I had to call a friend to come jump my truck. What a j**** I'll not be going there again.
