I need to share my recent experience, which was quite disappointing. Normally, I refrain from posting negative reviews because I believe in giving businesses a chance to improve. However, this incident was particularly frustrating.
Upon entering the cigar area to purchase cigars as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law, I was abruptly asked to leave because of a bag I was carrying. While there was a sign indicating no backpacks, I pointed out that my bag did not fall into that category. Despite my explanation, the gentleman at the counter refused to allow me to shop with my bag and insisted that I either leave it outside or exit the premises altogether.
At no point did either of us use profanity, but his attitude was clearly rude. I chose not to leave my bag outside and complied with his demand to leave. I hope my feedback will encourage them to treat customers with greater respect in the future. It’s the holiday season, and a more positive approach would certainly enhance the customer experience.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would. The service here is beyond unprofessional—it’s downright insulting. My boyfriend went in with his ID after being told he needed to bring it, and the woman behind the counter REFUSED to serve him, claiming I had to come back with him. Excuse me, but how does that make any sense? He had the proper identification!
But it gets worse—she actually had the audacity to call my boyfriend CHILDISH. How dare you insult your customers like that? That is not only unprofessional but entirely unacceptable. You don’t talk down to customers, no matter what.
This shop clearly doesn’t care about treating people with respect or offering decent service. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that values its customers. Absolutely appalling experience.

I am absolutely appalled by the service and treatment at this shop. After a terrible in-person experience where my boyfriend was refused service (even with proper ID) and insulted by being called “childish,” I decided to call and inform the manager. Instead of a sincere apology, the manager made the situation even worse by making random, baseless assumptions about me and my boyfriend.
How is this acceptable? Not only does this shop lack professionalism, but it seems like their staff, including management, are more interested in judging and insulting their customers than actually doing their job.
This was beyond disappointing—it was outright offensive. If you’re considering going here, don’t waste your time or money. Find a place that respects and values its customers, because this shop clearly does not.

Absolutely appaling customer service from the heavy set female with large eyes. I am not being rude, just referencing her description that works behind the counter. I requested to see a variety of e-cigs and she stated "you have been here and there in the back". I dont even live in Chula Vista. I live in downtown San Diego. Just happen to be in Chula Vista.
She is rude and has no business working in the customer service industry. I called to reference a complaint and a manager named John would provide no further details because they have stalkers per his converstaion with me. The Better Business Bureau will be contacted as well as the Department of Consumer affairs. If the heavy set female withe large eyes is working behind the counter when you go in you might as well look for another store and just walk out. You will walk out feeling discusted. Manager John would not provide further references or assistance.

Pretty nice place, but the shopping experience is terrible. The owner name Jennifer has the worst attitude imaginable, she literally snatched the money out of my hands. She can’t be bothered with your questions regarding products, and you cant browse their limited selection without feeling watched over constantly. It’s a shame bc the location is nice. At first I thought she was having a bad day, but her nasty behavior is repetitive.

Love how all of the not so positive reviews for this business does not have any comments or reaction from the store manager itself. Which to me says a lot about how it run its business and how it does not care for any of its customers.

Stopped in for some cigars and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. It's not the biggest humidor around, but it is a walk-in and I was able to find all my usual favorites along with a few new sticks to try. I'll be going back when it's time to stock up again ?

My husband and I have been coming here for a while and we have always had a great experience. But today 12/26/2023 around 2:30-3pm the manager claiming to be the manager who I called later in the evening around 7ish told my husband who was in the smoke shop, after the purchase told the "manager" that the item did not work, this is also after him leaving and trying it and she never give him the receipt. Which I get we should always ask for one. Thats when she told him to charge it and it will work for the most part. Do keep and mind her attitude was horrible throughout all this. So my husband came home charged it for a few hours and still was not working. That's when I called the shop asking if the manager was going to be in tomorrow because I assumed that the manager was gone for today. She told me she's not sure if the manager was coming in or not even saying I am the manager how can I help you? She wanted to hear what I had to say then she wanted to announce that she was the manager. Asked her this whole time you're the manager? She continued to let me know phrasing my question telling me that I was asking if the manager was going to be in tomorrow? Not if the manager was in now. So that's why she didn't say she was the manager after everything. Regardless take initiative for the mistakes. That was unprofessional of her. She kept telling me that she told my husband to charge and it will work. Basically telling us what we were doing wrong. No apology but she did offer for us to bring it back so she can give us a new one. But at that point there's no reason to. After saying all that she still had an attitude. I get people do make mistakes but that was unacceptable.
