I take my three dogs here. Dr. Davis is very informative and explains everything in detail and seems to be a true animal lover. He is gentle and careful when dealing with animals.

Tell me if you went to the doctor and had a basic procedure done that you had to be put to sleep but when you were waking you were told they have no antibiotics and no pain medication you have to order that and that's going to take 7 to 10 days would you go back to the and have further work done well that's what they did with my dog

Dr. Davis is great, very thorough and very compassionate to the needs of our puppy Teddy. Nurse and assistants are very pleasant. But April is the best. She really takes care of what we need, has answers to all our questions and very very nice, kind, and very sweet making us feel like her family. We're glad we picked Summer Hills Vet to take care of our puppy Teddy.

Unfortunately I have to give two stars because my fiancé and I have had so many issues with the extremely rude receptionist April. I am sure I am not the only one. My dog requires allergy pills and she either won’t put the order in for them because she “forgot” or she will demand we jump through another hoop. The worst part is she seems to enjoy telling us no. Although the vet seems good, interacting with her is not worth it. Especially at the prices we have to pay.

I would recommend for tests & labs but NOT as primary care, or time sensitive issues like pain management, referrals or diagnosing.Great lab & ultrasound prices, they do most in house. Doc Davis doesn't have the best bedside manner and he does NOT follow up in a timely manner.Staff is polite but seem more interested in goings on behind the counter than dealing with clients.Good luck.

Dr. Davis is very informative and will give you details and options on how to best take care of your pet. The front desk does leave early for lunch so watch out for that. They are great people and are helpful!

Tried many vets in the area before finding Summer Hills. They are personable and caring. My dogs were petrified to get there nails trimmed at other places. Not at Summer Hills. My cat is now a patient too.

The receptionist Did not even explain on the phone it's was going to be $20 if you cancel the appointment .The receptionist was being very rude I didn't call the 24 hours. They need to explain to their customers that if you cancel a appointment you're going to pay $ 20. losing an appointment is fine, it happens, but your receptionist was incredibly rude about this situation but if you want pay extra for your appointment it's up to you if you want bad business.

My indoor/outdoor cat was throwing up almost every day for about a week. At first I thought it might be a food related issue and tried adjusting her diet. When that didn't work I knew she needed to see a vet. I called around everywhere and most places didn't have availability for 2 weeks to a month out. The emergency clinics were telling me there would be a wait time of 5-6 hours. The more people I spoke to, the more concerned I became. I called Summer Hills and they happened to have an opening the very next day due to a cancellation. Admittedly, I was initially concerned based on some of the recent Yelp reviews, but they are located close by and my cat really needed to be seen. I also understand that lockdown has been really tense for everyone. Both the nurse/technician, Devony, and Dr. Davis really listened to all my observations and paid very close attention to the details. Dr. Davis made sure to ask me multiple times if I had any questions for him and at no time made me feel rushed. During the conversation he explained the different things we could test for and why we would want to. Having no idea what could be wrong, I appreciated how thorough he was in his scope. I received a long list of tests to consider, including getting a second opinion on an x-ray, which was a nice option to see. I do want to note that I never felt pressured into doing everything that was discussed and there were several things I was told we could hold off on if she responded well to the prescribed treatment. While I did need to leave my cat there for several hours it was explained that she needed to calm down from the excitement of the car ride and initial exam so her levels could come closer to normal before they ran any tests. I was nervous about leaving her but Devony was very understanding and let me peak in the back to see where she would be. Devony also made sure to put my cat's blanket in her temporary holding. I can't say enough about how nice and thorough Devony and Dr. Davis were - not only in person but during follow-up calls as well. My cat is doing great now and I am so thankful we went to Summer Hills.

We could not find a vet to see our sick cat. Finally, this office agreed to see him. The vet was so kind. Explained the situation to us and made the sad situation easier to handle. Will definitely return. Doctor and staff very easy to work with. Would recommend definately.
