The store is such a peaceful space due to the Studio Ghibli music. It is the perfect place for someone interested in unique handcrafted ceramics and wooden pieces.

During a back and forth episode, navigating City of Industry's twisting and winding service roads between 99 Ranch and JJ Bakery, we happened upon this small shop specializing in fine China and stoneware. Always a fan of handcrafted pottery and ceramics, we popped in for a browse. One hundred and fifty-one dollars later, we left with some select items. Basically, it's a shop with items ranging from $10 cat miniatures to $170+ for fine China cup and saucer sets, but an astonishing array of colors, hues, and textures are on display. We also bought a doorway banner for our kitchen to help with smoke staying out of the living areas, which happens periodically using the broiler. Japanese anesthetics are especially popular, and for good reason. The nice girl working carefully wrapped the coffee mugs and saucers in thick paper. We got our kitty a new food bowl that, like the other items, was made in Japan. Additionally, we found the website to be well illustrated and easy to browse. [Update] their Arcadia location is open, exceptonTuesdays. Finally, this little shop is worthy of multiple visits and would be a great place to buy gifts for people who love handcrafted goods.

New store I checked out while getting J&J. They have nice bowls, tea pots, mugs and all kinds of household things from Japan. Price is on higher end. I think it's a good place to get a nice gift for someone.

Thank you to the worker who let us walk in even though the shop was going to close in 5 minutes (had no idea until I whipped my phone out to check in here). It's a cute home goods shop with lots of kitchenware, household goods, utensils, etc. Everything is handmade and very aesthetically appealing (whether by pattern, colors, or by how cute some of the things were). Since these items are unique, it is a bit pricey but I believe these would be really nice as gifts. I was eyeballing the cat mugs and the little ceramic cat figurines. Definitely worth stopping by if you're waiting for your seat at Jazz Cat or something.

#3 for 2022 Earthen ware uniquely handmade, no two are alike even within a set. Get dinner ware, tea sets, rice bowls all is here beautifully laid out. The designs used enhance and elevate the dining experience in any home.
