This Market an amazing jewel of the community. The husband & wife/owners are always helping small vendors by directly carrying their products &/or by allowing them to do pop-up's outside the market. They carry locally crafted organic chorizo, longaniza, organic blue corn & flour tortillas, salsas & a bunch of other goodies. God bless these people for everything they do to make our community better

Sara's market is truly a treasure that you must go and visit. I found out about it from a little piece, They did on Saras on PBS which I'm sure you can access. I was greeted by the wonderful Steven, the husband of Sara! He exudes kindness and excitement to be there as your guide! There's so many special things to suggest that you purchase, starting with spinach, infused chorizo, Kernel of Truth tortillas, spices by Spanglish Asadero. The must have is the café de. 0LLA, which is infused with orange zest, latte and to finish it off. The last must have is... Any flavor of ice cream. I can't read the label but I had guava cheesecake barely made it home without eating the whole thing. Sadly, I didn't get to meet Miss Sara as she was at school studying. You MUST go to the pink Jewel!!! and pick up these unique items and more!!! I definitely will be back!'

Dope!! I'm usually in East LA and I've always heard great things about Sara's Market, after months of always passing by I finally to decided to step in and it was right before closing time. Steven is super cool and really open to conversations, I'll definitely support more frequently and I'm glad that Sara's Market is a local, successful business!

What can I say about Sara's? The parking sucks and the hours are limited, but you know what? It's a gem that's hidden along a street that cars zoom past faster than the Indy 500 sometimes. Every time I walk into this pink box, I feel like the cast of In The Heights should pop out of the back and bust out into song. I love that you can find different products from local mom & pop vendors that are trying to leave their mark. And they host different food pop ups on a weekly basis- one of my favorite things about this place. I love stopping by to try new bites and supporting new ventures. Check their Instagram for updates. And when you pop in, make sure you pick up some kernel of truth tortillas because OMG! Those are how I found out about Sara's Market in the first place.

Came in for some Organic non-GMO tortillas, Kernel of Truth. Left with that, Chicas blue corn chips and Leche brand piloncillo sweetener for café de olla. Will come back for some craft beers too. There should be more stores like this in our barrios

Great assortment of kitchen must haves and things you didn't know you needed. Their alcohol section is pretty awesome. Definitely a local favorite. Parking may be a challenge but totally worth the stop.

Perfect little neighborhood market. Great selection of beer and snacks. Love the frozen pizza and the woon dumplings and noodles. We’d be lost without Sara’s and sometimes on Sunday’s we are! The owners are lovely too!!

Sara’s market is the perfect little neighborhood convenience store. Firstly, the owners are super awesome and they’re always friendly, especially to my little dog who they know by name! The shop carries a nice variety of beer, wine, and seltzers. In their refrigerator, I discovered an amazing alcoholic tepache that is my new fave. Of course you can find household staples, snacks, and soft drinks but the real highlight is their array of local specialty food items and restaurant pop-ups! I have tried so many new local flavors and products because of this place. Such a neighborhood gem. I feel so lucky to live so close.
