“I came in to Puente Hills Toyota to get a tire, as I had a nail in one of my tires. Isaac Diaz said he would have to run it by the tire insurance. My husband explained that we were on our way to funeral and asked if they could just put the tire on and we would pay for it and deal with the insurance later. Isaac had the tire changed in record time and would not take payment for the tire. He said the insurance will cover it but he needed time to process and he knew we did not have time that day. “I had the most genuine experience with Darel G. at Puente Hills Nissan!! He was truly amazing!
Back-story: I had my son’s car serviced at a SEPARATE Nissan Dealer earlier in the day in which I experienced the longest wait for no apparent reason (3hours and 15 mins for an oil change and tire rotation and this was with an appointment)! To add further insult to injury, during my complimentary car wash, an exterior trim panel was yanked off. This incident happened this past Saturday to my son’s vehicle and my son was due to drive up north to college at 4am the following day. The service manager didn’t attempt to locate any dealers with availability of part needed; instead, he verbalized that my son had to wait until Thursday for part to be delivered up North and then for him to install it himself. I found that utterly unacceptable.
Now back to Darel G.! I went into his parts location to see if they had the part in stock which they did. Darel G. then called the other service location who was responsible for exterior trim panel being yanked off to request coverage of item. The service manager of the former location was negotiating for a cheaper price in order for Darel G. to be able provide me with the replacement part. Darrel G. promised that I didn’t have to worry and that he will get everything resolved. Darel G. then worked with his manager, Nick Meyer, to have the issue resolved. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO ANY OF THIS!!!! I walked in there with a problem from a SEPARATE Nissan Dealer and received extraordinary customer service and full resolution of my OUTSIDE issue. My son left to college with a completely intact vehicle because of Darel and Nick. So from the bottom of my gracious heart, THANK YOU!!”

“My friend's dad was selling his low mileage, 1 owner 2009 GT-R, and needed a favor to park it at my house "for a while." I was allowed to drive it. Eventually, I began to fall in love with it. The power, the handling, the praise from fanboys whenever encountered. I really wanted this car.I researched and read on the GT-R Owners Forum that S P Engineering was a GT-R specialist. Even their website showed "Turbo Alex" with Jay Leno. So far, all good.I made an appointment for a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) via their email and website. When you call their tel#, the outgoing message will tell you to email them, so don't expect to speak with live person. "If you can't email or access their website, you aren't a good fit as an S P Engineering clientelle."I dropped off the car before they open at 9am, but had to wait for their gates to open. The young man, Clemente slightly late, but very apologetic and courteous. Hey, it's LA traffic. He took my key and said Alex will reach out to me when the PPI was done. The PPI should take about 4 hours.When I returned, Alex greeted me at door. He was so cool. Nice tats, cool guy. Non-assuming. I wish we could switch careers. What a cool job to work on GT-Rs, Porsches, Lamborghinis and Audi R8 (V10 lambo engines.)HONEST ASSESSMENT: Because Alex and Clemente are GT-R specialists they gave me an honest and thorough assessment. It was not the report that I was hoping for. They photographed the damages and gave me recommendations of what servicing and repairs needed to be done. Not including the paint job, the service and parts estimate were about $18k total. So what I thought was good deal on a low mileage, carefully maintained GT-R, was actually, a lonely and neglected GT-R, needing a lot of TLC and money. Like an abandoned stepchild.So its a hard pass in this 2009 Premium. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't spend $60k on car that needed another $18k to bring it to its glory and potential. Thanks Alex for the "tough love" and honest assessment. Now let's look for a good, late model 911 Carrera GTS, or 2017+ GT-R Nismo (wink.)”

Because I'm located in Canada, Eibach cannot send me the replacement directly. But Kuruma sent me the Canada distributor info, the person who need to contact and the procedure for me. 14432 Valley Blvd, City of Industry“My 2001 Toyota Rav4 had cylinder misfires on 3 and 4. I assumed they were bad spark plugs so I went to this Carquest shop to pick up two NGK spark plugs. Brought the spark plugs home, took out the two spark plugs in cylinder 3 and 4, and placed the new spark plugs in. I realized I made a huge mistake when I looked at my old spark plugs and found they were still in good condition. I should've checked the conditions of my old spark plugs first before making any assumptions on the cylinder misfires (the issue is probably the ignition coils given that they are the only non-OEM coils installed). Brought back the two spark plugs to Carquest for return, and the lady working the front of the store said they don't accept returns on spark plugs, but in this specific instance they will. Thanks for handling my ignorance with grace and kindness, and for providing great service! Happy holidays.”

“I live in Culver City but was referred to this dealership because they were the closest Toyota dealership to me participating in the Costco Auto Program. I was hesitant to schedule an appointment with them since this would be quite a trek, but after narrowing down my list of preferred cars, I finally decided to schedule an appointment and met with Jason Lopez. What I liked right off the bat is that Jason asked me what I was looking for and legit seemed interested in what I had to say. He didn't cut me off or try to talk over me like a lot of other sales reps have done to me at other dealerships. Puente Hills has this SmartPath platform for transparency with costs, which Jason was also very transparent with - he slid his screen around so I could see the exact same screen he was working on and could see the info for myself. Based on my own homework ahead of time, I had specific "numbers" in my head for making a deal and after some time, we got close enough to where I would be happy with the decision to purchase. I arrived to the dealership at 4:30 pm and I'm pretty sure I was the last one out at around 10 pm. While I'm sure he really just wanted to get home, Jason remained extremely professional, friendly, and not once did he make me feel rushed during the duration of my visit. Once I finally finished meeting with their finance person, he even took the time to help me connect all the services, took pictures for me, and made sure I felt "good to go" with everything before driving off the lot. Also want to give a shoutout to Kim Simms in their financial services office. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and she just gave off that aura that she is really passionate about working with their clientele to make sure you know and understand payment options, add-ons, etc. I was tired and hungry by the time I met with her and was not interested in staying any longer than I absolutely needed to, and when I shared this with Kim, I did not feel like she was trying to push her own agenda. She was also very patient and straightforward with questions and concerns I had regarding various aspects of the contract, financing, and overall document security.All-in-all, I was overall very satisfied with my experience at this dealership. Because it's so far from me though and this dealership doesn't have any dealership-specific incentives to make the drive out worth it, it's not likely I'll be getting my car serviced here often.”

We have a few Hino 338's that we may soon be canceling our Penske service contracts with due to high billing & questionable repair recommendations. Went specifically for cables & drums to repair our Whiting roll-up doors. Had the cables we needed & a couple hours later, that truck was back in service making deliveries.4 out of 5 stars only because their walk up counter areas only have a small selection of their available parts and they do not offer actual fleet services, only parts.But a very good source and will most likely make them a primary provider of heavy duty delivery vehicle parts.”
