Domenic is amazing every time we go in. He's so sweet and caring and helps us out every time. Games are always in stock when we need them and they have a lot of good stuff in there. He always tries to find us the best price for our games and we never come out disappointed! Definitely talk to Domenic when you go in, you won't be disappointed. Thank you, Domenic! See you soon!

This is our local game stop! They are always well stocked on Pokémon cards so highly recommend if you or your kiddos collect. They have new collection launches all the time. Their rewards program is great as you can build points towards redeemable cash! We come here for a little bit of everything. From new games, gifts and just niknaks my kids collect. At one point I was worried the store would close because it was almost entirely empty and then boom! It didn't close and they did a massive restock. The guys working there are super friendly and very in the know about the new trends and games! Always have suggestions, tips and tricks for everything! I did ask about the stocking of items since I recently went to the game stop at plaza bonita and they had way more stuff and I guess it's due to it being in the mall, mall stores get more products on the shelves. I won't make the extra trip though, I love this game stop and we've gotten familiar with the staff there!

I’m from out of town, but I must say this is a good GameStop. The staff was friendly and informed me of the current sales. They renewed my membership and made sure I got my discount.

What an awesome place. I'm not big into gaming like I used to be but Dom and Alexis took their time to answer all my question. They were friendly and if I ever need to go to Gamestop, this is the spot for me. Huge thanks to the staff that day!

Employees are mean and the gamestop is always out of stock. The employees never answer the phone and they ignored children when they ask questions. The place is empty and dim

My 10 year old son walked in there and saw a box on Pokémon he wanted. He tried to reach for it, but it was locked. Of course the staff helped him , took it down and rang it up. My son was so happy to spend his money all by himself that he earned by himself. As he walked out the door, he realized the box wasn't what he wanted, so he went right back in to try to return it. They told him no! The rules say you cannot return trading cards! What the fuk is that? He's 10 years old and was trying to do something on his own. Did they let him look at the box first? No they scanned it immediately and bagged it. Did they tell him no exchanges? No! He was just excited and walked out the door. He immediately pulled it out from the bag and realized it wasn't what he thought. I went back in with him and they eventually offered store credit. He was so embarrassed he started crying and wanted to leave. What kind of stupid rule is this. Game Stop surely lost my respect and business.

I've been to this location a few times and it is by far my favorite in SD. Why? Because there is actually room to move around without bumping in to another patron and it is well stocked and organized. Having a "tween" means we are constantly buying Roblox/Minecraft gift cards and new switch games. The staff here has always been super friendly and attentive. We have the PowerUp rewards so Dubs Jr gets $5 free every month and he usually finds some item to use the $ towards or uses it towards a gift card. If you aren't a member sign up- it is well worth the $15 annual fee as you get extra $ when you trade in games and all sorts of promotions/discounts throughout the year. When we preordered the latest Pokémon switch release back in September we were told this location was throwing a release party with raffles, games, food, and a Nintendo rep would be coming. Dubs Jr. was all about it. A couple of days before the event I received a voicemail reminding me of the event and all the details. We always pick up the game the day of the release, even if we preordered, because I see no need to be at GameStop at 9 p.m. the night before to get it before it "actually" is released but to each their own.It was already packed when we arrived with a line. It was very orderly with GS employees realizing there were actually people there not for the release party and forming two lines. We provided our receipt and got our raffle ticket. They had pizza, drinks, chips, and sweet treats to snack on while you waited for the raffle, games, and release. It was pretty crazy. I think Dubs Jr. realized that there was going to be quite a wait since the party started at 6 and release was at 9 but be he was a trooper. One of the employees thanked him for being so patient and gifted him a Pokédex - so kind!I don't know if everyone knew this but this party and all food/raffle/game gifts/ card packs were paid for by the employees- yup out of their own pockets!! They handled the entire night as seamless as possible. Given that the line reached out all way to Starbucks, this was no small feat. They had employees with speakers at different points in the line so everyone could here the raffle numbers and know what was happening. I swear it looked like Taylor Swift tickets had just been released with passerbys continually asking what was going on and having confused looks when the response was Pokémon. Yeah I was right there with them as this was my first release event and some people took it a little too seriously. Props to all that kept it lighthearted and the GS employees who threw the event and kept everyone entertained.Bottom line- don't sleep on this location. It's large, well stocked, has a great inventory of markdowns, and the staff is awesome!
