Frustrating. It's unprofessional to never answer the phone - people need to get in contact with your associates and if you're anything like me who has to drive half an hour out of my way to pick up my order at this location, then it's extremely inconvenient to not be able to speak to a living being regarding my pickup. Do better.

Customer service at this place is very bad. Employees don't even recognize you as a valuable customer, also they are not aware of the program that Lowe's are offering and they blame it on you that you don't know. I am a regular at this and been shopping here since I purchased my home and doing renovations or even to buy appliances, and last time I purchased a laundry set online using buy now pay later program (payments program), Synchrony bank put a hard inquiry on my credit and when I went to pick it up the representative mentioned that she will need to cancel the order as they don't have it in stock and I can choose another product and just by scanning the bar code I have I can use that program, same representative clocked out 5 min after, by the time I chose another laundry set and went back to the pick up area I was let known about that, then a cashier by the name of Justin I believe came to help me and told me that that barcode doesn't work and that she lied to me, and asked me to re apply, so I applied again for that program which put another inquiry on my credit. When I showed him the receipt he took forever trying to figure things out and got in on the phone for a while with IT and then mentioned that he can do it as it is showing that it is not in their store, I asked him to add it to the inventory using part number and serial number but he mentioned he doesn't know how to do that, and as I am in IT working in system administrations I tried to explain to him how POS systems work and how he can do it but in front of me he clicked on cancel order and then said oops it looks like IT canceled the order, btw IT would never do a thing like that just so people are aware. I cut him on a lie and asked him to call his manager, no manager showed up but an employee with the name of Mike and has a title of assistant manager which didn't even acknowledge the mistakes they did and tried to explain to me a different program (lease to own). Long story short, after two inquiries on my credit and two credit application I still had to pay on store to get the laundry set which they didn't even help us taking it to the pickup outside. I spent thousands in this store and it is time to go check the Home Depot store in Carmichael

Extremely understaffed even during the week. The 90 day return policy is a joke if the store can't handle returns. I bought a set of drip pans then realized their universal size didn't include my stove. The set was unopened, I had the receipt, I waited half an hour with only one associate working (they couldn't actually help 3 people in front of me either) only to be told that my item is an appliance and had a 48 hr return window, and I was at 5 days. WTF! Apparently appliance accessories count as appliances (I doubt it) the associate has insufficient training, insufficient help, and apparently no manager support.

When we purchased our house more than 10+ years ago, we changed everything inside and out. We added another bedroom on top of it. So, we got about 75% of building materials in Lowes here in Citrus Heights. The people who helped me whenever I pick up my order was helpful and they are more customer service oriented.For the last 3 months now, we replaced our patio cover. So another going back and forth to Lowes and Home Depot. We noticed HD are more accomodating and friendly so we tried to buy the materials there. And true enough, Lowe's proven their member are rude and unfriendly. Today, my husband is trying to return 3 items. He came back on the car immediately so I asked him why the item wasn't return. When driving back home that's when he told me the lady in customer service made him mad. He keep on repeating the word she used "first of all, you cannot return it because it's past 90 days" . She did not even look at the receipt, (the other item doesn't have receipt). He said she talked to him like a child. He was mad so he just left. When I looked at the receipt it's not even 90 days, so I told him to go back and I will deal with it.When I went in, there's one lady cashier called me. I said I want this return my husband came here to return this but there's one "nasty" lady who doesn't want to help him. She said, oh the man tried to return this and I am not nasty. So, I said so you're the one and yes you are nasty. It's not even 90 days , ( he bought it Aug 30) and I said you did not even look at the date on the receipt. She finished and I said next time "be nice".!

I like this store. Almost they have everything I need. They match price with other stores and customer service is good. Sometimes they don't have enough associates.

Came here to get some shelving, brackets, and other hardware. We are doing little projects - new office and converting a closet to a pantry. The store is quite clean and has pretty much everything you can think of for home improvement. Also toward the back they have a pretty large selection of marked down appliances and then in the very back there is a large clearance section, be prepared to dig because there's just so much back there.I wish I could give more stars but we had to wait so long for someone to help us get our lumber cut. After about 15 minutes they did call over the PA for someone to help us. The person didn't come but Myles saved the day. So friendly and professional. We had a nice chat about the day and the projects we were doing.He shared with my wife and I that he and his wife have a baby on the way - so personable and kind. After he confirmed the measurements he cut everything super quick and asked if we needed anything else. Myles thanked us for coming in and rushed of to save the day somewhere else.Lowe's please take care of Myles since he takes care of your customers.

This store is out of touch. The music over the store wide speaker system is so load that you can hardly hear yourself think. Especially when I'm in there trying to think through a project and what's needed to make home repair/improvements projects happen. Most customers are older more mature people who don't want their brains rattled by loud playing funk, rap, and hip hop music. Secondly, the registers are closed most of the time, so they herd customers to the self checkout line...which eliminates the human to human interaction. My guess is that whoever has control over managing the store environment has made the shopping experience painful and stressful at Lowe's. Inventory is also lacking on many occasions, so I'm finding myself going to Home Depot instead of subjecting myself to a bad shopping experience at Lowe's.

Fine place to go get small stuff, screws, bolts, some plants. Not the place to go for large appliances. They totally screwed me with a refrigerator I purchased. They tell you your items will be delivered on a certain day from this time to this time, and items won't show up. They did this to me and to a friend and they just tell us that the item didn't make it on to the truck and they don't bother to call you to let you know so you don't waste half of your day. When the refrigerator was finally delivered 2 weeks later, it arrived with major damage (after getting the runaround for two weeks!) I spoke to a manager by the name of George, he could care less about anything. Didn't even bother to say sorry once. Feel like the employees cared much more than he did. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Best Buy for any large purchases.

I like this place.. it's easier to find help to get things..I said easier not est however I feel like the have more employees here to help you..The prices are similar to other hardware stores and parking here is usually good

I was in there a while back and was actually very impressed in the electrical department I think his name was Ken there was another young man there these guys actually knew what the heck they were talking about actually helping customers it was amazing beautiful thing Lowes keep it up
