Brian and Teresa are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to income taxes. I waited until the last minute this year to do my taxes and they got me an appointment right away and took time to help me very quickly. They maintain good communication with you through the whole process and even helped me lower my tax bill this season. Will be using them from now on. They are a real blessing to deal with.

This is my first year using Pro Tax Solutions. Brian took care of not only filing this years federal and state taxes, he also took a look at past years returns to ensure they were done correctly. My state taxes weren't filed for one year and Brian took care of it right away. He was very reasonably priced as well for the amount of time it took him to work on my returns. In addition he was easily available by phone and on the weekends. I would recommend Pro Tax Solutions to anyone looking for tax preparation.

This is my 4th year in a row going to Brian to file my taxes and I will definitely continue to be a return client. I found Pro Tax Solutions on Yelp a few years ago when I was searching for a nearby office and they happened to be located on Sweetwater Road at that time. Since then they have relocated to Chula Vista, and even though it is a bit further away I still choose Pro Tax because Brian has never disappointed! The filing fee is reasonable, he's always helpful and full of information and I really appreciate that he's available even at short notice. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for honest and dependable service. He even sells car and home insurance now so he can assist you with more than just taxes! Thanks Brian for always providing excellent service!

My husband and I have worked with Brian for our taxes for the past 3 years. He is very knowledgeable, keeps up with his training and is detailed when working through the process. Our last refund came within less than a week. Brian's fees also doesn't break your wallet for his services. In addition, he also offers Insurance. I've recommended him to my friends and will definitely look forward to working with him next year.

Teresa and Brian are one of the best tax people to go to. They have always made it so easy to help out and they're helped me get a larger return with other credits I didn't know I qualified for. I've been going with them for 4 years continually and will continue to go! Great price as well! They're like the hidden little place where you know s**t is taken care of for you lol

This is my second time having my taxes done by Brian at Pro Tax Solutions. Brian took the time and made sure I had everything I needed. He was quick but thorough. I've recommended him to my friends and coworkers. I'll definitely be back again next year.

They were nice, but not helpful. We were looking for an accountant who could help us with business taxes. They were not able and we were charged anyways. I think they could have been honest and say they don't work with businesses instead of making false promises.

I honestly hate doing my taxes. It's the most confusing thing in the world to me. I use to go to h&r, but it's like they never really took the time to help me. They would ask me a few questions and then move on to the next client. I felt that I wasn't getting the best service or return on my taxes. My friend recommended me to Brian this year and I have to say.... I am going to continue using them. Not only where they efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. They got me more back on my return than h&r did the last few years. I am one happy customer! Definitely recommend them :)

Wow... not what I expected from all the reviews. I wanted to compare the service here to that of MG Business & Tax Service and Top Gun Realty which I've had an excellent and wonderful experience with before I decided to work on a new start up company. Lucky me I chose to give this place a try... and boy oh boy was it a disappointment. Other tax services quote me at $70 right off and offer a student discount at $45. MG Business & Tax only charged me $45 when I previously filed with them... $60 at top gun realty in Mira Mesa for BOTH a W-4 and a 1099-misc. This place QUOTED ME AT $120+ for only a 1099-misc to be filed. Wow... seriously. The people here giving 5 stars? Yelp may filter my reviews, but I have 1,400+ Active friends on yelp from my local area and 5,000+ views a week on my blog (which I will repost this) so go ahead and filter this yelp. I emailed them to schedule an appointment, asked about filing my 1099-misc, and briefly mentioned the yelp discount coupon. The ONLY reply from the email was in regards to the coupon and here's what it said, "How much was the coupon for? The reason I ask is because we don't benefit from it since yelp keeps a cut but we can give you a discount for the amount of the coupon." this was before I messaged them on facebook about an appointment. wow... He only lowered the price down to $70 when I mentioned that other tax services (all except this place) was offering $70 as their starting price... AND THEY WERE! There's even a coupon online which quotes $30 for $40 worth of service. I was afraid if I mentioned that coupon I'd be paying some other magical number well above $70. I ended up biting the bullet and paying $70 which I somewhat expected in the first place and not the ridiculous $120+. It's things like this that make me glad that I created "putyouonblast" so that those out there can have a jolly time skipping b******* rather than muddling in it. Brian was polite, courteous and prompt with the service. Cliffs: -Was charged almost 2x more than what other tax services charge -Only got a discount because I mentioned the quotes from other companies -The coupon online doesn't mean a damn thing because the prices they come up with are arbitrary. -I sent an email in regards to appointments, quotes, coupon and questions on my 1099-misc. Only got a reply about the coupon because they "don't benefit from it since yelp keeps a cut"

I have had horrible experiences when getting my taxes done in the past. Luckily, I was referred to Pro Tax Solutions by a friend close of mine. Brian and Teresa were able to fix my tax return that my old tax office messed up. They were able to get me refunds for both 2011 and 2012 after my old tax company told me it was not possible. Initially, I only went into Pro Tax Solutions to see if they could resolve my issues with my previous tax returns. However, after I recognized how knowledgeable, honest, and patient the crew at Pro Tax Solutions is, I realized I wanted to give them my business for this years taxes. Teresa did my taxes in less than 10 minutes and was even able to get me a refund I wasn't expecting! Like most people, I have so many questions when it comes to my taxes. I am so grateful I found a professional family owned business in Pro Tax Solutions. They care about their customers. I have been sending them emails with tax questions and they usually reply within the 10 minutes! Unlike most companies who take 1-2 business days. Thank you Pro Tax Solutions! You have earned my business for years to come. If anyone has any issues with their taxes or just wants their taxes done, Pro Tax Solutions is the place to go. They are also more affordable than any tax office I have visited in the past :)

What a wonderful family to do business with! I needed some help with some old tax issues and help to file my current taxes. Brian and his mother Teresa were more than happy to help. They took care of my taxes in a snap. They are very educated and well versed in tax preparation. With there help they helped me alleviate some tax issues. This place is highly recommended and I will be using them again from now on. The price was way under what you would pay for a commercially driven tax preparer. Thank you Pro Tax for your service!! Need your taxes done? The crew at Pro Tax Solutions is who you want to help you out. Brian and his mom really know all this tax stuff, they make you feel comfortable as they are really good people and easy to trust. Great prices and awesome service, you will not regret using them. Way better than Turbo Tax, HR block, etc.
