After reading some comments here I was reluctant to go to this branch. However my experience was nothing less than awesome. Thank you Tatiana for an amazing and welcoming experience. She also helped me with other questions not related to Citi Bank, I was confused on where to write information about my account on cashiers check that I needed to take to other banks.

Citibank is great to bank with but if you want to use their app, it is the worst. It is out like every other day. It is ridiculous. It's really sad and today's world of all the technology that they cannot seem to get it together and this is not a recent it's been going on for a really long time like a couple of years. I bet I hear from no one on this time.

Horrible. Got sarcastically lectured by Michelle about how deposits work. I can not even talk nor answer properly even if I know, being a retired banker, what she is talking about. Citibank NY wasn’t like this. After her loud and aggressive lecturing I just said thank you and hung up on her. I’m in the process of transferring all recurring payments and deposits to another bank with several local branches. Closing savings, checking, IRA and even credit cards issued by them.

Horrible Branch to deal with. There is no other Citibank close to where I live so I have to drive 40 minutes just to make a large deposit. Prepare to get lectured sarcastically by a staff if things won't work out fine. Very defensive and aggressive. After being a customer for decades, I am saying goodbye to them - direct deposits, savings and checking, even Credit cards issued by them.

Just find out they won’t take cash for their own credit card payment. Apparently I miss the message they sent out a few months ago. I had to go to my other bank to get money order to make a payment. Very idiotic idea of Citi. Who knew a bank wouldn’t take cash, isn’t that the purpose of banks? I was lucky my other bank give 3 free money order per month. Thanks for wasting my time Citi.

Manager Lady refused to cash my check which is a CITI bank check. I find it odd that she used a lame excuse saying the check needs approval code. It’s a check from work a corporate world wide company that works with citi very strange and unprofessional.

A few years ago there were some mistakes made on my account that were very frustrating. After countless calls, I’ve always received very unhelpful assistance over the phone. I was basically done with Citi Bank and ready to close my account. However since I have been in the branch the last year or so, I have received exceptional service from Michelle Brown and one of her bankers. Despite there being a large gap between my last two visits she remembered me and was extremely understanding and patient with the issues I was having. She made me feel welcomed and I appreciated her dedication to finding a solution and resolving the matter at hand. Both times I was able to leave the bank relieved and happier. There has been a huge improvement to a few years prior when she was not at the branch.

I am shocked and at the interaction I have had with the staff at this branch. I feel taken advantage of and mistreated. To say that I am furious would be a gross understatement. Manuel Vizcarra is grossly Inadequate as a Citigold Wealth Management representative. You know what they say: it starts at the top. I escalated my very serious complaints involving mismanagement of my accounts to Brett Longfield, a VP. He couldn't care less. This is appalling. Take your business and your money elsewhere. These guys are low class, low budget, and can't be trusted.

We have been clients of chase bank for 20+ years and Citi bank had a promotion for new clients so we decided to give them a shot. The bankers here are so friendly and helpful! I have even come in close to closing and they have stayed over to help! Highly recommended bank!

Been using this branch for years and never had any problems. Most days there is no line, even when there is, they move it quickly. A year ago, we had to pay in cash for a new fence and I came to withdraw, they did not have the full amount in their vault so the manager called another branch and helped me get the full amount to pay the fence company that same day. This is an example of how they solved a problem and accommodated my needs as a customer. When I came to change my name, the banker was very accommodating with my and my husbands busy schedules and found a way to get all the paperwork done in a reasonable time frame with each of us coming at different days to complete the paperwork.

I wish to take a moment out of my day and recognize specifically TWO employees at this Citibank branch in Citrus Heights. Boomie (Primary Admin Teller), and Monica (Branch Manager). I had opened an on-line account, with the expectation of receiving a monetary bonus, upon meeting the 3 month requirement of the promotional offer. I didn’t see the bonus in my account. I initially went to a different branch, was told by the teller there, it’s actually 180 days, to get the bonus! 1st 3 months to be given “ample time”, to deposit additional funds, THEN the additional 3 months takes place. So, after the 180 days up, I received a tax form of some sort from the Citibank headquarters wanting to make sure that I was a legal citizen(?) It’s called a W-9 form. I had completed it, and brought it to s different branch, closer to my home. Anyways, problem was opening the account on-line, as the physical branches do not interface with the on-line membership/account platform… I was going on 8 months now, with this situation. This is where Monica was able to reach out, escalate to the proper dept, keep me informed on a weekly basis, until this was favorably resolved on 11/25/22… Boomie was EXCEPTIONALLY patient with my situation, very empathetic, and KNOWLEDGEABLE about how best optimize use my funds, with detailed explanation of the account tiers. Had it not been for the GREAT customer service I had received at this branch, I am MOST certain, I would NOT have been finally issued the promised bonus. Ask for Boomie, or Monica, when you vsusir this branch…The other tellers appeared very competent, but I definitely have my 2 favorites now (I’ve been told to give Citibank a poor rating, by my peers, I can’t do that. This branch went above, and beyond…to get this matter resolved! THANK YOU!
