Actually, they deserve minus 5 stars. I have been a customer there for over 30 years. There has been a decline in the customer service the last few years. First, There are only 1-2 tellers working at a time no matter how long the line is. I have waited in line for 45-60 minutes on my last several visits. I send the IRS cashier checks for my self employment tax. All of the previous times, I ask the teller to make it out to the IRS. All is fine, I got cashier's checks no problem. Last week, Cecilia insisted that I provide her the address prior to issuing the cashier checks. I explained to her that the address of the IRS had never been requested prior to issuing the cashier's check. She was very rude about the whole failed transaction. Cecilia refused to issue the cashier's check. I told her: I want to close out my accounts. Cecilia said fine! She then closed my accounts and gave me a check. Cecilia went to speak with the manager after closing my accounts and told me the manager would help me. I did not understand because Cecilia had closed the account and refused to issue the cashier's check. I then spoke with Kim Lam. All Ms. Lam tried to do was to keep me from closing my accounts and wasted my time. Save yourself some time and frustration: Bank anywhere else than the Claremont Bank of America.

Went inside to deposit a couple check that I needed ASAP. Before I was able to get to the window, one of the employees approached me with an ipad and said that she could deposit it for me. She pretty much deposited it the way that one would from a mobile phone. I thought, well duh, I could’ve done that on my own, but I came in to ensure it was deposited right away. She said that she was only able to deposit one of the two checks, and the funds should be available by the next morning. She then directed me to the ATM outside to deposit the other check. I was so irritated already. So I do what she says and go to the ATM. Turns out, the check that she supposedly deposited via ipad didn’t even process at all!! Nothing was in my account the next day. I ended up doing the mobile depositing all over again on my own. Now, I have to wait even longer because who knows when the funds will be available. I was SO frustrated in that I went all the way to the bank to make sure it was deposited ASAP, and yet, they ended up delaying me even more. She did nothing for me, the ATM was more efficient than her! Next time, I will refuse their help and just go straight to the window. This person that just roams around saying they could help on their ipads are ridiculous. There’s a reason we’re there in person, otherwise, I can do your job myself.

EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL NONCARING STAFF!Used the ATM to deposit a certain amount. Machine took the money and first said “counting the cash” and then said “there’s a problem with this machine”. I panicked and kept waiting hoping the money will be returned and it gave me my card not the money?! Staff in the bank was extremely unhelpful - they had closed just a few mins ago and I’m here worried about my money and knocking their door asking for guidance and they ignored me for 20-30 mins, and after a long time of knocking, a lady walked up to the closed door and said they can’t do anything as they have no control of the machines and that I’ll have to report the machine. Understandable but at least have the courtesy to go check on a worried customer and empathize with their situation and provide some genuine guidance! Don’t look at them and still ignore and walk away just coz it’s been 5-6 mins since you closed. EXTREMELY WORRISOME experience with an institution that I have my financial assets with.

I'm am leaving now. Why? Cause there is a line to the door and only one teller. What is with this bank? Only open Monday through Friday. If you work normal hours you have to go to the one in Upland on Saturday and it's packed. I will be looking in to switching banks to one that cares about their customers.

All of my Disability money was stolen from my edd account and I went into this location and they, at first, shooed me out. Then, I made them contact the customer service to file a claim and I did. Never gave me a claim number, sent me a new card from the same account that was hacked, so I went back and once again, they blamed edd and no one would help me. This bank is effin criminal. I've debated on calling local news, but I figured TikTok was another good option.

I used to come here at Bank of America in Claremont almost every weekend to help my Mom with depositing and/or exchanging money until they decided to close on the weekends due to COVID-19 concerns. I haven't been back here for a while now so not sure if they are still closed on the weekends. Maybe they lack the staff that is needed to keep it open on the weekends... who knows!Anyway, when they were open and I was here, staff was fantastic. They never gave me an issue with depositing and/or exchanging money on behalf of my Mom without her presence. Transactions were always smooth. Thank you so much for making it easy for me! I appreciate you.Hope you guys get the staff you need and reopen for business on the weekend. Happy Banking!

Everything is perfect but i just want the bank to be open every day . Because I don't have time, taking a break to visit the bank is very difficult for me, but when I have a day off to visit the bank, it is closed. I am looking forward to opening hours but other branches are 9am and 4pm. Thank you

I've probably been here a fair amount of times but rarely ever had to go inside and see someone. Long story short, I was helped by Justin Abrolat and he went above and beyond to assist me on why I was there. Informed me what I could do in the future and basically saving me a lot of time down the road. Great customer service. A+++
