They are always helpful when I go in. Sometimes they don't answer their direct line immediately, but I call back. They are courteous and friendly. Hector is a great contact. I recommend him. To those who complain on this bank, take your accts. to the extremely, horrible bank on the corner of the intersection....x America. You'll really encounter bad practices and then you'll be grateful for Citi of Chino Hills. Citi adheres to ALL STATE REGULATIONS. If your credit card was lost or stolen, they MUST take action. They don't say too bad. If they guaranteed a bonus for opening an account, YOU HAVE THE RECEIPT AND PAPER WORK IN YOUR HANDS AS YOUR GUARANTEE. Nobody refuses to give business cards. STOP FABRICATING STORIES. Then, close your accounts and save the upstanding employees headache of dealing with you! If you think you need to report your bank, contact DFPI, Dept. of Financial Protection and Innovation. Phone: 1-866-275-2677 Email:
[email protected]. You better have all your ducks in a row!

I placed a lot of $ into a checking account which after 60 days I was supposed to receive a bonus offer put into my account. My $ was placed into an acct on 6/11/2023 and 8ts 10/10/2023 and still don't have my bonus $ offer. I have called approximately 10 times and spoken to 4 supervisors who have all lied and told me an investigation needs to be opened and to wait 7 business days. I wait, call again, speak to another supervisor who tells me another investigation needs to be opened. I have never dealt with such liars and terrible customer service in my life!!!! Run don't use Citibank!!!!! This has all taken place over the phone to they're 888)248-4226 #

This is a SILLY bank, from the manager, customer service representative, vice president of investment group, they don't know what the hell they are doing. They don't return calls, emails and never pick up phone calls either. I closed the account after 6 months and hope that no others bank with them. Please go to other banks and get a much better service.

Worst bank experience ever. The branch manager we met, named Tyler, refused to give us a business card, did his best to add obstacles instead of helping us. For example, he insisted that the service address in the SCE bill is not enough to prove residency and the mailing address needs also to be the same physical address. Which defies all logic. I gave up on adding my wife to the checking account, moving my money out of it and closing the freaking checking account so I don't have to go to a Citibank branch in life ever again.

Another worst bank experience, and they don't care at all. It's Obama another worst decision to bail them out!

Worst retail hours and lazy employees. Credit card had fraud activities and they took forever to resolve that other credit card companies had done much more efficiently for me in the past.

First of all I would like to say everyone at the bank greeted me with smiles and concerns. I had an issues with my new account and was frustrated with the customer service. Ted M. Guzman help me problem solve my issues seamlessly and with ease setting up my new account. He walk me through all stages and layer of setting up my account step by step. His representation really shows a great service and the care for his customers. I appreciate Ted being personable and providing a genuine care. I would high recommend working with the team at this location and I thank Ted once again for giving citi bank another chance.

Had fraudulent activity on my card and they basically said too bad. Having to cancel my account so I don't keep getting reoccurring fraudulent charges on my card that they make me pay.

Let me start by saying it's no secret that I hate going into any bank. However the Management staff at Citibank in Chino Hills on Pipeline really go out of their way to handle our needs. I actually travel over an hour from my home to do my business at this branch. Ted is the Manager and he goes well beyond the call of duty to keep his staff on top of overseeing the different facets of managing our company's banking needs. Many thanks to Ted and His team!

They reel you in with good incentives to get you to be their clients/customer but than the customer service is horrible & the fees for everything goes way up. This particular branch, I went to withdraw some cash & their cash dispensing machine wasn't working, so they basically told me there was nothing they can do. You guys are a bank, when a machine doesn't work you move onto counting the cash by hand & getting the customers in & out, not this branch. The whole bank stops & you can't do any transactions. Then, if you need a money order they hit you with a $10 fee, ridiculous & $5-6 dollar fee for using out of network atm not including the fee from the other bank that you used. They are scam artist & crooks. I closed my account & will never do business with a company like this again.

This bank is the worst! Not this location specifically but the entire organization. They lack from customer service, to how they disclose how fees will be generated, and how the banks operates as a whole. Do not bank with citi

Call them and they use a robot machine. No human pick up and when they do, they are unhelpful and transfer you around like a pingpong. They need to get there act together and stop using robots to answer calls. The software robot they use is complete trash.

Extremely unpleasant experience. I don't know if it is Citibank as a whole or it is just this branch, but their check cashing policy is completely ridiculous and unnecessary. They clearly have no concept of customer experience, or if they do, they just don't care, because I escalated the issue to the Vice President at the branch, and there was not a single sympathetic ear at this branch. I like others, was tying to cash a check at this branch without having an account here, and they took my social security number along with other personal information since I was not a customer. I was told that it was to prevent money laundering. In addition, if there was a second payee, they would absolutely not cash the check. The check was issued to my wife and myself. My check was from Farmer's Insurance for $52. Somehow I seriously doubt Farmer's Insurance is involved in laundering money for criminals, especially in check amounts as small as I was cashing. That would be a cost prohibitive venture for money launderers, and is laughable. I will not go in to the specifics of the conversation, because I became heated myself, as I am sure many other customers would empathize when being treated like a criminal. This is clearly a situation where common sense is not exercised by any staff at this branch all the way up to the Vice President/Branch Manager. They are merely robots following a script, with no care or consideration for the human beings that walk through their doors. They also have no concept of customer loyalty, as we were shopping for a new bank, but we will now NEVER bank at Citibank, when they treat their customers, or potential customers like criminals. Management at this branch should all be fired and at a minimum, they should all be trained in customer service and understand they are in a SERVICE industry. Their sole purpose is to meet the needs of the customers banking with them and to increase revenue for their branch. Driving customers away through their rude isolationist behavior most certainly does not do that. Shame on Citibank.
