Food is ok. I hardly see anyone go in there. Service can be slow. I heard from someone else their order was forgotten and they were left waiting.

Horrible Customer service! on Friday my friend and Me when to have dinner there at the rest in Otay lake! when we were done eating. The hostess came and asked us if we wanted some desert . We ordered some flan. First, he went to tell the waiter and told us that we had already paid, my friend told him to open another bill for us and then he asked us if we wanted to eat the flan standing by the bar!!! because he needed our booth! we got offended! We cancelled the order and left!! everybody else were finished and talking but we were the only ones that he asked to leave!! We are definitely never going back to that restaurant. the food wasn't that good either!

Ordered online at 545 pm, and was told the food would be promised by 6 pm. After several attempts of asking what the estimated time was, the Manager continued to not answer my question but go to the back. After an hour, I asked again, then the Manager stated my name and noticed the cooks fumbling through order receipts unsure where my order was until they started making it. Businesses should stop taking orders if they can't complete prior requests.

Very slow and horrible service, overpriced as well as horrible customer service, do yourself a favor and check out the other options in the area as the price here is ridiculous and offer zero value for a poor experience.

When you walk in, they have a fish tank which is really pretty then once you get past it, you can see the dining area and it's spacious with tvs and booths. Complimentary chips and salsa. Salsa is spicy and flavorful which I love! Salsa should be spicy not mild!! My go to is ceviche or cocktail. I really like their tostada de shrimp ceviche because the citrus flavor isn't overpowering but actually tasty. Plus they hook it up! Of course I have to get a corona in the side! Also their shrimp chimichanga is pretty damn good! Highly recommend this mariscos spot in Chula Vista.

I ate here twice in the past 2 months. The first time I got sick I wasn't 100% sure if the food here made me sick or if it was something else. But now I know it was eating at this place that has me feeling ill. I'm currently writing this review in bed. I've been vomiting, diarrhea, fever, body chills. Have the same symptoms as the last time I went to eat at this place. Ugh it's horrible! I'm just wondering if anyone else has gotten sick & no it is not Covid.

This place... sells pseudo-margaritas and won't tell you unless you ask twice. Meaning, they sell margarita mixes, and rely on that for the alcohol (so 7% maybe?), and the food is absolutely terrible. Don't order the enchiladas, it's as familiarly generic as it gets as far as rotisserie unseasoned chicken, the only redeeming qualities are the chips. Everything was terrible. Unless you come to a restaurant strictly for chips.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place today, and let me just say if I could give it 0 stars I would. We both ordered a strawberry margarita on the rocks and it tasted like they poured an entire bottle of strawberry syrup in it and no alcohol. We asked our server if we could return it and try a different one, since we did not like it. He brought us a lime margarita on the rocks and we still didn't taste any alcohol so we asked for an extra shot of tequila on the side. THAT is when our server informed us that they don't have "actual tequila" here because they don't have a liquor license. I don't get why they didn't say anything before hand? We then got our food, and I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The chicken had no flavor and looked like it was a rotisserie chicken they bought at the market. The cheese was overloaded and wasn't even melted. We ended up sending everything back. Don't come here.

Well my wife order chilaquiles with rice beans and scrambled eggs and they brought her omelette eggs and she told them that she ordered scrambled and what they did just chopped it up and put them back in the plate and I ordered the molcajete seafood and they brought it after 10 minutes after when she got hers

I tried the combination shrimp and fish only didn't want any octopus or scallops cooked very well definitely will come back.

We stopped by at the recommendation of a friend when we were in town and in the mood for mariscos. The place was crowded, but were still seated immediately. The service was a bit slow and we did have to ask several times for things, but the food was on point. We ordered tacos de marlin, tacos gobernador, raw oysters, ceviche verde, and aguachile de salmon. My favorite had to be the tacos de gobernador!!! They were filled with shrimp and well balanced with cheese. I'd come back if I was back in town, but am now excited to find just as good if not better mariscos in the area.

I don't really yelp especially negativity but today I went to dine in and keep in mind Hector's is one of my favorite spots to eat because the food is GOOD, their usual manager is very kind and attentive making sure everyone is well taken care of and so is the owner. However if they're not there the service is not good. I waited at the host desk for 10 min with employees just passing by me not even greeting me or asking me to wait. They acted as if I wasn't there, just disregarding my existence. I don't understand why but I just left.

Holy moly this was one of the best most authentic Mexican Food spots I've ever come across in SoCal! My family and I came here for Mother's Day and I'm so glad we did We got shrimp enchiladas, ceviche, baked mussels, garlic shrimp and fish tacos. Literally every bite was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Shout out to the chef and our amazing server! Also highly recommend their limonada, it's so refreshing! You won't regret coming here I swear.
