Indeed, it is a very good place to work. There’s a lot of information that they share amongst each other to help you grow. Everybody that I’ve come in contact with is very positive and optimistic. The employees take great pride, and respect with helping out members that are new to Medicare, as well as members that have questions about Medicare.

Dishonest, unethical, lack in morals. They don’t keep the senior information confidential. They have a company with a different name working there just to keep a contract with BlueShield of California because they were released from a contract (SBHIS). Blue shield needs to look into the compliance issue here. Elizabeth Serna is not professional takes things very personal and the lack of employees that can work with her is proof. I am honestly concerned for the SENIOR COMMUNITY because they are taken advantage by so many people and companies, please elsewhere for your Medicare needs.

Sounds like they have issues of dishonesty and being unethical especially working with the SENIOR community.

I got into insurance because I have had stage 4 cancer while in University and know how important it is. I was originally hired for 25 per hour in Riverside and they Changed the contract to career. I decided to take on the challenge and studied for my AHIP and passed. 2 times In March and in July. I had NO money at the time but I needed to move out from my parents and yet they knew my Dad was a Doctor in Hemet and they didn't train me how to go Door to Door Canvassing for doctors like my new company and Aflac has but they expected my dad to just give me Medicare Leads even though my dad was retiring and sold his Practice in the summer I started Medicare. They gave me an Upline that was in Chula Vista even though I lived in Riverside County. They wanted me to work in Hemet because my dad was from Hemet even though MY Professional Business Groups were in Riverside and I lived in the Temecula Valley. I became employee in Chula Vista and received the BEST Training ever and was commuting from Riverside. However their Numbers were not realistic for a new employee still in training. The CEO had no Morals or Remorse when she Fired me for sales and did not count the Week we spent at a conference, The 2 weeks we had training for new plans, and did not take in consideration that I was commuting from Riverside and was on Time every day even though I worked in Chula Vista. They FIred me before the Open Enrollment knowing that all the Marketing space back home was already taken. They then took away my career contract and forced me to independent so they did not have to sponsor my events. The CEO considers herself a Shark. She does not care if you have to work a 2nd Job, Uber Drive, Deliver Pizza. All she wants is numbers and even though you took the time to do all the studying spent allot of money she will get rid of you. She did not care I got my business license and was even almost about to get a 10K Business Grant when I went employee before she fired me again. None of that matters to her. Only Sales. Last I heard was Alignment Healthcare stopped their contract with SBHIS to investigate them.??? I have several sales with Aflac and starting contracting with the new Medicare company. So Far I really like them and they have a Real office in Moreno Valley. SBHIS has an office inside of Cardenas which is smart but I don't speak Spanish.

This company is a joke! They pretend to care about you & your needs but are just interested in THEIR bottom line with no regards to keeping your information safe. They prey on Medicare recipients do run as quickly away as possible.

I would not recommend SBHIS. It took 5 months to get my insurance completed. Now I am working on my friend's insurance. It has been six month of passing the buck. These people do not have a clue about insurance. They screw up and then make you jump through hoops to correct their mistakes. My agent has been missing in action for a couple of months and nobody can cover for him. So you will be waiting. These people SHOULD NOT represent Medicare they have no clue and waste your time and embarrass themselves talking to Medicare.

I love SHBHIS. It is NOT a scam. It's completely unfair that people's ignorance could affect a company's Yelp reviews and image online. This is a legitimate company. It is meant to assist seniors in picking out the best health plans for their needs, and the agents are extremely friendly and inviting. Best of all, their services are free to the clients! They get their funding from the insurance companies. If you are 65 years or older or have family members who are, I'd suggest definitely checking them out. My family has great experiences with this company.

They made a compelling pitch on TV. It sounded too good to be true. I called them, they farmed me out to a Mutual of Omaha rep Sudha Shan. I asked her 4 times if there was any additional cost. 4 times she said "no". As she was talking, I pulled up the plan and you guessed it - $74/mo more. Buyer beware. They may try to scam you too

I received an unsolicited call from this company try and sell me health insurance. When I asked them where the got my telephone number, (because I am on the "Do Not Call" list) they couldn't tell me. So I turned them into the FCC for violating the "Do Not Call" list.
