After searching for a good Menudo spot, I'm glad I chose to try this place. I don't ever leave reviews, but when it comes to Menudo and all the trial and error, I had to leave a review. It's hard to find good Menudo. This place is authentic and absolutely delicious! Don't let the Market throw you off! This is a great, this place is legit.

It's a little hidden liquor store with a meat market in the back. Liquor store it's self is clean and has many option of drinks and snacks, I purchased 2 Mexican cokes adding up to $7.69 and be sure to bring cash unless you want to be charged a card fee of $1. Now for the meat market I pre-ordered 2 menudos for pick up over the phone. When I got there , there was a line of 3 people ahead of me and when I got to the front they told me I could have skipped the line since I ordered over the phone (ohh well) but I was given my food quickly and already packed . They do have different sizes, small menudo for $10, medium for $11 and large for $12 . I got mine both large and one with pata which I would assume was not extra charge since it still came out to $24 even (most places charge and extra $3 or more for pata). It is CASH ONLY for the meat market so be sure to bring cash or they do have an ATM machine which I'm sure charges extra. I removed one star due to the fact that when I got home it was almost lukewarm even though from the time I called to the time I got there it was only 5 minutes, so I did have to heat it up, but the flavor was on point, meat was perfectly cooked, and there was more meat than corn grain which if you like that this is the place for you. Usually at all the other places that sell menudo they give a few tortillas with the order and with my menudo I got nothing so I'm wondering if you have to add it on, it would of been nice if they had asked over the phone if we wanted some if it's not included. For the packaging of the menudo they do put Saran wrap and it comes with enough oregano with Chile, lemons, cilantro and onion (the cilantro and onion was mixed together in a bag). They didn't provide spoons so if you're not going home make sure you ask! I would come back to try their tamales and chicharrón though!

Excellent service! Mom and Pop meat market. Excellent seasoning and the cooked food is extraordinarily authentic. The menudo is a dream here. Best menudo in all of the IE. So much flavor and meat! I highly recommend this shop for all you Mexican meat needs. The carnitas are to die for.

The menudo is the best I ever had. Now having said that, the kitchen area is not clean at all. Ok let's call it like it is, it's filthy. You have to be very careful when eating out at different places because you never know how the kitchen looks where they are preparing the food, in this case you can see how clean or not clean in this case. Even the meat in refrigerator looks like it's going bad and everyone was cool with it. Can you say salmonella? I feel like I dodged a bullet sort a speak, but I'm not taking a chance at this market anymore. I used to work at terminix and we serviced restaurants that looked clean and they have a big roach problem, so just be careful when eating out they all have a cleanliness battle to be as clean as possible. But in this case it's like they not even trying to be clean.I'm not going back that's for sure. I don't know about you but I hate being sick. Sorry ya'll I can't do it.

I had been looking for good tamales and menudo, and WOW the tamales and menudo was Delicious! Lots of meat in the tamales and the menudo was so tender and seasoned just right. They give you chopped celantro and onion, sliced lemons and a little seasoning of oregano and chili peppers. They only sell on Saturday's. I give this place a double .

Went there to get some menudo. My mom loved it. We also purchased tamales, but those unfortunately were not made masa. They were made out of Maseca. Those I give them a rating of 3 stars.

Great, Great, Great, did I mention great? I had probably the best burrito I ever had in my life, went back and tried their menudo which was just as delicious! They also have a wide variety of foods and I bet it's all just as good as what I've had. Highly recommend!

This menudo tastes like a homemade menudo that your mom makes!! Best menudo I've had in this area! Menudo was fresh, clean, and flavorful. They give you condiments like: lemon, chilis, oregano, and cilantro/onion. We also purchased some hand made corn tortillas which were also great. A large menudo cost $10 and a medium cost $9 (just go for the large). They give you an option of getting it with pata. The people there are friendly and funny. They wrapped everything very well so it doesn't spill. You can even take your own pot; they'll give extra broth if you do. This place has now become our go-to menudo spot. Glad we found it!

On Saturday I come here to get menudo it's very good and chicharon freshly made on Saturday early morning. Its small place it's better take home or the park. I would recommend this place very delicious

We went this morning for menudo. We we're very impressed, the menudo was very good. Great flavor, you can taste the Chile. The homemade corn tortillas are good too. We will definitely be back next time we are in Chino!
