“We started attending Story after my friend prompted us to. I kept telling her I didn't want to come to some new "hipster church." Our first service was a Christmas Eve service right before the pandemic hit and I was instantly drawn in.Solid, Bible based preaching, a warm and welcoming community for our kids (and a kids ministry that really focuses on teaching our kids, not just babysitting), godly leadership, and a desire to really see one another grow in our faith.We recently attended the membership class and I'm very grateful for the checks and balances that are in place to hold those who are shepherding us accountable.I've grown up in church my whole life and I've been in churches where 10% of the people do all the work to keep things going. Story church also has protocols in place for those who serve so that they are not just always serving but are also in service getting fed as well.Our community group is extremely diverse when it comes to age, marital status, having kids, etc but it has been so wonderful to have that small group community to dig deeper into life with.I'm thankful to be a part of this body of believers.”
