I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this store. When I went to buy a pair of On Cloud shoes, I was told I needed to use a machine before making a purchase, which seemed unnecessary and inconvenient. After going through the process, they eventually sold me the pair I wanted, but the whole experience felt frustrating. I can’t remember the name of the salesperson, but it was a young woman. The store should consider streamlining its purchasing process to improve the customer experience.

Nice store, but very expensive! They control most of your movement in the store and there are no prices on the shoes.
We went in to look at women’s shoes. Whither you want or need them, you are “fitted” with custom insoles (no price mentioned), then out come the shoes, with no price on them.
We were shown about six different shoes, I’m sure with different price points. We found a pair that felt good and fit properly.
They tried to sell us a membership so we could return the shoes after wearing them for awhile which seemed odd.
At check out, the custom insoles were $150.00 and the shoes were another $180.00. The insoles were expected to last two years as well as the shoes. At $ 330.00 split by two years, that’s about 50 cents per day depreciation.
Now I understand the “membership” a lot better, but it’s too late. I can get custom orthotics by a podiatrist for a co-pay.
I can also find other shoes made in a foreign country, probably cheaper. Maybe look around more and don’t feel obligated after they make you very expensive inserts for tennis shoes.

I was not happy with the experience I had yesterday at road runner because I was told to get size 8 or 8,5 when my size is 7 5 W and second I was told that I will get a discount when I get a membership but in the end I paid way way too much from the amount I was told. Also without asking me they measured my feet and provided me the insulation that is very hard and I think the original one in the shoes is much better and softer from the one they provided therefore I will undo the sale and take the shoes back. I will never go back there and not recommending them to my friend.

When going to get your shoes at Road Runner everyone is friendly and helpful in particular Melo. She has help us twice and the experience has been phenomenal.

they are accommodating, know their brands, store is clean, it just takes a while to be assisted, many customers that day, need to add more staffs.

Ordered some pack leader 7 inch shorts in black at the store. Should be arriving at my house in 2 days. Nothing ever showed up. Had to make several phone calls to find out what happened. Guy says they're disconnected. Another lady says they're on back order. What a joke.
Terrible services for the money we spent there. Going else where.

I has an excellent experience at the Roadrunner store in Chula Vista. Carmen assisted me with finding the right match of shoes and provided excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning here for my next pair of running shoes.
