If I could give this place negative stars I would!!! I went in before work and wasted 45 minutes of my time when RAFAELA or however you spell her name decided to go thru the whole process of taking my order and then requested that my husband has to be there to make the purchase but the whole time I said my husbands info and repeated it to her several times. So not sure if she was stupid or deaf but go to any other Lowe's but this one because their selection is trash like their service.

I like Lowe's they have a great selection of everything but getting someone to help you is tough. There is no one around and when you finally find someone they are not from that department so they call someone else to help you and you wait and wait. I used the restroom in the meantime and there were two ladies in there both employees. I told one of them (the one that was out of the stall) that they had horrible service, she asked me what I needed, I let her know. She said she (the one still in the stall) will be able to help you she's the manager. Not sure if the manager heard the comment I made, she barely looked or acknowledged me, she stated asking where is so and so. Then I see two men come out I think from the a lunch room. Seems like most everyone was at lunch or on a break. I nice young man helped a bit, I didn't get his name but still needed help so I was back at the same department no one ever show up to help. I finally found another employee his name was Benjamin, he helped me with everything I needed from finding to checking out. He even went to get a cart and loaded what I had into it. He was awesome! I was there almost two hours for something that should have taking me half that time Thank you again Benjamin you very helpful Lowe's needs more employees like Benjamin

First, I'd like to say that Sarah who works in the appliance department was awesome! She personally deserves a five star. But, let's get to the meet of the problem. Your website says you have the item, I go there ask they check, they don't have it, really? But Sarah checks with two other local stores to see him inventory that might be convenient for me to drive to. She also said that I could order it but it would be March 7 before I would receive it. That's a couple of weeks so that's no good. Waiting on the phone for the people in Santee to check their stock. They finally get on the phone and say shows we have it but we don't. OK, call Otay Lakes store after 15 minutes the girl gets on the phone and they have it. They asked for my name and said to come to the appliance desk for it when I arrive. I drive down there takes 30 minutes to get there and I go to the appliance desk where I have to wait because there's only two people working there ones on the phone. The other is helping other clients,. Then when they ask, do I need help? I tell them that just called from the Mission Valley store And that they were supposedly holding the microwave there for me. Immediately, I was told no that I would have to go to the customer service department back at the front of the store. More time wasted. I wait in line there to get assistance, they look, they don't have it up there And the girl says let me go back to the appliance department. I'll bet you can imagine what she comes back with. That's right, she comes up, pushing a cart with the microwave on it! Now I give that a basic average level of service, but to spend almost 2 hours of my day to purchase a microwave through modern in inventory and phones and personnel you need to get your system fixed. Five star to Sarah, who, in the beginning at Mission Valley showed the most concerned and care about my needs, every other person I spoke with just seems to be in the blah mood working. Lack of customer service.

This Lowe's is nice, and the employees are always helpful. In particular on Sunday 1/28 around noon , Joe in the garden department helped me find the right weed killer for a persistent yucca. He approached offering help and even went to the back to get a better item for my needs. Joe, you saved the day and my front yard is looking better than ever. Our HOA is happy again, lol. I've misplaced my receipt so I'm unable to do the survey for Joe, but his customer service was excellent and he deserves recognition for it!!! Thank you, Joe!!

I'm looking for a refrigerator, and they definitely have a wide selection to choose from. The salesman in that department was quite knowledgeable of the products that they carried and gave me some better insight as to help me choose. It's what I needed. So I can make a purchase soon.

on 1/23/24 I was able to get the likely the last dehumidifier available today (after 3" of rain yesterday that flooded out my daughter's flat in Coronado) in the South Bay at Lowe's eastlake. I called and got disconnected a couple of times, one time at least was my fault. Made it through automated answerbot, got dehumidifier dept. through excellent customer service desk, verified they had in stock one dehumidifier, fellow (Carl! many thanks) had to explain a couple of times to pay for it online then pick it up. Our phones were not working well together. Very hard to hear him. Once I paid for it online, got phone message saying ready for pick up in a flash. Found out later dehumidifier was in some odd place, not where it was supposed to be (after all who needs dehumidifying in coastal desert that is SD?) Carl had found it! Got to store, picked up dehumidifier, staff on customer service desk were so kind even though I didn't know where to go to stand in line, and other kind staff checked me out with a few more post-flood items AND offered to help me load things into the car. Thank you everyone Eastlake Lowes.

First off , let me give props for the salespeople in appliances. Excellent help and communication. Our purchase couldn't have been better. A big thank you to you. Now on for the delivery. Ugh. We ordered our new oven before thanksgiving. The family was driving down to be with us. Our oven never showed. We kept going back to Lowe's to see what happened. It looks like the delivery people were lazy and didn't want to do it. I called them and they said they couldn't find it in the storeroom " we looked all over , even in the rafters. It's not here " Drove to Lowe's again Talked to the salesperson that's been helping us. She said it's literally right there. She called the delivery company . After hanging up with them she said They don't want to do it. So , no oven for thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Canceled the whole transaction after that. For a retired couple like us, we shouldn't have to go through something like this. If u want to buy an appliance here , great. Just have someone else do the work.

In the store's defence, the person doing the return made it as easy as possible for me and went out of her way to help me, even giving me a discount for my troubles--for having to return again because of their mistake. So, it was annoying to get the wrong part, but it was nice that they fixed it and made it less expensive than it was to begin with.(I also think that getting appliances without hook ups included is like buying a car and not having tires included. What's up with that???)

Customer service for Kobalt warranty or replacement is painfully slow. The manufacturer knows how to send it, but no one seems to know how to do it in store.

Lumber sold here is has way better quality than its competition. Service is also good because sales people are always around unlike other places where it is hard to find store representatives.
