Probably one of dirtiest unkept bathrooms I've ever seen in an Albertsons and it's always like this... From black mold all around both sinks to trash snd water always on the floor .. just maybe the store manager could occasion stick his head in the bathroom and see what's up. This bathroom needs a deep cleaning and sanitizing to get rid of black mold and everything else

I really like this store. Everything you need is there. Fresh food. Clean, neat. There is Starbucks. Polite staff. There is a laundry department. There is a restroom .

I like this market overall, but I have to speak out about the service. This isn't directed at all employees-- many are very kind and helpful-- but two individuals have been rude enough for me to write a post. I can swallow hostility directed at me-- customer service is a difficult industry, and I know everyone has bad days. But it really boils my blood when my mother is treated poorly. She's almost 70 years old...she struggles with English and is hard of hearing, but is that a reason to be condescending? Compassion should be the standard toward everyone. It should be especially true toward the elderly. On a related note, today is the third time I've witnessed an appalling attitude directed toward a lady struggling with English. I stepped in to help and was treated with the same loud voice and irritable scowling, despite remaining calm and polite myself. There's no reason to treat any customer like they're imbeciles for asking questions. If you can't understand someone, just apologize and leave...seriously.

Great location. Clean and well kept store. Deli with sushi which is good, and Starbucks inside. The staff is friendly, well somewhat. The other day I walked into the men's room and saw that the floor was totally covered in water from a major leak. I walked over to an employee stocking the freezer, and said "hello" so I can tell him about the issue. %100 ignored me. Like I say, for the most part, employees are courteous, but there is always one who isn't.

I was just at the Albertson's supermarket in Chino Hills on Grand Ave. They only had the self checkout open. When I asked the 20-something employee how to ring up bananas without a tag, I got attitude. I must have disrupted her standing around doing nothing. In a disrespectful tone, being clearly annoyed, said, "You type in banana." Are you joking?! I don't work as a grocery clerk, nor am I an employee of Albertson's. At the prices Albertson's charges, I expect better customer service than that. And I shouldn't have to self check. I could go to Walmart and pay less, and I can't believe I'm saying this, get better customer service! I've been an Albertson's customer for decades, but I won't be going back. I'll go to Stater Bros. They have checker there and no attitude.

EXPIRED FOOD! This is the 2nd time I got home to see the food I got was expired and the worst part is, I could hardly see the expiration date and ate the food later finding out it was a MONTH past the expiration date. I tried to contact Albertsons on its contact page, but the submit button was not working to submit my complaint. Typical. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Been shopping here for many years and seems like more times than not when shopping, employees that work at the registers always are talking amongst themselves out loud about how they don't like fellow employees or how someone else is not doing what they're supposed to be doing. Im there to purchase groceries, not here a soap opera every time at the registers which is uncomfortable to hear. If they don't like there job, leave or talk to your manager privately but definitely not in front of customers. Has anyone else experience this.

Thanks so much to Johanna, Bakery Manager, for all her help with the beautiful cakes this morning. Albertsons and all of us customers are so very fortunate that she is part of the Albertsons management team!

I had a great customer service today. Rizzo in the produce department went out of his way to get a product we wanted. He contacted the produce distribution manager. Much to our surprise the product we have been waiting for a long period of time he had it waiting for us when we went in the store. He always is very helpful and knowledgeable about the produce. Great place to shop.

I have been a resident of Chino Hills since 1989 and was at the opening of Albertsons on the first day that it opened. Since it was brought out by Krogers the service and the variety of food items has suffered. I was just in there and all the register lights were off, but there was a lady at one of the registers with her back leaning against the register. This forced me to go to the self checkout. It is my belief that if I pay full price for a item, I should get full service.

The online ordering and delivery option in place is bad. There isn't an option to void or wait for the order when selected items are not available. Four online orders were all incomplete forcing me to pay additional $ for going under the required amount as well as reordering to get the necessary items later. It's not cost effective and the substitutions were not palate related rendering them useless for the recipes. The online app listed each item as "in stock" throughout the process. Out of the four orders I placed, the most consistent fail were Deli items. That being said each order lacked shelf items and substitute items had up to a $12.00 cost increase to me, my original ordered items were never marked "out of stock" on the website.

Local shopper, been going here for the past 2 years. Here's my encounter with Frank, Art, and Eric. Frank was the cause of the problem. Art was stocking eggs so he didn't have a full view of the encounter but he was brought into the disagreement. Eric is, I assume, the head gm and handled the situation correctly. The encounter:My wife and I went to the back corner of the store by the frozen foods. As we were looking at the end cap we noticed Frank approaching behind us. He pretended to be on his phone just keeping around our presence and not acknowledging us. What someone does when they are suspicious of a shoplifter. As we walked around the aisle he continued to follow and I commented to my wife he's being weird. So I walked around the opposite end cap passing Art and coming back to the original aisle and he continued to follow keeping us in view while having small chat with Art. (At this point Art is not in view because he's on the opposite end cap stocking eggs.) This is when I start to mock Frank pretending to watch him back. So what does Frank do? He gives me a dirty look and says to Art this guy thinks I'm following him. Yes, Frank, you made me feel like I was being followed. Emotions got heated and words were exchanged between me, Frank, and Art. I'll give Art the benefit of the doubt because he didn't see much and was defending his co-worker from what he thought was an unreasonable customer. Why didn't Frank respond with... Sir, can I help you? Why are you doing that? Nope, he said to Art "this guy thinks I'm following him" which just confirms the whole situation. I probably got a little too heated but it wouldn't have happened if Frank just greeted us like normal customers instead of following us around like a weirdo. The whole thing was just strange. Especially since we're local shoppers and they know us. I'm going to continue to shop here but you've been warned about FRANK. I was just going to let it go until I saw the other negative review of Frank so I'm doubling down. His customer service is defensive and argumentative and he didn't act like someone who was innocent of the situation. He didn't question my mockery that is the key takeaway. Albertsons probably needs to give this guy some counseling because friendly isn't in him.

First time using the DriveUp & Go feature and it was a breeze! Ordered my groceries through the app and it was ready within an hour. When I arrived I didn't even wait for 5 minutes and a super friendly associate named Chase came out to greet us and happily load our groceries in the trunk for us. Great customer service!

This is one of the closest groceries to our home but it's so discouraging to buy from this branch. The lines are always so long. 1 or 2 cashiers each time I go. Something needs to be done about this. Also the woman in the butcher section was not nice, quite hostile. I'm never returning to buy meat from them.
