I haven't been to Tammy's since 2009. And all I have to say is she still does an outstanding job and work for all her clients. Granted there might be a wait and most male workers beside herself on weekends or in general but things still get done and they provide great work even when you have to wait a little. Some others on Sunday would probably disagree with me but I owned a salon before and I know how chaotic some days are. Especially week of graduation was most likely way it's was bit of a wait.

This establishment has great customer service, i just wish their quality was as great. My friend and I went in to get our nails done and it was a welcoming vibe at first. One of the employees started working on her full set of acrylics then one shortly after began my full set. He had just finished a pedicure and i did not see him wash or sanitize his hands before touching mine. I continue to ask for a certain shape and i get the complete opposite. He applied my nails and shaped them (not so nicely) and then i get moved to the chair where my friend is originally at. Throughout the service we were switching nail techs and it was not comfortable, it seemed like they were just trying to get us in and out. We both got french tip nails and the lines were crooked and you can see the streaks the polish left. The employee who was painting my nails dug his nails into my hand to steady his hand and when cleaning up the polish he dug his nail under mine and he hurt me. I was very disappointed to say the least with this salon, i went here because the reviews were great but unfortunately that was not the case for us.

My husband and I go monthly to Tammy and her staff for a pedi and mani ... we love this lighthearted and fun loving salon . Such a sweet family!!! Wendy did a beautiful job on my nails and Zara ( sorry if I spelled that wrong) took care of my husband . which by the way it was a challenge to get my husband back into a nail salon after his first experience with another salon which will remain unnamed... but he will go to Tammys . Fun , laid back and relaxing . If you are looking for a place to get your nails done at a reasonable price Tammy Nails will not disappoint. But if you are looking for tranquil and quiet place this is not that place so don't go and then give a bad review....

I LOVED the service and friendly, comfy atmosphere. The clients looked happy and out of the usual nail salon dynamic, clients & staff joke, smile, etc The prices are low to moderate. Their work was PERFECT with both my pedi and nails.

Owner did my nails and they turned out awful, and I had them removed. Never once did she offer to redo my nails mind you I could bend them when she finished them

Great job on my nails. I've gotten compliments after both fills by many. They really like the color and shape. None of my nails have broken before their fill.

I just got back from an appointment with them. I did not catch the name of the man who did my nails. But he did fantastic work. I had gone in to get acrylic nails done for my anniversary with my boyfriend and had read a bunch of reviews beforehand. So before I went in I was pretty nervous, but it was very close to my house, so it was the place for such a short notice. I did go in later, about five, and there was basically nobody so I got seated immediately. They were all pretty nice, it was clean and pretty quiet. It was also pretty small in there but that's okay. Something else to mention is that I am a very broke college student so my grandma had helped me out, but this also meant that I was on a pretty strict budget and when I showed my artist the Pinterest picture for inspiration he said $70 but since I was only working with $60 while I was looking for another one, he said he'd do my original picture and I couldn't be happier! I feel so confident. Now while I know that every salon has good and bad artists, I was so thrilled to get a good one and will be back when I have a better budget! He deserves to be paid full price. The most attentive acrylic manicure I've had and when I asked if I could have stiletto instead of almond he came through! They're ALMOST too sharp. But I could not be happier! I never review things but they deserve it!

Not only do they do the best nails in Chico, but I had an experience there that is worth sharing. A few months ago, before our daughter’s wedding, i had left a check for nails and toes for my granddaughter and I.Tammy kept the check for two months until I returned because she felt I had overpaid.Thank you for your integrity and maintaining such high standards.Services: Acrylic nails

I have been going here for about three or four years . Apparently they no longer know how to do coffin shape. They get my nails wrong each and every time. I leave unhappy after each visit. In addition the wait time is unheard of, they do not stick to appointments. I have seen them answer the phone while I was there to take an appointment, they don't even write anything down. You can wait upwards of an hour to get your nails done. Also, the owner's husband seems to think that flirting with all the women he comes in contact with is cute, It is disgusting and extremely inappropriate. I also can't handle all of the chatter in Chinese. It is very rude. There are many nail salons in Chico, I would Recommend going anywhere else but here. I know I am moving on.

Cheaper prices than most places and easy to get same-day appointments, but they only take cash and often are overbooked, so the work can be a little sloppy. But really nice people.
