I don't like going to a store where the ONLY option seems to be self checkout. And if I say I don't want to self check, I get assisted by so.eone with an attitude. This is the ONLY Michael's store I've been to like this....

Tonight I had a very disappointing and disrespectful experience at the store when the manager Marissa refused to honor my 25% off coupon on a sale item, despite the coupon clearly stating it’s valid for such items and not being excluded. I pulled the coupon up on my phone and presented it to Marissa to which she responded in a very condescending and rude tone “over two dollars?” It’s one thing to correct me if I’m wrong and let me know the coupon isn’t valid on the items I’m purchasing but that was not the case as I’m very familiar with Michael’s coupons/sales and checked all the exclusions prior to coming into the store. Her refusal and mockery was frustrating, it left me with a very negative impression of the store’s customer service especially since she was a manager being rude over such a small amount. I hope management addresses these issues to ensure a better experience for customers in the future by properly training employees.

I bought some little containers/ jars. If I ordered them online they would be $12 including shipping. But at Michael's they're only $2 to $3. They're the exact same jars as the ones online.

DO NOT trust their UPS service run by the employees of Michaels. Once I received my packages, they were tampered with; original packaging not in tact and taped over as though they opened them to check out the contents. Terrible!!!

Love those Michael's store! Super sweet staff, EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS ON A HUGE SALE! Quick tip for this location - An item is never the price it actually says on the tag. Even if there's no sale signs posted, and no discount on price tag, it's still more than likely NOT the price listed on price tag. Ususally everything is cheaper than listed. I purchased what I thought was about $79 worth of regualr priced items (no sales posted & price tag was reg price) but at the register my total was only $32. Always a great experience!

I bought a hi temp glue gun and hi temp glue and they were sold out of my first choice for hi temp glue so I went with my second choice.

Michael’s is great. They have everything and at low prices plus they email big coupons constantly! Usually 30-40% off or $10 vouchers. I have never been a crafter but I went there one day for floral and looked around and found a lot of inspiration. Now I’m there all the time supporting my painting hobby and it’s been very therapeutic!

this is the third time I've gone into this store and felt like there is no one there who wants to assist me. Since putting in the self check out, there are few cashiers available. The one I spoke to today was resistant to answering my questions or giving me help. when I went into the store, I walked to the frame department, and before I could ask my question I was told that they probably couldn't help me even though it was a simple question about where to look. When the signage all over the store in the frames section was two for one. I assumed incorrectly that my frame was any two-for-one. at the counter i couldnt get help to figure out which frames were on sale without eye rolling. When I asked, could somebody bring me the frame that I needed more eye rolling is what I got. It seems that the management at this Michaels is not interested in training their employees for customer service. I am old school and from a time when people actually did want to serve the customers. Now that we have everything automated, maybe the management could look at their employee communications. I don't think I will be returning to this Michael's. though I did see some kindness of your employees to one another so I know kindness is possible amongst them. One was even willing to go back to the back of the store near the frames and bring the counter salesperson her drink. when I had to go to the back of the store to retrieve the second frame that I needed, there were a couple of employees, kindly talking to each other, and not to any other customers. We really are on our own as customers.
