Very poor customer service, knowledge on how to bill insurance, and lack of procedural safeguards practices. Female employee was rude, 45 minutes behind schedule right after opening, dropped item on ground put glove on to retrieve and then used same gloves to use needle to draw blood into viles. We have used Quest several times with same insurance and never a bill. Was told to pay over $200 today when asked to submit to insurance she became semi confrontational. Not a good image for company. Do not recommend this Quest location.

There was a white woman with blond hair (that was very unkept and messy) I was worried her hair would get into the urine samples because she didn't keep up with medical hygiene by tying it up and away she was extremely rude basically kicked me a (pregnant active duty sailor) out even though I was called to the back for my appointment with my husband who has to accommodate me due to newfound medical issues I now have. She didn't like the idea of him accompanying me for a reason she still hasn't elaborated on.

Nothing on QUEST DIAGNOSTIC website stipulates that appointments only on Saturdays. Here we are after fasting the whole night and being told that they cannot accept walk ins.Furthermore, I asked for a Supervisor or a Manager and was told that there is none, and that all personnel present are just “workers”. Then I was told that “I can give you a phone number for the Supervisor and you can give him/her a call yourself”. Reminds me of the game show that there is an option to “call a friend”. How can a workplace have an operation that is organized and facilitated better during regular working hours if there is no one leading and managing workers? This kind of health services and organization dealing with human customers is VERY UNSATISFACTORY and UNACCEPTABLE!

we were all waiting just outside the door until Tornado warning happened staff came out and start to lock the front door instead of asking us if we would like to be inside to take shelter thank God nothing happened, but they have no respect for human life, it's all money business.

The fastest and nearest Quest location, which is also super convenient because it is within distance of Scripps hospital and other medical buildings, so if you have a lab orders from any of those places, you can take advantage of this Quest, although it is very hidden from the outside, you wouldn't know it's a Quest Diagnostics, I got lost and walked right pass it into the street corner of an apartment complex, but in fact it is in another building right on the first floor; walking inside it's bigger than a regular Quest and not super busy compact, even though you have a lab order from your doctor, you still have to make an appointment, if you don't have one, just have to do as a walk in, as the self service tablet always said it's completely booked up every time, and all you could do is pray you get in fast, lucky for us it seems the rainy weather made everyone staying home, and we got in just a few minutes as only a couple people were waiting in the lobby, so far so good we got out quickly.

This should be considered a SCAM. We bought a hCG test online ($70) and scheduled an appointment thinking everything was fine. When we arrived they said that the purchase hadn't been approved and we should wait 48h. After several phone calls and visits to the location, we still haven't gotten our test and it looks we will never be. This should be considered a scam. We have never had this experience in the Bay Area. If you need to get a test done, it's better you choose a different provider.Note: this review isn't about the people working in this location, which are actually super nice and trying to help. The review is in general about Quest Diagnostics.

Id give it 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option. I’ve been here 4 times in the past week and spent about 12 hours in this office….Been told they were understaffed, sent home, skipped in line, ignored, and after my third try, my employer never received the test results.Underpaid staff and inexperienced, no wonder they’re hiring STILL and only offer $19/hr to collect urine.Unorganized, I’m currently looking at a few people’s blood tests with their personal info on it, luckily I don’t have evil intentions, but it makes me wonder how careful they are with my personal information…..If an employer sends you here, just ask them if you can get the tests done at Kaiser, that’s what I’m doing since I’m not waiting another hour here.

This place is not senior friendly. They are short staffed and the employees are not compassionate about the waiting room full of seniors that do not understand the check in process, or do not complete it on the kiosk and have it “restart” and never confirm their check in. They need someone client facing to help with the larger than average amount of people over 50 that come here. It’s sad to watch everyone getting frustrated then the employees getting defensive for just doing their job

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. I made sure I had an appointment because walk ins anywhere take forever. When I got their I was able to use to kiosk to quickly check in and two minutes after that they called me in. Everything was done quickly and the staff was super nice.

I came to this facility much earlier than my expected appointment because I have to bring my doctor’s laboratory request. Also since it is my first time to come here for a blood draw. I would like to commend Diana, the phlebotomist who attended to me because she was very helpful and also took care of everything that needs to be done prior to the bloodwork. She was so accommodating and very friendly. She was also very helpful to the other patients that needed some help checking in. Great person!
