IMPECCABLE. HONEST. GREAT WORK! i got into an accident south of the border and had to lug my car back to SD for repair. I live in LA, so i had to call around various SD body shops for quotes and pray for the best. The damage was extensive and i was seriously considering junking the whole thing because the repair quotes i was getting were so high and not worth repairing the vehicle. Was not feeling great about it all ... until i called Mario. Mario saved my car!! He asked for photos of the vehicle, spelled out my options (including junking the car!) and gave me rough price quotes. I towed my car over and he confirmed his estimate, gave me a rough time frame for completion, and set my expectations in the likely event we'd find hidden damage. He was very accommodating with making payment over the phone and providing regular updates throughout the process. I just got got my car back and it looks BRAND NEW. Honestly never looked better, even when i bought it. I'll post photos soon of the excellent work they did. I would even consider driving down from LA next time my car needs work. Can't exalt their virtues and skills enough. 10000% recommended.

I've had two occasions to work with Abel's and will come again if I need auto body work. From the beginning, communication is great. They provide an extremely detailed estimate, so there is no doubt what you're getting and how much it will cost. The work is excellent and there were no surprises. Beyond this, though, I trust these guys because they gave me every reason to do so. Mario is very responsive, explains things clearly, and obviously cares about his customers. He went out of his way to help us during a stressful time and expressed genuine concern throughout.Services: Painting

I had a damaged rear bumper and I had already been to multiple other body shops around San Diego. I was getting quoted in the range of $1800-$2800! I was about to give up and just go with the last shop but then I decided to drive around this area and found Abel’s body shop. Mario was super cool to deal with and quoted me such a crazy low price that at first I didn’t think it was real. He reassured me that it was and gave me a day to drop it off. 3 days later it was all done and looking brand new! I’m definitely coming back here! Also referring anyone friends and family if they ever need body work on their cars! Thanks, Mario!

Mr.Mario owner of this auto shop did an excellent job on my auto chevy malibu lt maxx collision and i was really satisfied and happy that i brought my car to them. It only took 5 days for a heavy workload to restore my whole front end of my car. And the cost of it is affordable. I highly recommend ABEL’s AUTO SHOP by Chula Vista and its a 5 out 5 Stars for me. Very Great service . Had my 2015 Dodge Dart Body restored . Daily driver had several dings and scratches all thought the Vehicle. Mirror Damage on both sides . Ables went through the entire Vehicle and completed body work and Scratch removal getting my Car back to looking like New. I took my 2017 chevy cruze into Abel's body shop after my car was recovered after being stolen with major damage and it was a great experience. For not being a big business they do quality work for a reasonable price. I would differently use them again if need be. I hope this helps

The customer service here is fantastic. Mario made the whole experience go very smoothly. I was updated frequently on the status of my car repair. They worked efficiently and did a wonderful job. This is a family owned business, and you can see their passion for cars. I will be visiting again in the future!
