I've been shopping here for over a decade already. It has a great stock of goods compares to other Walmarts.Daniel and Jackie are great employees. They are very warm and helpful. On the other hand, Regina was unhelpful and condescending. I was returning some shirts from my online order and she refused my return and said that my return needed to be boxed & sealed, not even bagged like some Amazon deliveries. Nowhere in the return instruction mentioned this. She told me I couldn't also get empty boxes in-store for me to reuse. Those empty boxes are just going to be thrown away, why be stingy, difficult, and accusatory about it. Regina + online order return process (ie. unclear on returns should be boxed and sealed) dragged this review down.

I have come on two separate occasions to return an item. The first time I came by a little after 8pm. No one was there and when I asked around I got the response that it closed at 8p. Alright, I suppose 8p is a little early to close this area but sure. The second time I come by at 7:01pm to return this item. I walk in the brightly lit area and the lady at the register yells at me "closed!". I ask what time they close and replies at 7pm. She even told me "it's 7. Right on the dot". What? So now it closes at 7, not 8. Whenever I finally am able to return this item, it will be my last time at Walmart.

So I had a shopping experience here. During checkout, Daniel, who is a Team Lead, did not allow me to use Walmart Pay. I recently applied for the Capital One Walmart Credit Card, and I've been enjoying the 5% cashback it offers, which has encouraged me to shop more at Walmart. However, I was surprised when Daniel told me, "we don't take that here," in reference to Walmart Pay. It seems unusual that Walmart doesn't accept Walmart Pay.If Walmart Pay isn't accepted at Walmart, it feels like I've signed up for a useless credit card with zero value, especially since it doesn't offer much benefit outside of Walmart. This could potentially be a significant loss, and a like a waste of a credit inquiry and credit line on my part.

Around 9:30 PM on August 14th, my three-year-old son was at the toy section in Walmart, looking at a dinosaur toy and pressing buttons on it. A person named Eilee walked by and told my son he couldn't play there and told me just buy it go back home. When I asked why, she said it was store policy, adding that we were the only Asians in the toy section. Other kids of different ethnicities were also playing nearby, but she singled out my child. I asked why only my child, and if she could show me the policy, but she didn't respond and tried to leave.I asked her to call the store manager, which she agreed to do. I also requested her name, but she refused to provide it. I tried to take a picture of her badge, which she declined. During this time, she began recording me on her phone. I explained that I only wanted to capture her badge, not her face. Despite that, she continued recording. Eventually, I walked away, and she did too. I managed to involve two supervisors through others' help, and they resolved the issue reasonably. After checking out, I wanted them to ensure that my picture wasn't in her phone. I asked the self-checkout employee to call the supervisors. A third supervisor named Regina arrived. She immediately interrupted me while I was explaining and said it was all my fault. She claimed playing with toys in Walmart wasn't allowed. I mentioned that my child didn't damage the toy; he only pressed buttons, and many toys have "try me" features. She accused me of illegal activity for taking a photo of Eilee badge and said my child's play was also not allowed. She threatened to call security to have me removed. While Regina went to call security, the other two supervisors promised to check the security cameras. They agreed to help me immediately. It seemed these two supervisors held higher positions than Regina, so security didn't kick me out. While this was happening, there was an incident in the parking area. They took my phone number and said they would contact me tomorrow. I felt angry and frustrated. My three-year-old and I were just quietly looking at toys, and we were subjected to racial discrimination by a Walmart employee. During the encounter, Regina continuously blamed me without even hearing my side of the story. It seems that some Walmart employees need training or reevaluation.

The customer service was non-existent. I provide this rating in hopes the employees can understand how important it is to help guests that visit your local. I want to continue the existence of this location. Walmarts continue to have history of great prices but please make the experience pleasant. Some of us only have 1/2hr to complete our honey do list. Thank you

If you are in need of an item locked inside the glass doors by the pharmacy.... GOOD FUCKING LUCK!The pharmacist told me that only an employee with a walky-talky would be able to open the glass doors and I had to push the red button to deliver my message, so I did repeatedly over 20 times while waiting there for 30 minutes. I had my daughter continue to wait and press the red button while I was running around the store looking for help --I talked to one employee by self check out and said he couldn't help me because he didn't have the keys.I talked to another employee pushing a cart around. She told me about the red button again and that I needed to wait because the person in charge of opening the doors was probably busy helping someone else (I highly doubt that.. and thanks for nothing). So I walked to the beauty cashier and because she had a walky-talky sitting right on her table, but she said she couldn't help me because she didn't have the keys (but didn't bother going on her walky-talky to send someone to help). Then, I walked back to the employee at self check out asking if I can talk to the manager at that point because apparently, no one on the floor is capable of helping. He then directed me to the lady at the front checking off receipts (because she had a walky-talky).The lady at the front directed me to Customer Service, so I got there and talked to the cashier at Customer Service. I asked her, "Who is in charge of opening the glass doors by the pharmacy, because I'm there for 30 minutes pressing the red button and no one came yet?!" That's when she told another employee behind the desk to get the keys and will meet me by the glass doors.By the time I finally got what I needed, I headed for self check-out when I noticed an employee (directing people in line for self checkout that they are clear to go) had the walky-talky and a whole ring of keys...... WHERE WAS SHE THIS WHOLE TIME?! Also, why is there 1 huge line for self check out when there could be 3 separate lines where customers can direct themselves (not needing 3 employees wasting there time directing people to go the open lanes)??? ***Walmart manager, please learn from Costco on how to use your employees more efficiently instead of standing there like idiots.***Bottom line --WHY do I have to hunt down 5 different employees to get a $6 item behind a locked glass door???WHAT is the point of the red button if no one answers them???This needs to be revised to, "Walk to Customer Service because this red button is USELESS."If didn't actively tried so hard to search for help, I'm pretty sure I'd be pushing that red button until the store closes. JFC... Walmart manager, get your shit together.

Review#306....How does This Walmart receive such low ratings?! That is beyond me. If I read others' reviews, I would never have shopped here. I'm only taking a star off for the insanely long lines, but now they have opened up self check out sections. I don't understand how they got way down to 1.5 stars? If it had to do with missing shelves during the Pandemic, well....that is just inflation caused issues. I only drop by here if I can make Early Saturday AM was due to pouring crowds at any time. I used to print pics here too which were $.29 per 4*6 print prior to the Pandemic before I switched off to CVS Pharmacy's printers because there's a CVS like less than 10min of a drive from me. Like everything else, there are alternatives.

Visited on 08/20/22. I don't come here too often but when I do, I spend a lot of time circling around since this supercenter is HUGE and literally has everything. This location sells produce, makeup, gardening items, clothes, toys, and so much more. I was surprised that I saw Pokemon plushies, especially the Torchics. It is very rare to find Torchics these days besides Amazon, so I purchased the last 2 on the shelf. Surprisingly each Torchic was only $11.88, and the ones in the mall (same exact torchic) is $25! I love Walmart because of the huge savings you can get!

This "New" and "improved " store is very well organized , clean, always fully stocked and employees are generally very friendly and helpful. The store is located at the extremely busy intersection of Gale and Azusa Ave, just north of the on/off ramps to the 60 fwy (Pomona Fwy)A Walmart gas station is near completion in the same parking lot as the store itself. Walmart gas??? No issues or drama of any sort shopping at this Walmart
