Be careful with any transaction in this bank. First, they ask you for two ID to cash a check if you don't have account with them. Second, they CHARGE YOU 8 dlls to cash your CHECK!!!! And third, I heard when the cashier asked to one of the clients that she have to take copy of he's documents!!! WHY?!!! They only have to see the two documents!!!BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THEY CONTRIBUTE TO DO LAUNDRY MONEY!!!

Tried to cash a check drawn on their bank since I was a non customer I had at least 2 pieces of identification; though since 1 was of them was a online account credit card they refused to cash my employers check for me. That's discrimination I feel. I took the check to another branch location and they cashed it with no problem ( kudos to that locations and stars go to that branch office only)

I have a mid six-figure business bank account here, and when I tell you this is the absolute worst bank, worst customer service, worse attention to detail, and most difficult people to work with. Their entire system is aged and nothing is up to speed with current society. By the end of this year I will be moving my entire account to another bank where I can have a small banker that will actually have attention to detail with my transactions, and be able to answer basic banking questions. This bank is in Chula Vista off of third Avenue, I had to drive all the way to Carlsbad to speak with a customer service manager to add someone to sign off on payroll checks. Absolutely ridiculous hot a** mess of a branch. Also it's not just me, they give my employees an issue every time they cash the checks in person, and call me just to verify their checks every single time!!! Absolutely not necessary. I have encouraged my team to close all accounts with this bank and we will be taking our business elsewhere. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Poor service ! I went to cash a check and they lie about calling my client who sing the check . After going back to my client and ask if he can contact the bank so I can cash the check! He told me that no one ever call hem from bank and the bank branch manager kick me out of the bank because I got upset at them for not cashing my check and it seems like the branch manager was more focus on my lenguaje than doing the right thing! For me and call the customer so I can cash my check ??? poor customer service over all and branch manager should go back to training .

Marco helped me today 6/22 he made the process easy for me. He set time expectations and reviewed the necessary. I saw him helping multiple of his coworkers as a person that works retail is much appreciated. He verified information and gave me his business card. It was awesome to see someone engaged doing their job well.

I've banked with CBT nearly 7 years, I've always had great experiences up until recently. A recent visit for a wire transfer has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Theresa was of no help whatsoever, she was rude, unprofessional and belittling. Every answer part of the transaction was difficult, even though it has never been the dozens of times it'd be done before. After stating she "couldn't help" and flung my transfer back at me, I haven't been back. This bank was so much better under old management and old tellers (Margarita, Erin). Stay away and either go to a different branch or a different bank!

This location is located in downtown Chula Vista, off a busy street 3rd Avenue. But they have plenty of parking inside their lot as well as parking in front of the building on the street. They are still insisting on covid covid procedures. Which makes me feel safe. I think since it was later in the day this location was not too busy. Came here with a friend, and and during my visit I noticed how friendly the tellers and management was. This is definitely a neighborhood bank as most of the tellers knew the customers by name and what type of banking they they anticipated with the customer. Honestly very refreshing to see compared to banks like Bank of America and Wells Fargo which have been my past dealings. If you are looking for a neighborhood bank then this one is definitely for you.

Beware the bank personnel appears to judge based on what you look like and wear - very noticeable upon trying to open a new business account which had higher fees than listed online. Couldn't wait to leave-the questioning was like police interrogation! Get a clue science is not in your wheelhouse - I'm sure other highly educated people will find a better banking solution.

I just go there to cash my work check. The staff is very friendly and nice, they always notify me of the charges since I am not a member, and there is never really a wait when I go in.
