“Found Hardy's while using another app. We found ourselves hosting a family event and quickly realized we needed to take care of the exterior appearance of our home. I got bids from several painters and Cho's Hardy's Hues and Textures. Their bid was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. It was a fair price for the scope of work. The front of our home faces west and Gets all the afternoon sun. Paint was peeling and faded and needed a lot of prep to make it look good and have a long-lasting,quality paint job. Nicki and her team did a fantastic job! The showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently and left the job site clean and neat each day.I would wholeheartedly recommend Hardy's Hues and Textures. Each time Ariel helped me, and I learned this is why everyday folks doing home improvement shop at Sherwin Williams just like the pros do. He evaluated my needs based on what I am trying to do--paint a bathroom in eggshell not semi-gloss. SW actually makes just the right paint for what I want, and Ariel took the time without pressuring me to purchase the paint. This is the smaller store down the road from the larger one that can be crowded with the pros. It is designed more for DIYers per Ariel. I didn't have to wait, and they have great hours. The color range is nuanced and way more extensive than I imagined. We'll be back for more rooms and another remodel.”

“This review is intended for Vilena Shrader, the Color Advisor at the Hacienda Heights store:My wife and I started doing some work around the house about a month ago, and the last project was to paint the exterior of our home. We had already hired a crew, so the only thing we needed to do was select the color(s). We first went to the Dunn Edwards in Covina, and when we asked for help in regards to colors, it was an employee there, that referred us to the Hacienda Heights store, as they told us about a free service offered where a color advisor would help us. So, we jumped at the chance to get some professional help and scheduled a 30 minute appointment online. The day of our appointment, we were introduced to Vilena. We showed her a few photos of our house and told her we wanted to go a bit darker. I also mentioned that a neighbor suggested we go with a 3 color scheme, and asked what her opinion was of that. She agreed, and from there, she spent the next 45 minutes, maybe even 1 hour (remember that our appointment was only scheduled for 30 minutes) and came up with 3 schemes.I'm a guy, so blue is blue to me, if you know what I mean, but Vilena has this amazing talent where she can match hues, undertones, and all of the other color lingo that ya'll use, to perfection! We bought samples for 3 schemes, then came home and painted the swatches, and moved them around the house to see what they looked like at different times of the day. I emailed Vilena several times during this process to ask her what she liked. She actually chose Scheme #2, which wasn't my favorite initially, but after hearing her talk about the contrast and pop that Scheme #2 had over the others, it made sense. Also, my wife liked Scheme #2 the best and as you know, happy wife = happy life!A few days later our painters began the project, and 1 week later, they finished and hour house looks brand new, like it was built yesterday! We now have the nicest house in the neighborhood, one that looks clean, modern, yet simple and inviting. The house wouldn't have came out this sharp without Vilena's help. I would suggest hat management starts compensating their advisors with a nice commission if the paint that is recommended is also purchased at the same store.Anyhow, here are a few before and after photos!”

“Yesterday morning I and my gal pal went into Dunn Edwards and spoke with Thomas Carlton, Assistant Manager, my gal pal is painting the inside of her house and I am going to help her, I am a retired Carpenter Working Supervisor for the County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department. I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. Good Luck and have fun, and if something didn't quite turn out, go back to Dunn Edwards show them from your I Phone, I Pad and they will be able to help you achieve your goal. The trick to this is simple, establish a relationship with your Dunn Edwards person, and you will feel much better as you go along with taking care of the most expensive thing you will ever purchase in your life... Thomas Carlton, thank you for your patience and knowledge and people skills, I and my gal pal will be coming back as once I change out all the case and base inside the house and paint all the interior of the house, no doubt we will be back for different colors as I am trying to introduce her to colorful colors for her various rooms in her house....”

“A few years ago Ken put up wallpaper in our good-sized living room. Ken did an excellent if not outstanding job, proven by the test of time over the years. Furthermore, I think he is fully knowledgeable on handling all kinds of wallpaper, including excellent thoughts on where to find the wallpaper we wanted. The Pink Painter just completed painting the interior of our home, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. “Awesome paint supply store. The store is very clean and organized. All the paints are in order. Most of them are in order of color. Customer service is really friendly, very helpful. A/C is always on, always a plus for a hot day. The process of mixing the paint is rather quicker than I thought. But, then again they are probably just good at their job. They do offer a waiting area with chair's and a table, also they offer coffee for when you're waiting.”

“Real convenient way to dispose of left over paint. A bit difficult to find what drive way to pull in to. They have a few building at the door of this cul de sac. The staff is super busy. The lady in the office was super helpful and told me where to go. The guy in the work area, he barely spoke, simply asked what I had, how much, and said put it there. This was a good thing because I drove up unloaded the paint can and drove away. Place is super organized and they do have a retail front where they sell the recycled paint.”
