Ariana is the worst stylist. Avoid her at any cost g you love your hair you won’t get haircut from her.

Great Clips not inclusive of all hair textures! On November 4th approximately 10am, I scheduled an appointment for a wash/blow dry and trim. Upon arrival, Kim took me to her chair and I explained the services that I wanted. Although I have tight curly hair, I have gone to many places (typically Super Cuts) that attend to predominantly straight hair without any issues. I checked Great Clip’s website prior to booking and I did not find anything that states that your salon can only work on or only have tools that work on straight hair. My visit to your salon was by far the worst experience I have EVER had in a hair salon! Kim took me to the wash station and begun washing my hair and then conditioned it. While conditioning, I asked her if she was knew how to deal with tight curly hair and she stated that she was not familiar but stated that she would have someone who’s familiar to do my blow dry. When she was finished with the wash, she took me to the chair and proceeded to detangle my hair. About a 1/4 of the way of detangling, she goes over to another stylist and says that her comb keeps getting stuck and she cannot untangle my hair. I heard her say this aloud and I am certain other customers did too. Being the only, black customer and only tight coiled hair person, you can only imagine the state of embarrassment I felt. I later learned that this comment was said to your manager, Jen. Not once did Jen acknowledge the comment or tell the stylist that the comment was inappropriate. After that statement being made about my hair, Kim comes back over to me and says that she cannot do anything with my hair. She said she cannot blow dry it because your salon doesn’t have blow dryer attachments and my hair kept getting tangled. I walked out of your salon with dripping WET hair because your stylist claimed that your salon doesn’t not have tools that cater to curly hair! After leaving, I did speak to your manager Jen regarding my experience and I feel as though she cannot fix this issue alone because your stylists lack of diversity and professionalism. So my question to you, as the owner, is why does your salon not carry products and equipment that cater to all types of hair, as advertised on your website? Why do your stylists lack diversity in catering for all types of hair? Customers walking out with dripping WET hair when they wanted more services, is this the representation that you want for your business? Why do your stylists think that it is appropriate to make comments regarding clients hair aloud? If your business does not want to cater to curly hair, you should advertise that! I have so many more questions but would love to hear your response and plan of action to fix these issues! This response has been sent to the owner and customer service email over a month ago and have yet to receive a response!-Tia

Haircut and mustache trim. Done well and per my appointment. Only picky thing, stylist did not identify themselves. Price was reasonable.

I went here to get a haircut, the Jensen Ackles messy spiked hair and the lady messed up so bad she had to buzz my hair off. Don’t ever go to this place

I used to go to Sport Clips for haircuts, but they were inconsistent and sometimes I had to wait for more than 30 minutes. I started going to Great Clips in Eastlake, and every haircut has been what I asked for. Very friendly stylists, reasonable prices, and consistent haircuts.

Zero stars. The woman with red and pink hair destroyed my kids hair. I specifically asked before she got started if she was experienced with cutting curly hair. All I wanted was my son's hair trimmed and evened out. Instead she did a hatchet job. When I stopped her because I could see it she was already not doing what I request she got belligerent and tried to tell she was the professional and I didn't go to school fo hair so she knew best. She cut off over 4inches of hair and left his hair looking like a mushroom. Not only is this place unprofessional and doesn't adhere to requested style from clients their actual training in cutting hair is horrific. Don't go here. You will leave traumatized.

I would never go back to that salon to cut my hair. They treated me in a way of contempt for being Latino and not understanding well what they were asking me, the hairdresser named Eva, very racist, did not want to attend to me, she thought I was a thief or I don't know, and when I he cut he did it with contempt, very ugly experience
