Well we just finished preschool at GEMs and oh gosh, my son has enjoyed his time here. Miss Anna and and Miss Jenny were so kind and so patient with my son- my son is an only child, who is sensitive and full of energy so I was nervous about how he'd adjust to any school program. I'm so glad I chose Goodearth! Everyone is kind, and my son has learned so much. The teachers communicate any issues that came up, and I feel like they care, I really really do! I was emotional my first day dropping off my son and Eva talked me through what to expect, and how it might be hard on me. Saying goodbye was just as hard, in a wonderful way. Thank you GEM teachers and staff!

It was my first born who I brought to attended their preschool program. I was nervous apprehensive and unsure if this was the right choice school for us. Full disclosure: I would have felt this way with any school. It's hard to let you child go to school for the first time; you don't know what to expect. I'm so glad I found this school! The staff and teachers are wonderful, thoughtful, caring and empathetic to each child's needs. I'm grateful for every experience we had with them. If your looking for a great school look at GoodEarth, take a tour and find out for yourself. I promise you won't regrets bring your child here. I would recommend this school to family and friends. This school will hold a special place in my heart. Not only did my son learn, grow and excel but they helped me be a better Mom! Thank you Ms. Eva, Ms. Amy Ms. Courtney Ms. Alice and special thanks to Ms. Julia. Ms. Julia you did great on your first year. We miss you all! Hello from Florida!!

The teachers are not friendly and you barely see the smile every day. My son had been to three schools and this is the worst one m. I do not recommend any kids to go to this school.

I can't say enough good things about GEMS. The staff is beyond amazing. My daughter was there for a couple of years and she loved every moment. Even after aging out she still wants to go back and see everyone. Ms. Courtney wa her teacher the whole time and she loved being in green room. Everyone at GEMS helped my daughter excel in school and I am so thankful for each and every one of them.

This review is long overdue. I love this school! My son started here since he was 2 years. All the teachers and staff are helpful and supportive in any way possible. Since starting in blue room, the teachers taught him patience, sharing, following directions, and clean up after himself. I applaud all the blue room teachers and all they do. Their patience and love to deal with my son is amazing. I don't know how they do it with all the crying every day. But they do with a smile on their face. They set a good foundation for my son when he was ready to move to another classroom. After blue room, he went to yellow than purple. These teachers are amazing. They're devotion to help my son prepare for kindergarten is amazing. They constantly updated me on how he is doing and what I can do at home to help him. Finally, he started kindergarten and he was more than prepared. Ms. Courtney and Ms. Sandra are great teachers. They taught him how to read, spell, etc. My son gets frustrated easily. So, when he cannot do something right away, he gives up. But with their guidance, encouragement, and patience, his confidence for trying something new has gotten better. He is willing to try new things without getting upset if he cannot do it right away. Due to Covid, thing have changed drastically. Kids will be kids, so having to constantly tell the kids to put your mask on every day and every minute is exhausted. I know my son and it's hard for him to keep it on all the time. So, I applaud them for doing it every day just to keep us safe. They're constantly cleaning and sanitizing everything. It doesn't have a funny smell like other schools do. It smells clean. I am very grateful for all the teachers and staff at GEMS. My son has learned so much since he has been there. He is now thriving in first grade. Thank you to all the GEMS staff and teachers! I am forever in your debt

We love GEMS! Our son went here form 2-6 and our daughter has been coming since she was 2 ( now 4). It has felt like a second home for my kids!! I highly recommended them! The facility is fun- a big outdoor space to play in. Good classroom sizes. Amazing arts and crafts decorations. So so many seasonal activities- dress up days, Easter egg hunts, pumpkin painting, Santa book exchanges, field trips ( pre COVID)- really too many things to mention!! The teachers are wonderful!!! Since my kids have been in all classrooms, I can say each teacher brings their own personality and experience to the classroom- I want to especially thank Ms Kourtney who teaches the oldest- who not only managed to teach my son to read and do 1st and 2nd grade level work ( with the added stress of LY COVID restrictions I might add!!) but also invested the time and patience in helping the kids to be caring, loving and considerate little human beings and sparked the joy of learning in them!! What more could we ask for

