“I am new to OTF, just started going in February. I average about 5-6 times a month but my goal is 8. I have never worked out prior and OTF has been so welcoming and encouraging. I love that the workouts are hard but doable, and I can go at my pace and keep challenging myself. Shout-out to coach Rob and Lauren who have the best energy and are always helpful whenever I have needed modifications. I have never stuck with anything else prior to OTF. Thanks OTF Eastlake for helping me start my wellness journey!”

“Not your “ traditional” gym and honestly it’s better that way. Houston Fry as a personal trainer really makes the difference in how you can view gyming. From his knowledge and encouragement to ask questions to his patience and at the same time way to push you without taking the fun out of personal training n dieting. He really focuses on being on the same page as you and making a training plan actually personalized to what you desire to get out of the experience. What is most important to me is that he teaches you how to make it a life style . Thanks coach!”

2322 Proctor Valley Rd Suite 105, Chula Vista“I dont like crowds. Just want to get my workout in and go about my day. This gym fits that bill. Even during peak hours Im not waiting in a queue for a machine. The fact its the only 24hr gym in the area is a solid plus for me as well. Even the employees like Joan and Peter talk to you like people unlike a drone that just checks you in. Great gym if you want to workout.”
“I started the Eastlake training center fitness class 4 months ago. Joe has helped me learn so much about fitness and how to use weights and proper form. He helped me get out of my shell and comfort zone. I’m on my way to reaching my fitness goals. I highly recommend Eastlake training center for all your fitness needs. From beginner to advanced he has classes to meet your expectations. Thank you Joe and coaches for all you do. Every class from 5,6 am has a great group of people that are always willing to help others I’m very happy I found this class.”

900 Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista“This review is specifically about the GYM.The gym is good. It is not very big compared to other gyms but the size is fair. It doesn't have all the machines but it has most of them and what it doesn't have one can do it in other ways anyways. It is good. I've been coming here for two years and it has been a pleasant experience. Staff is nice.Usually when machines get broken they tend to be fixed in around a time of two weeks or so.Lockers are big, you need to bring your own lock ofc. There is just two bench press, three sets of two cables and for the other machines are one or two of the same as well.Usually there is a lot of people at 12 - 3pm I believe.”

1030 3rd Ave, Chula Vista“This review is for the Kids Club. 5/5 for the staff, they are great and I love the projects they have for the kids and it IS apparent they earnestly care for your child. So, I hope you pass this review onto Corporate because I want to advocate for you! Now this part of my review includes the cons for Chuze Fitness Kids Club policy in general: 1) The hours for kids club is restrictive. 8-12AM and 4:30-8:30PM? Not all of us work the 9-5 schedules that these hours are made for. You literally coup us parents into the busiest hours of your business. Because of this, a lot of our time at the gym is spent waiting on a machine/bench to free up or we modify our workouts just to make the most out of the time/membership that WE pay for. IN addition to this, Chula Vista Chuze is the only Chuze gym in south San Diego with childcare so not only are we restricted to hours, but we are restricted to ONE location. 2) This new reservation program is a flop. I get that you guys are trying to combat waitlists and parents who are upset that childcare is not readily available when they walk through the door. But the answer is not a reservation. I'm sure your staff is tired of politely trying to convince parents that this new system is "GOOD" for them. Let's be honest PARENTHOOD is not conducive to schedules. For most, we are already struggling to make it to the gym. It takes packing diaper bags, ensuring baby/kids are fed, clean, rested, bringing extra changes of clothes for accidents, snacks for after, etc etc. sometimes it takes a good (30 minutes) to get out of the house, add on a child who is crying for unknown reason-- do you understand why a reservation isn't feasible & in fact MORE stressful for us parents? On my to do list of parenting, I now have to ensure I have made a reservation every day for the succeeding 3 days. And if it's booked, well that just sucks FOR ME. Of note, I missed a reservation on Friday cause I had spent the whole night prior at ER with my firstborn and when I walked in on Saturday with my baby I was kindly reprimanded by staff for forgetting to cancel. I'm sorry but canceling a reservation was not my priority in the ER. The fact that I made it to the gym after pulling 24 hours at the hospital with a child in pain should have been a pat on the back for me. And that's not your fault, but it shouldn't be mines either. LIFE happens. Imagine you guys charging a cancellation fee on a deceased parent cause they didn't show up and you have their widow on the phone/in front of you trying to explain why they didn't show up--dramatic, but that's life sometimes. My point is, instead of making a reservation system why don't you just hire more childcare staff and open the hours up so you can spread the crowd around. A live waitlist could also help so that we can know if it's worth it to drive to the gym and wait 10-15 minutes. Most won't be upset if they know ahead of time.”

