“I was greeted immediately, or at least acknowledged by the 5 staff that were posted at the far end of the store. In no time, a gentleman from that group came out to assist me. I handed him over router box and the adapter. He got on the computer and punched in some numbers from the equipment I gave him. He confirmed that my daughter had her service with Cox and that she canceled recently. No more questions were asked and off I went. Easy, fast and efficient.
My daughter had been with Cox for probably 5- 10 years. Within that time, her internet service was raised, I believe once if not twice ($15 more per month, approximately $115 monthly bill). And, within the past couple years, her internet has gotten slower, signals were weak and sending messages with images took longer than usual. She then ended up exchanging her router for a newer version last year. Still, same issue. It was time to say goodbye to Cox.
T-mobile offered her $50 service charge, per month, nothing more, nothing less. A new router and an extender. BOTH FREE! A great deal and better signals in her 2000 s.f. home. Try T-mo out , if Cox can’t perform”
