“I have seen 2 vets here and they both were awesome!! Extremely knowledgeable, kind and empathetic to the special needs of my dogs. Same goes for the staff as well. I have only had great experiences here. My dogs are my family and i feel like i can fully trust that my dogs are well taken care of at Chico Animal Hospital. “Took our Riverdog in for his shots and a checkup. He had overdone it this past weekend and was having a hard time getting around.
They got us in a little earlier than the appointment time. They gave our boy a thorough checkup, even with him trying everything he could to squirm away from them. The staff is patient, carrying, and knowledgeable, and it shows with the care they give our pets. I highly recommend Erickson!”

“I have been here on several occasions with sick animals and I have always left disappointed and extremely unsatisfied with the care my pets received. But this past week I was in with my very sick girl and ended up having to put her down which was a shock I did not go in thinking I would leave with out her. The Dr I had was wonderful Dr Masonek - very thoughtful and made me feel like a long time patient of hers. She made my family feel at peace with our decision. And the assistant who helped me was just the most compassionate and kind young lady, Faith. She brought my son some crayons and a coloring book to distract him while we were dealing with losing our girl.. we were treated very well by them and are very thankful we had such a positive experience here . Good job VCA.”

“I had an awesome experience at this place. I took my Ivy girl in for an emergency. I had call ahead to make sure they would be ready for her when we arrived. She ended up having a severe anaphylactic shock to unknown reasons. Dr. Sierra and her staff were very compassionate. She and her student training reassured me and calmed me down that Ivy was in good hands. She had to stay overnight and we were able to pick her up the next morning. I’ve dealt with other vet places that were not nice and try to take advantage of me. I never once felt like that at this place. They are very transparent with you with prices and explain to you. Ivy is my kiddo to me so I would do any thing for her. Thank you guys for saving her! Forever grateful to these amazing people!! Here’s a few update pics of her! ?”