649 Anita St Suite A3, Chula Vista“My girlfriend introduced me to working out and this gym. I tried it out with the three day trial, keep in mind I had hardly ever worked out before, the coaches are all so nice and really helped out with my form. They had a three month membership special so I said f*** it and I do not regret it. I feel so much better about myself, and my girl said I have back muscles now, she showed me a picture and I was like damnnnn that's me?!? Now it's my girl, and our two friend that are members at this gym. Five stars is the least they deserve.”

320 3rd Ave, Chula Vista“Great gym, been going for almost two years. Always upgrading/adding new machines and equipment. They are adding a sauna with infrared soon, have a cafe with special protein shakes, meal preps, coffees,.. customer service a 10 out of 10, clean and maintained facilities, could use a filtered water bottle filling station. I know almost every trainer, and worker, great people, safe environment for self development. 29$ per month for basic package but so worth the investment. They are always doing something new there, and even have a welllness center next door for blood work and even Botox/ cosmetic work… INNOVATIVE+5 star service. Staff always around to give guidance and provide support. Also, lgbt friendly”

I came here for a trial run and let me tell you , the instructors are so caring and patient and just awesome . I experienced 3 different instructors and they each bring a different flavor to the practice and I love how they change it up. I am going to acquire a membership and I suggest that you also try this great spot. So healing and beautiful ....”

1550 E H St, Chula Vista“After experience the worst customer service through the phone line. I went to the gym in person. The owner of the gym had very different attitude. He was polite and took care of the balance. I'm still waiting for the dispute, but I am satisfied with his service. The owner told me the customer on the phone is beyond his management.”
“No complaints, just like all LA fitness locations I've gone to. Clean, nice equipment, very large gym. This one has a nice set up. If you have membership that allows you to use Esporta gyms as well, I suggest trying those, they have a few things LA fitness doesn't have and has a different feel to those gyms, it's a good change of pace.”
“This review is for Alyssa, I believe currently the Assistant Manager at Chula Vista (Otay Ranch) Planet Fitness. I want to express my appreciation for the outstanding management at PF Chula Vista and commend the thoughtful selection of team members leading this gym.
When I first joined, I was immediately impressed by Crystal, who has since been promoted to manage another location. Coming from high-scale corporate gyms and luxury apartment gyms, I always assumed a higher price meant better service. However, Crystal's professionalism, along with the immaculate state of the Otay Ranch facility, quickly changed that perception. Her detailed walk-through and clear explanation of the gym’s features and pricing left a lasting positive impression.
After Crystal’s promotion, I wondered how the gym would fare without her. Then I met Alyssa. Alyssa greets everyone with kindness and consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She’s thorough in explaining equipment usage, offers insightful tips on the best hours to visit, and embodies a level of professionalism that reflects exceptionally well on Planet Fitness. She is always engaged with members and walking throughout the facility making sure things are in order. As a business executive, I recognize these qualities as invaluable for any organization.
Alyssa is undoubtedly a rising star within your team, and I hope she is recognized with future promotions she deserves. People like her are essential to maintaining the positive momentum of any business, and she is a true asset to Planet Fitness.”
“So the husband and Myself have been looking for a gym that can offer daycare for our child while we workout and feel comfortable. This place went above and beyond making sure we felt comfortable. The staff was very friendly as I was asking to a of questions and they didn't seem to mind . I can say for what we pay for the gym membership it's all worth it . Carlos on the first day made me feel welcome and he even remembered my name after about 3 days after first meeting me . When in doubt stuck to something that makes you feel comfortable and this place did that for our family .”

I was there when the "lunk" alarm went off. It immediately lighten the mood as it brought smiles to everyone's face and a little chuckle to some. Staff very helpful at the counter.”

I appreciate him fixing my 24GO app to check in without going through any trouble. He was also patient teaching me and my friend how to check in the next time I bring a friend. Thank you so much.”

“Extreme fitness is my favorite gym. If you’re looking for a place to workout that will challenge you, this is the gym to go to. The owner Alex and staff are great and super supportive.
