“I forgot to call in my husband's blood thinner meds and he was out of refills. I went to the pharmacy the Saturday before Christmas to see if they could advance a few pills until Tuesday. I've had to do this once before and the pharmacist gave me a hard time. That was a different pharmacy crew. The pharmacist this time, Aya, was extremely understanding and advanced a couple of pills. She didn't make a big deal out of it or scold me for not calling it in earlier. I was a pharmacy tech for 30 years and Aya would have been a joy to work with.”

“I'm here on vacation visiting my parents in Chula Vista and forgot to bring my medication with me. I'm here to say that the pharmacy staff member helping me on 12/29/23 was fantastic! I felt a little helpless trying to figure out what to do, but he helped get me BOTH my prescription medications within the day (I was only expecting to get one of them). No long line, no complicated red tape - just a smooth transaction and great customer service. 5 stars!”
“I have been here about 5 times since moving to San Diego. Our primary is on East Palomar but when I need urgent care, we come here. Most of the time the wait is very reasonable (45 min-2 hours) but they call and update you. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable about symptoms and what to do. All times we've gone, our prescriptions were sent over quickly and correctly.”

“"This Walmart kicks a**** I texted my husband as I got lost in this location's crafts and sewing section. It's HUGE! If you're working on a craft project, you'll definitely want to come here. There are fabrics and sewing items, embroidery tools, canvases and paint, and even popsicle sticks if you want to release your inner kid and use them. The prices aren't very bad, either. Honestly, I think it's weird this location is so lowly rated. Then, I read the comments and people give it 1 and 2 stars for the most ridiculous things. You're mad that employees aren't cheerful like disneyland employees and bending their backs to say hi to you?? Lol dude, you're at WALMART. Expect low prices, maybe find what you want and then leave lol. Something tells me maybe these reviewers probably give stank attitude to the employees. Just be nice, geez Anyway, the workers I spoke to here were super nice. When I asked for help, they were courteous and able to help me get fabric, find where a specific item is and even checked my items out quickly. This location is way out of my way, but I definitely recommend it for those in the area, especially if you're working on an arts and crafts project”

“I highly recommend this pharmacy for anyone looking to get medication. I was going to pay for a medicine that a doctor prescribed to me. Before I paid, one of the pharmacy techs told me I could get another medicine instead that's more effective and cost less. I was surprised how honest he was and willing to help. It showed they care about their customers and they are not just looking to make money. I ended up saving approximately $80 give or take. Very well pleased with the service.”

“The pharmacist Dan, literally is the man! I use to go to another Walgreens closer to where I live, and it was always a nightmare to be honest. They always made it an impossible mission to get my controlled substance script, but not this pharmacy! So, definitely don't assume all Walgreens are the same. I had an issue with one of my prescriptions, supposedly already being filled, even though I didn't fill it. Dan went above and beyond, contacting my insurance, contacting the pharmacy that the script was accidently sent to, and got the whole thing sorted for me. Dealing with insurances is such a hassle, so I massively appreciate the effort that was put forth in solving this issue.”
