Small office in a convenient location for us whenever we go to Rowland Heights for lunch. The bank's website have room for improvement but the friendliness and genuine help from branch manager Victoria Liang more than makes up. She always make time to greet us when we visit her branch, and when help is needed, she knows what buttons to push to help us get things done. Highly recommend for Asian customers who need more personal attention than what big banks can offer

Very thankful to have worked with East West Bank. I am working with a client for a commercial real estate purchase. Victoria Liang, the branch manager, was very professional and helpful; she provided great assistance in explaining in great details the differences between various account types so that my client can make a proper choice and opened an appropriate account. She was very knowledgeable when it comes to commercial loans. Not only was she able to provide a speedy option for my client for her needs, I was informed that the underwriting department and decision-making authorities actually all work in the branch. I highly recommend this location; I have nothing but the best experiences!

The office looks neat. However, the branch manager Victoria Liang doesn't know what she is doing on her job. I don't think she has enough knowledge to handle this position. I am very disappointed with her. Always talks too loud and keeps yelling over the phone without letting me know the correct way to do our documents. East West Bank should really think about if she can take this position.

The staff at this branch are very nice although majority of them do you speak Mandarin Chinese. I just came by to make a deposit which was very quick and they had lots of parking so it wasn't an issue getting in and out.

I just want to thank Rosemary of the loan support department of East West bank for her help. She was extremely efficient in providing the documents I needed. After explaining my predicament to her, she promised to provide the documents I needed before the end of the day. It usually takes 3 working days to process these documents but I was able to get the documents within 1 hour after talking to her. This level of service is not to be expected with any bank. However, It is precisely this above and beyond level of service that wins the customers heart. I just want to give a big thumbs up for Rosemary.

As I entered the bank, there were no smiles, no greetings and not even any eye contact from any of the employees as I was just a thin air. To my surprise, the only person who actually smiled and greeted me was the security guard! Not a very good first impression, I thought. As one teller window became available, I sat down and the lady, said coldly, 'What do you want?' 'I'd like to open a new account,' I replied. 'Do you have an account with us?' 'Yes, I do have several.' 'Let me know one and I need your ID.' I handed her both info. 'Hmmm, you have many accounts with us, why do you need another one?' 'I need a new one for one of my business.' 'But you have many already, why a new one? Why not use the one you already have?' I then became a bit upset. 'Do I need to let you know a reason to open up an account? Does my business need your approval to open up an account? This is the first time ever a bank employee asking me a reason when opening up an account! Is it because it's inconvenient for you do so or you don't know what you are doing? Should I ask another person to help me?' There was a young lady sitting behind her who turned to me and said, again coldly without any emotion, 'yeah she can do it, she can help you,' then turn away to continue her computer work. I was extremely dissatisfied with entire experience. Never ever in other banks was I treated this way and I am a loyal customer with EW Bank for over 20 years! It was obvious that EW Bank do not appreciate and value their clients. The customer service I received was very poor with no one cared about my concern and no one even apologized. From this experience, I feel that the staff, at least at this location, lacked proper training in the most basic customer service. The branch manager, the regional manager and even the upper management at the headquarter show inability and lack of competency to properly train their employees for the most basic customer service. After I was done and leaving, again the only person smiled and said bye to me was the security guard! It was very sad to see that even him had a better customer service than the rest of the staff.
