Went in for a broken chain and ended up with a new chain and another mtb. The staff was great to work with and willing to deal.
Pulse is definitely our go to shop when it comes to the mountain bikes. Thanks to the staff and we'll see you for more upgrades!

One of the best bike shops in San Diego hands down. Selection and service are both top quality. Got all my bikes from there and these guys have been taking a great care of my cycling needs and bikes for years. Will continue to support Pulse for years to come.

Be careful and do not trust on this store.
I recently bought a new Cervelo P-Series, model ultegra DI2. They sent me cheap parts instead of what I paid for. More than 30 days after complaining and they only present excuses.

I'm remote and Mike was able to work with me on getting a high quality bike at a fair price that included parts swaps to ensure I got the bike that I needed and wanted that will fit me out of the boxI was so pleased I ordered a 2nd bike from them

I picked up my bikes today (over two weeks later) that I brought in for a tune-up. When I called for an update, he said I must have input my phone number wrong and told me they've been ready. It was not wrong.When I dropped them off I began listing the things I wanted to get done and the mechanic replied that those issues were all part of the tune-up and was dismissive with me. And out of all the issues I brought up, none of them were addressed. The wheels weren't trued. The bike chain, sprocket, and axels weren't cleaned or lubed. The seat cable I mentioned, nothing. To top it all off, I've called them throughout the day to ask what exactly got done for my knowledge. They haven't answered or responded to the survey text they sent out.Charged $190 for both bikes that I truly don't see better off than when I turned them in. Don't go to these guys.

Ok guys... you guys know how I roll, I keep things !!!!So there I go on a beautiful sunny day, like a kid ready to walk into a candy store. Ready to pick up some oil for my bike chain. And looking forward to going to the store since I'm a rider. And when I walk in all 5 employees who where on the work roster that day we're busy looking busy but not doing s**** To my surprise I was the only customer in the store and simply asking the young guy working the register where was the chain lubricant located and he said to the back of the store and that's it! The guy didn't show me exactly where it was located, he was to busy on his phone! Dude really, NOT to show me where it's located, NOT to explain which ones are the best options for what I was looking for! These guys don't want talk to you, they don't care to help you out! They completely ignore you! Terrible customer service! If you are looking for a Bike store and have questions, don't waste your time going here! They don't care about their customer's wants and needs. It's like if they wished nobody would walk in. I Encourage this business to TRAIN all those lousy employees. These employees our doing a disservice to our Fellow Americans. They are failing our country and what it stands for.
