I recently had a right blinker light replaced. After an hour so it gave out. I went back today to to see what happened and was told it is probably an electrical problem. And I told them that a friend of mine said that it was not since all the circuits are connected front and back. I spent $45 on this ball replacement I purchased the bulbs from AutoZone and was told that any Garage could just pop it in. I and mentioned that my friend mentioned that it would not it is not an electrical problem since the backlight are working. Again I was told it is probably a electrical problem. Cannot fit me in made asked me to reschedule so they can check it out. I went to another garage, they fixed the blinker again within 30 minutes and told me it was definitely not electrical problem. Is this a rip off. Never trusting them again

My VSC, check engine, and gas light were lit up on my dashboard. Naturally, I googled it to see if I could fix it myself. I found out it could be one of two things— the gas cap wasn’t screwed on securely or oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. I tightened the gas cap and all three lights were still on so I decided to take it in to get it checked out. I dropped my car off and they told me they’d give me a call later today. The previous mechanics I have been to will take look at the car, give a call with a diagnosis, and ASK if I would like to move forward knowing how much everything will cost but not Bonita Vista Gas and Auto. They took it upon themselves to go right ahead and replace the gas lid ($40) and charge $120 for the labor. Had I was given the option I could have done this myself. Before handing your keys over I suggest telling them not to do any work without your consent.

So I forgot that I need my smog check before I renew my registeation, i know they are open at 8 so I was there on time and immedietly got the smog done by 8:29. This is something I like in repair shop, Dealers are the most sucks of them all, Next is waiting for your car on a simple fix. Convenient is what I like most. So if you need a smog just come and see Ray and there is no too much yak yak, he will work on it and your not even done with your sandwich and its done already.

I came here based on good Yelp reviews and because I was fed up with the lack of attention my car and I were getting at the dealer's service shop. I am so glad I came here instead. I had them check on some problems I was having with my car where the dealer had either misdiagnosed it or wouldn't take the car on a test drive to determine what was really wrong. Andrew, one of the mechanics, immediately offered a test drive and proceeded to walk me through the details on what was actually wrong, how to fix it, and how much it would cost. My car is back to normal now, and I am so happy about it. Larry, the owner, and Andrew are obviously competent, honest, and friendly - all very important traits for good mechanics! I will be sure to return here.

My mom brought her car in early morning to get two new tires because one of her tires blew out. They said they would order her one new tire and to come back later at 3pm. She asked them to get her two new tires. She calls them after 12pm and asks to speak with Larry. They put her on hold and don't even say anything. Then is told her tires are there already and to come later, that they will call her after lunch. She asks them if they have her number and they say they do, but they don't even repeat it back her. She gets there a little before 3pm....come to find they tell her the tires are not there yet, and they ask her to come back tomorrow. My mom is so upset by this time. They asked her if she called and she said yes and that they told her the tires were there. She will never be going back there again. Rude and poor customer service.

This review is for a couple years ago but I recently remembered what happened here and wanted to give others a heads up. Took my car in for an oil change. Quoted around $60. Got a phone call about suggested service. Thanked them and said I would look into it in the future. Went to pick up the car and they had doubled the price of the oil change. I told them I’m not paying that and that’s not what my quote said. The manager came up and said he called me and told me the new price “over the phone”. I told him that maybe he thought he had but he didn’t. He started ranting about how my car was going to fly off the road at any minute that it was in such bad condition. Very strange. This guy used to be normal and we’ve known him for years. I paid the originally quoted price. This used to be my family’s “go-to” for car repair. Not anymore.

These guys have been my mechanics since I got my first car nearly 10 years ago. They are quick and trustworthy and have always been upfront about timing and cost. No surprises! I had even gone in to have them help me change my wiper blades because I had gotten them stuck and the guy didn't accept any payment from me. Unfortunately, I have to find new mechanics in Nashville but seriously, if you need someone you can trust, its these guys.

I always have my smog test done here for at least 4 times. I did not have to make appointments. No long wait for the service, about 30 minutes or less. Very professional and courteous personnel!
