Joanne's has recently moved and been remodeled, and I like most of the changes. The staff however, have had a distinct drop in the level of helpfulness, attitude and cheerfulness. I was there recently, and the two I spoke to were surly and unhelpful

Don't bother with Joann's anymore. The rumors seem to be true. This business is bankrupt and going out of business. It would explain the empty shelves and the hassle to do returns without receipts, even though you have a card etc. and then a manager has to approve it. The cashier started in January of this year and she wasn't even trained on how to do returns because apparently cashiers can't do them anymore. Big red flag. I've been a part of a few store closures and this is one of the classic signs...do yourself a favor and just wait for the clearance sale. It's probably gonna be in just a few months. The manager Mary seemed absolutely checked out and not willing to help. She saw me trying to do a return as a hassle and an inconvenience.

Service was bad only two employees there was a big line of customers waiting just to be helped and she did not want to go look for my item in the back

The white woman with rainbow bandana thing has rude customer service as well as the female manager. This was my first and last time in a Joann store.

All staff were great today, but Sage took things to a whole new level, working two registers at once, cheerfully, exceedingly competent, & blazing FAST! Every business needs at least one Rockstar employee and Sage is all that & more.

Great inventory, but this branch seems to be perpetually understaffed. On average, waiting more than 20 minutes to get material cut or to checkout is ridiculous. Please hire more employees to reduce the immensely long lines.

Not enough help at 5pm on a Monday! 8 customers in line. 1 cashier, he was very good. But still only one! With a huge 70% sale going on 2 weeks before Christmas. Only one woman working in the fabric dept. Offer jobs to customers that know the store and knows how to sew and craft! You have a big beautiful new store but you gotta do better with the service. I waited and got good deals but it was not pleasant waiting that long in line.

Came into the store for some fabric last night. It was around 8:30 and the old bvtch at the front was very rude to me and told me the cutting counter was closed. I also asked her where I can find some screen printing supplies and she just wasn't having it.. I can tell she hated her life but you don't have to take it out on the customer! ( This was my first time ever shopping here )

I would gladly pay more if JoAnn would put more employees on the floor!!! The employees are doing the best they can. But 20 people on line is overwhelming for everyone! I wish another fabric chain would open and give JoAnn some competition!

This store really continues to UNimpress me. Came here to buy fabric and it was 7:30 and they told me that they were to busy and shut the fabric cutting counter down. Yet they close at 9:00pmI complained about this because it's a fabric store and that's why I was there giving them my business. So there girl was really put out and irritated and rude as she cut my fabric. Very rude ! The girl at checkout was just as rude. And I don't think anyone that works there like the job.And the last time I visited this store, I had the nearly same experience with the employees at cutting counter very rude, when I changed my mind, on one or two yards of fabric. She literally made the statement ( you said one yard) .But the kicker is they charged me 9.00 more than the prices were, and I noticed on the receipt and had to go back inside and explain. And then they return my 9.00But, over charging is a very big deal with me when it's 9.00I think this store should start all over with new employees.

Love this store EXCEPT LAST NIGHT AT 8:00 that’s one hour before the store closes along with three other customers who were shopping for fabric as well were told they stop cutting all fabric buy 7:30 . 7:30 ! WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY OPEN FOR IF THEY ARE NOT CUTTING FABRIC ? So I asked why it isn’t on the web site or even public knowledge . I’d wasted my time as a mother of a special needs child I’d hired a sitter and wasted my gas , time , and money for NO REASON ! The other people were equally upset they’d wasted time money and energy going to that store last night . So please either post when you stop cutting to save the people who spend money with you aren’t wasting their time . We were all told come back tomorrow ad if our worlds revolves around them . What kinda company runs this way . It’s like going to dinner and being told sorry we’re not serving food but we’re open and hey come back tomorrow . ImShocked !

Best Joann in the Sac area! Newly renovated and has the yarn wall! Plus I think they may have more inventory than some of the other stores
