I always regret ordering online here for curbside pickup. Not only does it take a minimum of 15 minutes once you get there, it doesn't take into account that I used the app and also let them know I was on my way. More than once I've had to call a manager to say I was there for 25 minutes waiting after checking in. Then, the staff are so rude, as if you are just in the way. The best Home Depot in Chula Vista is off H St. The employees are prompt, friendly and helpful. No sense giving the Eastlake store another chance, they are never going to change.

I Came Here For The DeWalt Tool Special They Only Had Here Or @ Another Store Only. I Did Like The Friendly Customer Service Lady Who Helped Me Get An Electric Scooter. I Went To The Tool Coral And Found The Drill Set I Wanted. I Didn't See A Button To Push Like @ Other Stores That Lock Stuff Up Too. Yeah Took Me 15Mins To Finally Track Someone Down To Ask About Key And They Told Me To Wait For Someone Else. I Did Wait Another 15Mins. Oh Yeah When The Man Unlocked The Cabinet, Yeah He Knew Nothing About The Sale. I Explained Exactly Showed Him The Add On The Phone & Said The Sale Was Over. I Said No It Ends Tomorrow. He Than Called Another Female Accoicate And She Tried To Look Up On A Hand Held Electronic Device And Said Yeah Sale Was On Line Only & Had Ended. I Said No & Showed Her The Ad On The Phone. Oh Yeah After A Half Hour Of Back And Forth She Found The Sale. I Finally Got The The Free Saw With My Drill Set Purchase! I Can't Believe Home Depot Tried To Weasel Out Of This Sale Or Even Made Drive All The Way Out Here! Yeah Might Think Of Cutting My Home Depot ?. Yeah Be Careful Folks & Leary About Home Depot Scams! I Definitely Don't Recommend This Store!

**Exceptional Service and Support for Community Projects**Our recent visit to the local Home Depot, accompanied by my son, a Life Scout from Troop 5, was an encounter we'll remember for years. We were on a mission to gather donations and supplies for his ambitious Eagle Scout project. The experience surpassed all expectations, largely due to the extraordinary efforts of the staff, especially Gary, the Problem Solver, and Emerald Pena, the Customer Experience Manager.Gary was a beacon of support, dedicating countless hours to assist us. He demonstrated incredible patience and expertise, carefully guiding my son through the process of selecting the best quality materials. His educational approach in teaching my son how to choose the right pieces of wood, varnish, and stain was remarkable. Gary's involvement ensured that my son was a key part of every decision, instilling in him a sense of pride and ownership over the project.Elizabeth's role was equally pivotal. Her leadership and commitment to community support shone brightly as she facilitated the entire process, ensuring that everything from discounts to delivery services was handled seamlessly.The local Home Depot, through the actions of Gary, Elizabeth, and the team, has proven to be more than a store; it's a cornerstone of community support and youth empowerment. The three Lego tables my son and his fellow scouts are creating for the Ronald McDonald house will stand as a testament to this incredible support.We extend our deepest gratitude to Gary and Elizabeth for their exceptional customer service and to Home Depot for being a stalwart ally in our community projects. Your commitment has not only facilitated the successful completion of a significant project but has also enriched the lives of the young individuals involved. Came in today around 7:30pm wanting to make a big appliance purchase. Went to the customer service desk in the front. We were helped by a Hispanic women who was wearing a black face mask. We asked if they priced match with Lowe’s and she told us NO! Only Amazon and Best Buy. I knew she was lying because it clearly says online you do. So my husband and I drove down to the next Home Depot who gladly helped us with the price match with Lowe’s. So sad that I live right by this Home Depot and you have associates who don’t want to do there jobs. I had to drive to a different Home Depot where associates were actually willing to help there customers!! (FYI that’s your job)

This review is for Joe in the paint department. He alone earns the whole store 5 stars. If he had his own yelp page he would get 5 stars. I am currently doing some renovations (and like the saying goes "when it rains it pours" now having to budget much tighter on these needed renovations) he works in the paint department and I over heard his friendly voice greeting, engaging, helping and making sure every customer was thoughtfully and well taken care of as if they were the only customer he was responsible for. He had greeted me right away when he saw me made sure I was ok (which at the time I was kinda needing help but, not really ready to admit it yet, lol) he let me continue on and then checked on me again with inquiring what all I was looking for and wanting to paint. I had my heart set on one more expensive color, wasn't really sure about how much paint, becoming to where almost all the colors were starting to blend together and he help me make sure I got the original color I was trying to match but, at a better cost but, then made sure to get the right blends for wanting to get it done in one basically and made sure I had MORE than enough at the best price possible. I couldn't haven't been more appreciative for his help and care. My mom has always taught me "You never know what's going on behind someone else's closed doors so, be kind." He did just that! He was patient and helpful and with the amount of work I've had to overwhelmingly and unexpectedly take on, just him helping made me feel so grateful and blessed. Joe: If you get to read this, thank you!! Like I said when I met you "how kind your voice was" that shines from with in and you are wonderful! Home Depot: please take note and appreciate how great it is to have an employee like him. We all know there is a theme going on these last couple years in the work force and it's just so rare to find an employee like him. He's a charm.

Do not go to this place specially if your buying appliances like refrigerator. Employee name KELLY and manager NIKKI don't know what they selling. When i tried to order refrigerator they said they couldn't help me because out of stock but when I call other home depot in Chula Vista they said they can do the order because it's available for purchase. What kind of manager are you NIKKI if you don't even know your JOB. What a waste of my TIME Update.. me and my wife went to Home Depot at H street and guess what they have a refrigerator that we wanted and purchased it over there instead of at Eastlake branch and not even a help with a manager like at eastlake. NIKKI what kind of manager are you if you don't even know your JOB. Find another JOB pleaseeeeee

I was so delighted to come in and get such excellent service and hospitality from Joey at the pick up counter. I purchased a saw, stand, and several other tools and Joey got me a cart and loaded it up for me and made sure I was well taken care of. Can't say enough great things about their high level of service.

Great staff, store is quite unorganized due the season, however magagement allows animals on store and it's just filthy, dog piss on several places damaging products and creating slip hazards (tree and penguins are splattered as you can see on picture and are now a thread to a allergic family who purchase these products, btw epi pens are f'ng expensive), staff has now extra work to clean for dog piss and "crayola" markings on floor, when is this dog nuttery gonna end!?
