I am a retired Safety Diver. I took my rare ScubaPro Titanium Quartz watch into Tic Time, to be repaired. The women I spoke to asked me what was wrong with it and I told her it was not the battery, as I had changed it twice within the last month. My wife picked it up for me after the repair and I questioned why they did not give her a receipt. Miro (the owner) told her that it had a year guarantee. I wondered how I would execute the guarantee without a receipt. I needed this for records and to know what was done to it. A few days later, it stopped working. I called and spoke to the Miro who said he changed the battery. I asked why that was done, when I had changed it and that was not the problem. I also asked why I was not given a receipt and how I was suppose to use the guarantee without it. He said he marked the inside of the watch and this was the guarantee. He told me to bring it in and he would fix it. I took it in and picked it up two weeks later. He said he gave it a "Tune Up" and there would be no charge ?????? The next day, it stopped working. I called Miro again and he said there was nothing he could do, that it was an old watch and suggested I get a new one. I told him he obviously knew nothing about diving and the fact that this was collectors watch. He tried to make the claim that whoever repaired it in the past did something to it and I told him the watch has never been repaired and only had its battery changed. Again he said there was nothing he could do. On an additional note, I had also taken in my wife's Rolex watch to get the locking clamp fixed, at the time I originally took in my watch. When I told the women I need my wife's Rolex watch clamp fixed, she said, "Well, we don't know if that's a real Rolex." This comment was unnecessary and made me wonder if she would have said the same thing if I was white and dressed in business attire. I had previously had this clamp fixed at a charge of $5. This place left the clamp bent and charged $45 for the same repair. I would never recommend this business.Estevan Martinez

Took in a Nixon watch to get a new band and they broke the pin and wanted to charge me for 2 new pins. $60 job, said it would be ready the next day, I went the next day and it wasn't ready. Took home a watch I couldn't wear and wasted two days.

I have been going to this Tic Time in the Puente Hills Mall since before my kids were born 25 plus years. For the nice watches you have in your collection this is the place to take them for repair work or new batteries. I want to go where I know they have the correct equipment, tools and knowledge to do the job right. The replacement batteries I have purchased here always seem to last for a very long time and I have always been happy with the quality of work done here.

Expansive array of watches for all tastes. Repairs/customizations are of the upmost quality and are performed in a quick but effective manner. To top it off, the prices are affordable and the staff is very kind. I highly recommend this watch/jewelry shop and will definitely be back to purchase a watch or two.
