This Lowe's is nice, and the employees are always helpful. In particular on Sunday 1/28 around noon , Joe in the garden department helped me find the right weed killer for a persistent yucca. He approached offering help and even went to the back to get a better item for my needs. Joe, you saved the day and my front yard is looking better than ever. Our HOA is happy again, lol. I've misplaced my receipt so I'm unable to do the survey for Joe, but his customer service was excellent and he deserves recognition for it!!! Thank you, Joe!!

on 1/23/24 I was able to get the likely the last dehumidifier available today (after 3" of rain yesterday that flooded out my daughter's flat in Coronado) in the South Bay at Lowe's eastlake. I called and got disconnected a couple of times, one time at least was my fault. Made it through automated answerbot, got dehumidifier dept. through excellent customer service desk, verified they had in stock one dehumidifier, fellow (Carl! many thanks) had to explain a couple of times to pay for it online then pick it up. Our phones were not working well together. Very hard to hear him. Once I paid for it online, got phone message saying ready for pick up in a flash. Found out later dehumidifier was in some odd place, not where it was supposed to be (after all who needs dehumidifying in coastal desert that is SD?) Carl had found it! Got to store, picked up dehumidifier, staff on customer service desk were so kind even though I didn't know where to go to stand in line, and other kind staff checked me out with a few more post-flood items AND offered to help me load things into the car. Thank you everyone Eastlake Lowes.

First off , let me give props for the salespeople in appliances. Excellent help and communication. Our purchase couldn't have been better. A big thank you to you. Now on for the delivery. Ugh. We ordered our new oven before thanksgiving. The family was driving down to be with us. Our oven never showed. We kept going back to Lowe's to see what happened. It looks like the delivery people were lazy and didn't want to do it. I called them and they said they couldn't find it in the storeroom " we looked all over , even in the rafters. It's not here " Drove to Lowe's again Talked to the salesperson that's been helping us. She said it's literally right there. She called the delivery company . After hanging up with them she said They don't want to do it. So , no oven for thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Canceled the whole transaction after that. For a retired couple like us, we shouldn't have to go through something like this. If u want to buy an appliance here , great. Just have someone else do the work.

Lumber sold here is has way better quality than its competition. Service is also good because sales people are always around unlike other places where it is hard to find store representatives.

The gentleman in the garden center was funny. He made shopping fun tonight for me and my wife.

Please for anyone who plans to order any appliances such as that of a washing machine, save your time and money. They don't let the customer know that they only deliver and do half the work of installation. We ordered a washer to be delivered and installed. Upon delivery their excuse as to why the installation couldn't happen includes that of them not knowing how to install the drain pan (which we had to buy before they could install) and pipe of the washer (per their legal words it's a liability). Like dummies we do what they say get a new pan and still they can't install. They rely on the home owners to have everything set up for them, making their job only consist of dropping off. This is not a true installation. It is a scam and a huge waste of money and energy. I recommend for major appliances to go through NEX or Home Depot.

Absolutely horrible store. Bought an OTR Microwave with installation. They were physically confirmed to be in stock. After 3 days, the installation folks hadn't called. When I called them, they said the Microwave wasn't in stock. (LIE) I confirmed with the store once again that they were, and I finally got scheduled 8 days after purchase. On the day of installation, at the arrival time, I get a text that my installation was now the following day. I just cancelled the order. In addition to that, they already had lost some of my business due to no one showing up to help me in plumbing. I talked to 2 Lowes employees about requiring help, and after 23 minutes of waiting (after I asked) no one showed up. It was a blessing in disguise, because I probably would have had to cancel that too. I told the manager on duty about my issue, and all he said was sorry...and kept on about his business. Lastly, I had Gift Cards, and had to wait 7 minutes for a cashier to show up just to complete my transaction. I tried to give Lowes a chance, but it's back to Home Depot for me.

Had to exchange some tools I bought, called ahead of time to see if it was possible. Told employe I payed with cash and I don't have a receipt because I never get receipts to help with paper waste. Employee told me they could do store credit which is what I wanted so I can buy the correct tools. When I got there they told me they couldn't do anything and I had to take the loss. Wasted my time and I have to keep the tools. Don't pay with cash ever apparently. Taking my business to Home Depot from now on, I'm sure they will keep their word.

Lowes: the new DMV. Only thing they can execute is for you go in store pick something from in-store inventory. Self checkout. High prices. Little help. My Future large purchase will occur via Amazon or other competitor.

Received my "new" refrigerator exactly 2 weeks ago. Two days ago got this alert and ice started to melt. I had to empty out the ice tray and turn off ice maker. Yesterday we had a very loud helicopter sound and same alert. Ice melting. Had to place towels. Went in store today and they will not replace - had I purchased with their credit card they would. Called customer protection plan and they advised store should have exchanged since its under the 30 days but my local Lowes advised me to deal with Frigidaire... great inconvenience and management is useless. Why would I pay so much to have a defective fridge? They should have replaced the unit and deal with the OEM themselves. Never coming back.

After receiving a damaged fridge for my elderly parents on 4th of July by the rude delivery guys...I was told by Antonio an asst mgr and by Bill the mgr we would be compensated...and now we have the fridge with a scratch on it and no one at Lowe's will answer my call.

WARNING!!! I learned the hard way that Lowe's will not accept a return of any appliances ( including range hoods) after 48 hours!!! There is nothing on the receipt that states that and I was told that I should have been informed when I paid for appliances. How do you prove you weren't informed??? Won't be shopping there any longer. I have a microwave and dishwasher sitting in garage waiting to be installed after new cabinets are in...let's pray they fit and work!!

Went to pickup two 16 foot boards, last evening, around 7pm. Lumber department access doors were locked. Went through main entrance and asked how I could get the boards, without snaking long lumber through the store to self-checkout (only check out area that was open). Had to go load lumber on cart and push towards lumber department exit, then tear tag off lumber and walk all the way back to the checkout area, pay (thanks for helping Patti), then walk all the way back to the lumber exit area, where Victor kindly let us out. Ridiculous imposition on customers. Upper management clearly couldn't care less.

Went to buy some paint and other supplies. As I got ready to pay, I put in my number to get the military discount and I was prompted to scan my id card. I did not have it with me as I was coming back from a jog. I keyed in my info but the employee there said they could not help me and that was it. I asked to have my stuff put aside as I would come back. Came back and all the items had been returned. I was told they can not hold items. Of course no one mentioned this earlier. They don't care. They could have had some sort of back up if someone forgot to bring their ID and I also prefer not to have someone scan my ID card if I choose not to. A text could have been sent to my phone or I could have shown other proof. Customer service was nowhere to be found. No apology, no empathy, no help with any resolution. They are more concerned with talking to each other than helping the customer. Good thing Home Depot is nearby. I will be encouraging my fellow military fam to support a business that supports them.