I have been waited few months to post this review. I transferred my son to another school and want to see if it's really my son's problem or this is the school's issue. The result comes out GoodEarth Montessori is not a good choice for pre-school. At the very beginning, GEM is a great choice for me because I live very close to the area and picking up/dropping off is really easy for me. However, after few months my 3 year old boy enrolled, the school started to told me my son is having behavior issue as he is not able to follow the instruction, hit the teachers, and throwing toys to other kids. I was very shocked because my son behave well at home and does not have these performance. So the school and I tried the multiple ways to help develop his behavior but nothing helps, and the situation was getting worse. My son started to hit me at home as well. After a careful thought, I decided to transfer him to another school in this area. It comes out that he is doing excellent now. He is able to listen to teachers words, do his projects, control his emotions and happy all the time! Here are few notes I want to share with whoever is considering this school - 1. COVID 19 control - The school is not having strict control with this pandemic. No temperature test, parents and kids are all allowed in the school same time, and multiple visitors everyday. We understand the state is already re-open, but we all aware the pandemic is still here. The school need to try at least something to avoid either crowd or test temperature something to provide a relatively safe environment for everyone. 2. Time out rule - The school is extremely in interest in putting kids timeout. this is a rule that works for some kids, but not all kids. They asked my kid sit on a chair all the time even he already calm down. And most of time, they let my kid sit in front of the office desk, where everyone is passing that area and can see the kid is being punished. One of the teachers recommended me to take away my kid's favorite thing in order to let them know he is doing something wrong. I personally cannot accept that way, this is so cruel to a kid. 3. Less activities - The school is having limited fun projects daily so kids are very easy to get bored with if they go to this school for a period of time. 4. They say they care, but no action - The teachers here are talking with you in great and kind words, but not having proper action to show they care and love. I have seen this multiple times when I dropped off the kids in the morning, some kids may not start their day in a good mood, so they cry at the gate. Instead of hugging them or calming them down, the teachers just stand straight there...... There are still lots of things i want to share in this post. GEM may be a good school, but definitely a school fit for everyone. I cannot agree their teaching concept and the way they treat my kid. Highly NOT recommend this school.

Covid-19 is not totally controlled yet. Recently they don't check temperature anymore and easily allow parents entered classroom. This is not wise for safety.

I love the school! My son has been enrolled since he was 2 years old. I can't express the gratefulness that I have for this establishment. We of course like most parents did take our child out of school for a short amount of time. However, once they re-opened, we re-enrolled our child immediately. Best decision on our part! The staff has taken the necessary precautions to ensure your child is safe as well as their well being. They go above and beyond to make sure your child feels safe and secure. Your child will grow and learn so much from the wonderful teachers to the staff and children around them. Definitely highly recommend taking your child here.

My daughter has been attending GEMS for the past two years. She started in the blue room and is now in the yellow room (4yo). She has loved her time here. The staff is always caring and sweet. They also provide good classroom structure with jobs for the kids and fun crafts and activities. The playground is awesome and I love picking my kid up after she's been running around playing in the afternoon. Before Covid they had a lot of in school activities like Yoga (which my kid LOVED) where the instructor would come teach the kids. During the past year the school has followed all the CDC guidelines and I feel my kid is very safe there. Every semester they have a parent conference to tell you how your child is progressing. It is not just fluff. They will let you know things you can work on at home to help your child improve. Overall it's been a great experience at GEMS. I highly recommend bringing your child here!

My son has been attending GEMS for 2 years since we moved to Chino Hills. Throughout his time at GEMS, he has shown an improvement in his behaviors, social, and academic skills. His teachers have been nothing but patient and encouraging to him. Since the pandemic, GEMS has always taken precaution and ensures that CDC guidelines are followed. As a working parent, it's important to feel that you are placing your child in a safe environment. I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff at GEMS for providing the love and care to my son (and all of their students) during these challenging times. I highly recommend this place if you are thinking of enrolling your child in school!

The best little preschool/kindergarten. Great teachers. Safe environment and during covid. They take all precautions with the little ones. 12-14 in a classroom. Face masks. Social distancing. Hand washing. My daughter loves going there each day. Teachers so fun activities for the kids and decorate the school really cute. My daughter is learning a lot there and Acing her schoolwork. Great place for preschool with excellent hours. 6:30-6:30.

I have nothing but great things to say about this school! This was my daughters first experience with any type of preschool, and I couldnt of picked a better place! She had a hard time the first couple of days trying to adjust, but thanks to her amazing teacher Ms shantelle, who always went out of her way, and above and beyond to always make her feel comfortable. She is truly one of a kind! The staff is always so friendly, and always welcomes the kids by their first names. They have plenty of hand sanitizer, the kids wear masks and they take temperatures before they come in. I couldn't be happier with goodearth, and If you're looking for a school that is safe, and your child will learn, thrive, and grow I highly recommend here!
