“Buddy at Tedious Repairs helped me to do my 90,000 mile check up on my Lexus. The closest Lexus dealership to Chico is Roseville, and I was not driving all the way down there. He went through and tested everything the way Lexus would have and then presented me with a detailed packet of all the finding from the inspection. Professional, courteous, honest, and a quality mechanic.”

“I have been going to J&J for many years now. It's a small shop with just one mechanic. It's nice to only talk to the person who is actually working on my car. He is a straight to the point kinda guy which is exactly what I look for in a mechanic. I was way past need of my last oil change with a long drive scheduled in a couple day.... I called him frantic and he squeezed me in, that's customer service. My tires were off balance so he referred me to a tire place for an alignment and ensured me that I don't need to tires but they might try to sell me them. I absolutely appreciated that advice.”

“My son and I were driving his new/old Tacoma down from Portland and we started having clutch issues. As fate would have it we made it to Chico, home of the foremost vintage Toyota specialist in the world (maybe exaggerating a bit). We called Dan the morning before a holiday weekend and he squeezed us in. We needed an obscure 1995 clutch pedal to get back on the road; Dan had one, new old stock. Incredible. In a couple of hours, as opposed to likely a couple of weeks, we were motoring. Chico Car care was a godsend for us in a pinch. I can only imagine how well they’ll take care of you with enough time to schedule regular service. Thanks Dan”
