I have been coming here to get my haircuts done for about a year now. First of all atmosphere is lovely such as the employees and Anne(owner). I love how everyone gets along good and helps each other. A great example of how a work environment should be.
Israel does an amazing job!! I’ve always had long hair with layers and this time I decided to go short and he did an amazing job like always!! I appreciate that he is honest and gives you his opinion/suggestion before getting the haircut done. Thank you for the amazing work.

I cannot say enough great things about Shear Salon and my stylist, Jennifer! I had a last-minute birthday appointment and they were able to accommodate me with no problem. Jennifer's service was amazing, and she was so friendly and welcoming. Not only did she make me feel extra special on my birthday, but she also worked quickly and efficiently to ensure I was in and out in no time. The end result was fantastic - my hair looked absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Shear Salon and Jennifer to anyone looking for top-notch service and a great experience. Thank you, Shear Salon, and thank you, Jennifer, for making my birthday even more special!

Stylist: Israel was Amazing, very profesional and informative. Amazing tips and so much knowledge about hair care and products. It was my first time here and he made it extraodinary.

Shear Envy is amazing! The staff is top notch, always, warm, and friendly. They greet me with a huge smile all the time. Regardless of who takes care of my (now fabulous) hair, the results are always outstanding!! I absolutely love knowing the owner, Anne, is always there to take care of any unforeseen circumstances and jump in action as well when needed! Can't rave about this place enough!!! Ps. They are now offering hydro facials.. seriously, this place is a gem!!

The worst haircut and color of my life had to do the consult twice because the stylist completely forgot what we were gonna do 24 hours later with pictures mind you. Made me wait 45 min after my appointment time to see me, then left ALL MY GREYS!!! when we specifically said to color them how it was really important to me to color my greys. Cut my hair the first day and did the consult I asked for layers and suttle highlight she gave me the laziest hack haircut when I went back the next day for color I asked her wheres the layers and she said "you wanted suttle..?" She gives me layers and they're so bad so uneven and to top it off there's a huge shelf from the top layer to the next. Essentially she gave me "the rachel..." when i confronted the lady abount my greys she was like oh come back tomorrow and ill fix it... pppfftt yea right... DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! JUST THREW 400 BUCKS IN THE TRASH!" Not the mention the trans receptionist is super rude and snooty. No thank you! Save yourself from this place.

I've been coming to shear envy for more than 5 years now and I get excellent service each time. Alina did a great job coloring, cutting and curling my hair today. I love the way it came out. And of course the coffee is always appreciated! Love the music and vibe and Anne does a great job with her staff.

My wife and daughter did not have an appointment and refused service "they are not taking walk-ins " if you go to the website it clearly states they take walk-ins. I was very upset they were refused service. This was a last minute decision so we looked for a specific salon that took walk-ins. Please note the salon opens at 10am and they arrived before 11am. Please change website details to avoid confusion

Absolutely loved my experience here! The space is welcoming and bright and the staff always walks by smiling at you. The owner makes it a point to check on you and see if you need anything. I have curly hair and going somewhere that has curly hair experts made all the difference for me. This is my new spot

I decided on the same day to just go for a haircut and see if they had any availability and they were able to squeeze me in with their pixie stylist. He was very knowledgeable and very patient and understood what I wanted. I didn't really need to use a photo as a reference for him. He just listened to what I wanted and in the process kept asking if I wanted more or if I wanted this or that. I really like my haircut. And it's different from what I'm used to. But in a good way. I will definitely be coming back in a few months.

Came in today 12/28/23 for a haircut and coloring to get rid of my red and absolutely LOVED the service I received!! Everyone was so kind and patient ! Great atmosphere, very clean and amazing vibes inside the salon. Best one in Chula Vista , for sure coming back again! Thank you Jackie & Chelsea!
